The handicapped parking symbol in the school parking lot is interesting. It does make me wonder if it could hint towards some disabilities being added in the sims?

I love how now packing a lunch makes the most sense .. parents can pack lunches for all the kids and they can eat for free

This will be so nice for generation and family based gameplay… sick of having lesbian parents get straight male sims hitting on them and them feeling flirty when that wouldn’t be accurate. It’ll be so much easier for more autonomous gameplay.
Ikr I'm excited to have my Sims set on who they will flirt with or accept flirting from! and I guess if you don't have to check anything off, you can make asexual or aromatic sims? That's a good start for sure
Putting computer nerds and band geeks in the basement is pretty realistic. 😂
The nice thing about the Auditorium lot is we can create a Festival Space, not just for teens, but for everyone, for example, we can create a Gaming Festival (with arcades, gaming mats, etc.), or a Halloween Festival (with Halloween decoration)… anyway, we can create lots of kind of Festival or activities for our Sims... I think this is really cool...
I wonder if there would a way to do more school dances using the auditorium
I am so curious!! When a sim graduates high school, do they stop going to high school afterwards? Or do they still continue to go to school everyday until they age up??? And if it is only until graduation, can the time frame of high school/graduation be edited to suit longer lifespans??? 🤔

i believe that after they graduate they do not return to high school but they can get a part time job or maybe enroll in uni if you own the university pack! i've also seen that they can drop out of high school 🫢
Simsie said that they don't have any high school after graduation. She also mentioned they graduated when they age up but I'm not sure, like do they get a graduation as young adults or is that they have just graduated by default since they are adults, I still don't get the whole graduation thing
graduation could be always in the last day of the sim teenage years i guess?? this way they will necessarily age up after the ceremony

I'm really excited for this pack, no lie. But is it just me? Or does the base game update seem even more exciting? I feel like most of us have wanted true sexual orientations in this game since it released, and it's finally happening. The only thing i know i hate about this pack is the sneakout window. I really feel as though they should have made it part of the base game update that all windows could now be opened and crawled through. That was really upsetting, but whatever.
I agree, but also I don't know that it's super realistic for the window thing? It would have been one thing had they been doing that from the start, but there are a TON of windows in the game, each with different sizes and shapes, at lot of which that don't seem like they even would open, plus I'm certain that the special window from the pack has to be at a certain height in order to be functional. I don't think they really CAN make all the windows work like that, or at least work like that without significantly cutting down how much freedom you have with placing windows.
@@bubbs6969 you've got a point, but i do wish they at least added a couple windows that behave like that, like just a COUPLE revamps of base game windows at least?
Obviously you are allowed to wish it was in the base game, but I suppose I just don't see the utility of it. Maybe the new window function would be useful if you had Parenthood, since your sims can get grounded or have set curfews and they might need to sneak out, but other than that it just seems unnecessary because your sims don't need to sneak out? In the base game, your child and teen sims can just go to the park or a friend's house in the middle of the night if they want with no consequences, lol. To me it seems like the sims team generally doesn't add features like this to the base game unless it would have a general use outside of the pack, like body hair or sexuality, in this case.
I think the shaving option should have been included to base game

The idea of adding fears is awesome. The ONLY thing I want that I am not seeing is that TEENS LOOK LIKE TEENS!
Oh trust I’m gonna give all of the teens a makeover to look more young lol and helps with mods to make them shorter but I personally don’t like using mods much
@thegaytay preteens! That would be great. Honestly teens these days prefer to look 20 at least the ones I’ve seen lol.
The Thrifting sounds like a really fun way to just shop for new clothes. Having to buy outfits is fun new gameplay. The Social Bunny looks fun to use too and just build relationships with others. Seems very real life these days. I do wish they added more after school activities like band and art. I hope children will get more soon as well because they have 2, scouts and drama. Scouts is fun and drama is fine, but we need more options for them. The carnival was a pleasant surprise and looks like a fun place to hang out. I am excited for this pack and more things to do with my teens, so they don't just seem like young adults. All the base game updates they have been giving us lately are so exciting. Very happy with sexual orientations, wants/fears, and the curve walls. Can't wait for this pack!
it would be cool if socially awkward sims can ask good friends/family members for tips on how to be social. like how you can "help relationship with" with other sims
I am so interested to see how werewolves and high school interact!! And parenthood/high school. And university/high school. This expansion feels like it should combine with a lot of the already existing content.

I would love to know the story behind the prom roast chicken. My high school prom did not include a full blown meal - just like drinks and light appetizers. My friends and I left prom 20 minutes early so we wouldn’t get trapped in the long line of limos and had time to go get pancakes before curfew (legal teen driving curfew not parental curfew).

At my high school, you first had to pay for a parking pass, but if you wanted one of the good parking spaces close to the buildings, which were the reserved spaces and you could paint as a senior, you had to pay extra, and it was not cheap

I have such a weird play style and this actually works for me. I don't age up my family, ever... But with this, the teen in my household can graduate early, stop going to school, and still be a teen!! Get a part time job and work on our farm!! Yay!

people need to realise not everyone plays with the npcs and townies and some have full worlds of original sims
On the career day aspect we didn’t have that but we did have a college day it was after school and recruiters would be there talking about their colleges and the degree options so I personally think this is very very similar since we only have two colleges in sims 4 so it makes more sense to have career day instead
I hope some modders got early access just to prepare for the update 😭

I'm really excited about this pack! I just know my laptop will not allow the live school gameplay tho, the clock is already broken with basic stuff. My sim would get in trouble all the time just stalling in an empty room trying to get to class 😅
Hi, Kayla! I have a little question you might be able to answer : I am used to set "big holidays" during each season with the Calendar (1 week during Spring, 3 weeks during Summer, 1 week during Fall and 2 weeks during Winter), therefore absolutely checking the "no school nor work" box (I don't know how it is called in English, sorry 😅)... do you know/can check when you get back the pack (please 😁) if that still works or if it is impossible to do that with Copperdale Students? I guess it doesn't change a thing but I would like a confirmation 😄 Thanks if you do, still thanks if you don't, keep up the amazing work ❤

it would be so cool if people other than elders can get fear of death. like possibly if a known sim dies or the see a death. maybe replacing moodlets to some extent lol free us from moodlets lol. moodlets need to be tuned or change how they work i hope wants and fears will control them somewhat. theyre too circumstantial which makes sims interchangeable and indistinguishable from eachother... if every single person is all sad because they see a sim die they dont even know the sim everyone sticking around to gawk and wail. breaking the game bc grim cant get the body away LOL
i wonder if the sneak-out windows lock, like if i lock my werewolf sim in her room with an unlocked escape window during a rampage can she leave autonomously and wreack havoc on everything
If we got stealth, can I sneak IN to the house? A vampire sneaking into the bedroom for a snack, or spellcaster using the theft spell (Burglarate?) and breaks in through the poorly thought-out new window in the mansion?

False, this is not the first time sims used straws in Sims 4. When vampires drink from plasma packs they stick a straw in through the bag like it's a Capri-Sun.

I'm pretty sure they are just like the current whims. Except they are more tailored to the sims personality. Not just "buy a bee box" for every sim.

Love the new update coming with this pack but it's kinda sad that shaving might not be base game. Having to buy an expansion pack to experience the full body hair/shaving experience kinda sucks :/

@@myyoutubeacc yes, once you purchase they emailed you a code or you can get the code from the website, then on origin you go to redeem code and type it in, for me high school pack is £22.99 instead of £32.99 (Based on U.K. website) then obviously after time it goes down even more, I’ve always purchased my games on their as it’s cheaper, and reliable! The high school pack is preorder atm, so I’m going to wait until it comes out to see if it gets cheaper but it’s a gamble if it does
