Original Hazmat is a hybrid.
I like the new format, but please do left and right hand bowler. I'm a lefty.
As a novice bowler, this ball proved to me the difference a ball makes depending on lane conditions. My other hammer is symmetrical but has more reaction and hook, but I can see using the HSolid.
Great video! I have the 2 Hazmats with the Nu Blue as my 3 ball arsenal. They all compliment each other very well.
Just got my HSolid. Definitely more strong and stays on point. This will take some time to get used to. Missed a number of shots anticipating more hook.

For me the Big B Brands have way too much surface on them oob. Usually (due to scanner testing) my go to surfaces are 500/2000 skip for anything "dull" and 4000 to Stable for anything "shiny" .
Example. I love my Optimum Idol. Shot 300 with it. However I need to put the 2k back on it (since it is getting a little too far down lane) however i don't really want to (you know 300 ball...). My Marvel Maxx is polished and I haven't touched the surface
The road was good but situational until I did 500/2000 then it rolls close to an OG Troublemaker. I changed surface on the road 4 times until i got it right (Reacta gloss OOB, 3000, 1k/3k then 500/2000 skip)

Ronald, I believe you were at EBI at the time.. since it has the same coverstock and does NOT HAVE HK22, how does the Hazmat Solid compare to the Scandal Solid?
I think this ball is stronger with more total hook than the Scandal solid.
I have a verge solid(orange) and I put Brunswick compound over the box finish and absolutely love the ball, I also have a GB5 and am considering putting compound on it, do you think that wound work on the gb5, I also have the hazmat hybrid and get a very over under on that ball because of the hk22, I don't seem to get along with hk22 ...I am considering the hazmat solid because it is not hk22 and if worse I could put compound on it, how do you think the hazmat solid compares to the verge solid and the gb5, thanks
I really REALLY like this format with the ball changes. I'm still trying to figure out the best surface for my Perfect Mindset. I've tried a few so far, but not getting the same look when it was at the original 3k. I used the TruCut 3k pad and TruCut Conditioner to get it back to 3k (haven't had a chance to try it yet). I have been trying to get it to hook. Tried 2k without conditioner, then went the other direction with 3k and 5000D, then tried 2k and 3k together. No luck yet. Just straight-shooting. Any thoughts (aside that I can't hook the ball because I'm just that bad at bowling. Lol)?
Coming out of the box it's supposed to be 500 2000. I strongly suggest that you guys redo the video at 2000 surface. This is not a true review from you guys saying it's a thousand
