Measuring Drive Cycles and Enabling Power Hardware in the loop PHIL for Electric Vehicle Testing

Measuring electric power for drive cycles has similar issues as measuring power for a Hardware in the loop system. They both require a measurement system to move quickly from point to point, to have feedback to a user or control system, and to have a high accuracy. Often a PHIL will be used for doing drive cycle testing.
