The episode where Ray gets to pick out the tissues, hose, and bug spray is the absolute best! But they all are so good. It’s playing as noise all the time in our house lol
My all-time favorite episode is without a doubt 'Tofu turkey' which I watch every year on Thanksgiving. Brad Garrett's performance is comedy gold when he strikes the table while gulping the horrible tofu...
I often watch segments of Everybody Loves Raymond on UA-cam. Really like it. The cast of characters is as PERFECT as it gets, with one exception. The ONE casting example that frustrates me no end is the Amy character. Monica Rosenthal OBVIOUSLY got that Amy role SOLELY because she is the wife of the creator, writer and producer of the show, Phil Rosenthal. That's a pity,, but the show is so strong with the rest of the cast that the viewer looks past it.
Oh yeah kinda funny how this sitcom is indeed the like EXACT OPPOSITE almost to the big bang theory at least in my head anyway. One part of the pay where the leading role got way more money. Funny ray did nothing to like help where the lead in the big bang theory did everything he can to have them have equal pay too.
The problem with the show is that Ray is a terrible father & husband, Debra is a nag & guilt tripper, Marie was the definition of an overbearing parent, Frank was more concerned with food & his own self interest & Robert was all over the place. With how miserable some of the couples were in their relationship (mainly Marie & Frank & Ray & Debra) I'm surprised that there weren't multiple divorces. Marie & Frank & Ray & Debra were too toxic for each other & sometimes it was uncomfortable to watch. They had no business being married. If anything, Robert & Debra should've ended up together, Marie & Frank should've gotten a divorce regardless of how old their kids were & Ray could've been the single guy that dates around & doesn't commit. I mean, there were some funny moments, but the cons seem to outweigh the pros

Starts off with an aftertaste, doesn't it??
@@jameshughes6049 It has a severe Yuck degree.... so that must be it....
Loved Robert and Amy’s wedding invitation !!
Peter Boyle deserved that Emmy! Best character in the show.
❤ best show ever
Two episodes stand out .. the FBI with Marie and Marie's glasses when she confronts Frank. But the whole show was brilliant.

Would've been more enjoyable if you used the scenes you were talking about instead of random scenes.
Wasn't the Seinfeld show in that same Universe as King of Queens and Raymond??
Does anyone know why the color purple was used ( usually in clothing) in each episode?
.... Wasn't one of the twins name on the pilot called Gregory?????? It wasn't Matthew or how was that done?
Ya know what I think.......if I say yes do you still have to tell me.
The best episode for me was when Debra had PMS and went off on Ray. Absolute best.
Be more specific.
They were actually called Gregory and Matthew at first, not geoffrey and matthew
I forgot the name of that dance.
The boys original names were Mathew and Gregory.
To be honest I knew all of these facts. Most of them are on the IMDB website.
Odd... I've heard all these facts before...

And all of that is what makes this comedy work!
I can’t see the funny side of him
