@@BrevityBuzz No 3000 farads are a thing. I have over a 100 of them and they will start a care with no problem. The only problem is you need to use that car daily. Letting the car sit will allow the caps to drain and you will be pushing that car. Their beauty is they can fully recharge in minutes. I have 4 X 6 cell caps batteries in parallel that will fully charge in 10 minutes. When they are paired with a traditional battery, the fully charged caps will bleed into the batteries until they are equalized. The caps will also take a sudden load (Car Start) leaving a regular battery alone which will make the regular battery last much, much longer.
Is this some specific bms for super caps? Also why put it? You bypassed it on every application. I'm really curious and I ask cause I want to build something like this and I need to know the details. Thanks in advance

Each capacitor can only provide 2.7 volts at 3Wh. There is no risk of death from 6 of these providing 16.2 volts max. And it would not take long to charge 3Wh even with a small charger.
@@LukUscYT You need voltage to push the current. if your skin was moist and the electrodes were very close together you could get a good burn. Otherwise the resistance in your skin is to high to allow electrons to flow. Once you starting going over 40 volts I would start to worry.

I think you dont understand Farad. And also you dont understand anything in electrisity so far. Well i will explain, but you've got to clear yourselve up a bit and try to understand: Capacitors can be in many forms, but their basic idea is, that they have got two metal plates (or metal foils) which are seperated by an isolator. Then if they are connected to a voltage a charge will build up on them the same as a charge will build up on your body, when you rub your shoes on carpet. So they can store energy. For most capacitors they cant store that much. But these Capasitors are special, but it would be too much to explain why. The basicly work the same,but the seperation (oxidation layer) is very thin and their surface area is very big. Now you could think, that there has to be some capacitors, that can store more energy and some that can store less energy. Of course of you take the same capacitor and charge it up to 1V it will have less charge and less energy stored than the same capacitor charged up to 2V. But you just want to know how good the capacitor is independend on the voltage. So there are two factors 1. The maximum voltage it can hold 2. The capacity. Capacity is defined as the charge the capacitor can hold (charge difference between the plates) if loaded to 1V. And cause the charge is directly proportional to the voltage with the proportional factor of the capacitor its Capacity is defined as C=Q/U and the unit is Farad So lets say you've got a capacity of 2F and you charge the capacitor up to a voltage of 2.5 V it will have a charge of Q=C*U=2F*2.5V=5As=5C ( 5 Coloumb) Now to get to the energy it has at any voltage: Its E=1/2*C*(U^2) with C being the capacity and U being the voltage. But now to your comment: The maximum current a capacitor or battery can output if shorted doesnt depend on the capacity it has got. It depends on the voltage its charged to and the inner resistance. Its simple I=U/R (ohms law) 30000F means, that it can hold a charge of 30000Coulomb if loaded to 1V or if loaded to 2V its 60000Coulomb or 60000As. So if loaded to 2V it can output for example 6000A for a duration 10seconds, if its inner resistance was low enough. Or 600A for 100s or ... . I think your 3600 is because you thought F is Ah which is Amp hours. Anyway with this calculation you cant derive the maximum current, but the time until discharge if there is always the same currrent flowing (which is also not possible, cause voltagr does go down). Also he set 6of them in series and then the overall capacity will be 1/6th of the original capacity, cause its maximum voltage will be 6 times as much, but since the energy goes quadratic it would be 36 times as much energy with only 6 times as much capacitors, which cant be true, so the capacity has to get divided by 6. ... read a science book for more information or listen to electroboom,.... .

The maximum voltage of a capacitor is 2.8V. If overvoltage. It will fail. So I connected to BMS.
@@PhdHung BMS is always a good idea although your car shouldn't put out more than 14.5 volts. That's roughly 2.4 per cap.
@@szatanizmo the caps can get unbalanced and still end up with one overcharged even though the full battery is only at 14.5v
