9:28 Should be noted that when you lock onto a target, you can look away from them as long as you want and they'll lock on instantly when they're in LOS again. Super useful for dueling tracers with recall or genjis when you're baiting deflect. Also useful for pre emptive lockons so you know you dont have to stick to a certain position all the time to maintain a lock on. Detailed guide. Learned a lot.
@27:47 : most content creators didn't see the re-worked lifeweaver. He can DPS now and with Juno they are great TBH especially in push maps. just check the new lifeweaver now. new petal functionality. he can charge health while shooting. no slow down while charging. even on Twitch, I hear many streamers saying " this lifeweaver is different, why he is dps-ing". they should try him to know that he is changed now.
as an extra note, you can even do the crusty lifeweaver pharah strat with juno by allowing her to reset her double jump on the platform for more height.
They can change wife leaver as much as they want, pub wife leavers are gonna keep gripping me out of successful 5-man shatters, troll designed character fr
they dont really work that well together in theory. Im not sure if they would be good against dive? But when juno speeds everyone in, how tf does lw help? yeah if someone diving gets weak we can pull them out but thats kina mid. He is now vulnerable in the backline. In brawl they probably just collapse, dive the lw is useless, they both have kinda mid long range poke. doesn't seem horrible but there are definitely better options in every matchup. seems kinda okay in mos comps. I definitely would not say GREAT.
So I've learned I definitely use a diverge style most often, but I do keep making the mistake of having my dash on CD when I try to torpedo just because it lets me stay airborne long enough to target paint. Gotta break that habit.
idk if any lucio players here noticed this but i sure did. but notice that... lucio doesn't do to well with certain map geometry, it kinda messed up the wall ride, whereas juno actually benefits from weird map geometry, they are both similar heroes too
They synergise well too. Recently had a great match with me and a Lucio both flying all over the place keeping everyone topped up. They can both cover ground so quickly that you can have a more spread out team and still be alright if done well.
regarding juno & moira, considering that kiriko & juno is largely considered to be her best and most viable backline, being a budget version of that really isn't so bad. the most notable loss is the lack of suzu but in less coordinated environments or ranked, it's definitely better than how you make it out to be IMO.
@@IB_SPACELEEhyper ring usage before hack, using map geometry and cover well, shooting her enough so she knows you’re not prey who will die against her the moment she starts shooting (you don’t have to kill just pose enough of a threat that she backs off) Or if you’re with a well grouped up team, it’s always nice to just rotate around and within them! But tbh sombra rn is too broken and counters juno fairly easily😅😅
Very informative and exactly what I was looking for when she came out! :) I love Juno so much I want to main her and properly use her, so far I have a 55% winrate with her and shes so rewarding when you use her abilities right
Great video, but I didn't hear you mention the issues Juno has when faced with a Sombra. It's a nightmare. Seriously need help with this, other than switching to Kiri (which I do, but it's difficult when the rest of the team/map is perfect for Juno)
you gotta play closer to your team. i try to stick with a dps or my tank and constantly move around so when i get the inevitable hack + virus combo the dps can turn around and smack her with me or my 2nd support will help me. this advice is kinda for playing against sombra in general tho as she is rn lol. Juno specific, I keep mobile and changing high to low ground to make isolating me in one spot hard for sombra
shorts arent worth, i do tiktoks but they are over a minute long which means they can make a decent amount of money if i get monetised, and obviously shorts have a max time limit of 60 seconds
@@Kajor1 I mean... every damage falloff in OW is 70%. I was thinking of someone like Cassidy who has a 10 meter difference between full and 30% damage.
Great video! But @3:48 high ground was listed as important because Tracer and Sombra don’t have any verticality. Translocator provides excellent access to high ground, even at the low ranks I play in. Can someone flesh this idea out? Is it about using Juno’s slightly shorter glide cooldown to keep above?
1) no competent sombra in high elo is going to use their escape card to chase a kill unless it's guaranteed 2) even heroes that have verticality like genji/echo, it's still important to use highground, because it makes their dive predictable. if you are on highground, and a genji is walking forward at you, you know he's likely going to dash into you, which makes his dive predictable thus easier to absorb and outplay
Thanks for the reply! The importance of high ground in general and against dive makes sense, but it does not seem to protect my low-elo self from Sombra. I am assuming I am missing something. Even in high-elo play, couldn’t she Translocate up to Juno, wait out the cooldown, then attack? Or does that pull her out of the fight for too long? Thanks again!
@@katiesnell4057 it's suicide in high level play to use translocater aggressively, you will die in less than a second usually (depends on how many people are looking at you) you only see aggressive translocaters when sombra is already in invis just to stage to different highgrounds but thats in the prefight, if ur dualling a sombra and you jump to highground she will rarely use translocate and if she does and u still die it's kind of a skill issue
Haha😅 I have no doubt it’s a skill issue. Is this video really meant for high-level play then? If so, my apologies for the bronze type questions and feel free to disregard the rest. If not, I was hoping for some advice that work at low ranks. Originally, I didn’t really clock that the high ground was meant to provide a retreat from a currently-visible Sombra. In my head my Juno was low, falls back to high ground, an invisible Sombra spots this, translocates up, and finishes the job. Is this just a risk tradeoff that one has to make? There is plenty to work on at my current ability level, but I am not sure which skills to prioritize if I want to improve survival against Sombra.
Juno has a controller specific tech where you can glide up any 90-degree wall by rubbing it while pushing ur stick slightly until you find the sweet spot. I call this tech "Rub Sliding."
