I don’t understand why this would be an issue in the first place. I may be a Christian, but no one HAS to believe in the Bible if they choose not to. All I’m saying is “Don’t Judge a Book by its Cover” and “Don’t Shoot The Messenger”. Anyways, God bless you all!
Exactly, if you live in a place where the parents and teachers want this taught and the school has implemented it the government has absolutely no right to infringe on it.
The bible was never really taken out of schools. Every student has the right to bring their bible to school and to pray if they want. IMO most don't do it because the Right keeps acting like these things have been banned in school. The difference is teachers shouldn't push these things because it would be a disaster because teachers are not theologians and some are not even Christian. Some on here probably think every teacher should be a Christian but that is about as illegal and unconstitutional as it gets. Finally, he brings up the pilgrims which is why I am a big believer in the separation of church and state. The pilgrims were not fleeing persecution from Muslims, or atheists but instead from other Christians. That is exactly why government should not endorse a certain religion and even evangelicals are all over the place in their beliefs with all the different denominations.
Then start taking your kids to bible study, church on Sunday, teach them about it at home AND send them to a faith based school. Public schools should not be teaching religion especially when that’s not the belief of all people in those schools.
Church and state are separated for a reason, and that's education with proven FACTS, not the pushing of one belief system of faith-based mythologies and fairy tales as scientific truth. If you want to put your beliefs in a public school under checked weak excuse and call it comparative to anything, then in order to make it so you have to present all the other beliefs and mythologies. And yes, it would also have to include atheism, paganism, and satanisim. Right now, America is NOT the theocracy a lot of people would like. So stop forcing your religious views onto the children. It's bound to cause more problems in which they're caught in the crossfire, and getting less decent education because of it. Last I checked, America's educational rating in the world was at 27. Maybe it's now better, but we're still lower than a lot of countries, with Japan and China being near the top.
I don't know how I feel about it to be honest. I see your point. But at the same time, this is a country founded by Christian men and the majority of the population are Christian. Maybe if people in the Public Square were not constantly trying to disrespect and do away with this truth, then you would not see these types of things being introduced and supported.

They did say they aren’t intending it for conversion didn’t they? It only makes sense then that the Bible is going to be used as background context in a historical sense to explain societal norms and events in the past.
A Bachelor’s in History or Education should make one qualified enough then, which is most teachers.
❤thank you for this. Yes the bible is essential ❤
Teach the Bible again
I found this On over-the-air television. For tampa residents it will be onrf channel 26-5
If the parents are on board, leave em alone.
Exactly
You opened a can of worms you idiots. Isn't going to church on Sunday good enough. Get off your A$$ and pray with your family. Kids that don't want to hear it shouldn't be forced. How about having a Morman, Somalian Muslim, or Scientologist lead in prayer? Would you like that most likely not. Stop forcing this on people that don't want to hear about your 2nd desert trilogy.
It's not going to hold, schools here in Oklahoma already said no to it
Good for him. People need to actually read the separation of church and state clause because it’s not what they think we need Bibles back in school and there’s nothing illegal about having a Bible in school.
The teaching is in the historical sense, and how Christian beliefs led to the founding of this nation. It would also highlight the influence the Bible had on our Constitution, Declaration of Independence, Bill of Rights, laws of the land, and morality.
The other religions you think should be taught had no part in the founding... other than making the founders more determined to use Biblical Christian beliefs.
Ironically, Christians are the only religious practitioners who have also declared they would fight for YOUR right to practice the religion of your choice.
Teach The Bible absolutely but make the version the New King James Version and give both the children and teachers half a chance to hear The Truth xx
Love it ❤
God bless America. Yahweh bless you all. Jesus is good, so good. He loves you and wants to you to love him and know too for yourself. Please give him a chance just this once and you won't regret it.
First, why don't you conduct a pilot project of the 10 commandments for Representatives and Senators. I'm curious and wonder how many commandments (specifically 7-10) are broken on a daily basis by these Representatives and Senators.
School is for teaching,if you're gonna teach religion, teach em all. Don't just cherry pick your favorite.

@@Linda-sk9hl school is for education, church is for practicing one's religion of choice. To only teach one choice is sub par education,we want brilliant minds capable of critical thinking skills and to narrow that process is not beneficial to all of us. If it's just a US history class then ok,but all religions did have an effect upon humanity worldwide.
Indoctrination has a definition, it's the words that they keep playing with the definitions of that's the real problem.
I agree in full with this superintendent.
Awesome. you have my full support Mr. Ryan Walters. God bless you.
AMEN for Oklahoma ❤❤
Yes, We need the wholistic of our History told throughout theses United States of America
The children need to learn about GOD if they don't hear it from their dad and mom they can hear it at school our governor here in Louisiana signed into law that every classroom have a display of the Ten Commandments people should carry their Bibles everywhere with them
We're about to vote for public funding for private schools. We will likely have public Christian schools within 10 years.
I don’t understand why this would be an issue in the first place. I may be a Christian, but no one HAS to believe in the Bible if they choose not to. But it’s highly important to read the stories in it and discuss them as all of them have highly important life lessons to teach teachers and students respectively. All I’m saying is “Don’t Judge a Book by its Cover” and “Don’t Shoot The Messenger”. Anyways, God bless you all!
KEEP THE GOOD BOOK!!!🇺🇸🇺🇸📖🔔
To other non-christian students too have to study Bible?. If so than its not appropriate.
I live in tulsa okla. And i 💯 with him. It shouldnt had never been taken out
Exactly, if you live in a place where the parents and teachers want this taught and the school has implemented it the government has absolutely no right to infringe on it.
Lord have mercy on America.
I wish they wouldve done this in the 80s and 90s.
Yes, it changes the Truth to lies..But God is answering prayers and restitution for our people. Our USA❤
I’m with superintendent! Don’t change history! Fight! Fight! Fight! We’re religious people here! Don’t California beautiful Oklahoma.
Oh we don’t wanna California Oklahoma what do we gain from it
Wow! 🙌Truth 👏
Bible is a must 4 individuals❤❤❤read it, read it, read it❤❤❤to know your history❤❤❤
Here in America it’s like disciples of Alinsky v disciples of Faith
Our motto
Cxl the naysayer- freedom over Marxism
Learning not to lie, murder.....wow.
Thank God for People like him!
It's about time we teach Real History! God Bless!
@@melissadeloach8503 Actually, no. Thomas Jefferson was what would be termed Agnostic, Benjamin Franklin was more of a Quaker.
@@DeborahEvans-r2v Quakers are Christian, duh.
@@melissadeloach8503The fact that they were Christian and the FIRST amendment to the constitution is freedom of and FROM religion should speak volumes. Keep your stories and fairytales to yourself and stop trying to make everyone adhere to them 🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️
@@RTR_87 the fact that they were Christian and established the First Amendment to the Constitution should have you respecting them instead of condemning them and their religion.
Pray for Ryan Walters. So many haters out there. I am so happy that he is in office.
Amen, let's all take a stand!
Hello folks! The Bible has been the number one book on the best seller list since forever. It is the most influential piece of literature ever since the dawn of time. Religions and countries have come into being by the teachings of the Bible. The justice system around the world is based on the teachings of the Bible's laws. It is easily the most important book known to man. Why would anyone think that it is not mandatory reading for our children's education? It certainly should be for high school graduation. If a college degree is given to someone that has not traversed the Bible that is just about Criminal! Did I mention that it is a great read? Well it is and everyone should read the Bible. I didn't say you have to agree with it I said everyone on Earth should have a good perception of the Bible because it is that important.
Lord help Ryan Walter’s and be his defense Lord in the Mighty name of Jesus
Lord please helps these brainwashed fools about separation of church and state. Or how the government shouldn’t have an established religion.
Praise God. 🙏
May God bless this good man!
God bless America for making this move for bringing back the Bible to the school🙏
I say bring back the Bible to the public schools. It’s long than needed.
God bless Oklahoma if they don't like it they can move to California
I wish Idaho would! Its time!
That man needs to be removed... It's the parents responsible. But remember the Bible can be banned.
It's so blatant, no matter how you spin it. You'll just keep pushing to break down the wall of separation. You won't stop until you've got an evangelical theocracy.
Yes, we will get God's Word everywhere. When America started, The Bible was being taught in schools and by encouragement of the founding fathers themselves, and yet no one at that time considered that an Evangelical theocracy. It is you and the satanic hacks like you who, no matter what they do, will never succeed in stopping us from always proclaiming God's Word in public. If you don't like that, you can gladly go and enjoy freedom in Communist China, but much to your horror, you will see how The Christian Faith is spreading like wild fire there.
One nation under God.
Which god because from what I can tell you think it’s Jesus and the Jewish have another god.
Amen! 🙏🏾🇺🇸👏🏽🧎🏾♀️Jesus is the King! It is history that need to be taught to our children.
If we are going to mandate students learn from the pilgrims perspective, let's also mandate that we learn from the native Americans perspective.
Unfortunately, forcing pagan teachers to teach the Bible is not good. This is what the Church is for. It will likely be done wrong and now these kids will think they have studied the Bible and reject it. Bible should only be taught by born again believers. I absolutely believe a local school district can choose to use the Bible, but please make sure it is a man of God doing the teaching
Good for you, Praise the Lord!
Why the world leaders hate this shows us how REAL THE LORD IS IS JESUS CHRIST WE PRAY 🙏 FOR THIS SHINE THE LIGHT OF HOD AND GOOD
