It depends. Some I can wear right off the rack and some I have to tailor. When I’m lazy I normally just do the shoe string style hack so that the pants fit my waist perfectly. It’s funny you ask because I am currently working on a video where I discuss this in detail. It should be out this Sunday.

I cannot get pass the denim bralette you have on by fubu. I know you shop in the men’s section for trousers but how do you know your size? And I do have hips so it always looks a bit frumpy on me so these tips have inspired me to go out and give this style another shot! 🥰
Yes the denim bralette is a whole VIBE‼️ I can’t wait until it gets warmer to REALLY style it up. 😎 I almost always try on my trousers before leaving the thrift store. I always size up to make room for my big legs as well as my big butt. Often times when I size up the trousers do not fit at the waist. I normally do the style hack where you use the shoe string to customize the trousers to your waist. If they are way too big; in case of the yellow trousers, I will take them to the tailor to get them taken in.
There is no true difference between trousers and men’s suit pants. The tailoring is according to your body and how you want them to fit. I normally take in my waist only, but again it depends on your body.

I do have one quick question. I am curious to know what size pants you wear in men's? I wear the same clothing size as you but I never considered buying men's pants. Genius!
Welcome to the FAM👑👋🏾‼️ To be honest, I’m not sure of the exact size because I don’t focus on the size when I am thrifting. I try to focus on the overall fit. If I had to guess I’d say that on average I’d wear a size 36. However, my suggestion would be to try them on and not focus on the size.
Loved this video!!! I typically go to the Park Avenue Thrift in Lawrenceville. Never been lucky enough to find the jewels you find!! Not sure if these pieces were from there though.

No I haven’t thrifted at that location. I’m located in Smyrna and that would be too far of a drive to make. If I’m ever out that way I’d definitely stop in.
Oh Lord, even here I am not safe from the Roll tide. A co-worker that all I hear from behind me "Roll Tide" and she even one time dressed my desk with some knick knacks. LOL! I have so much been trying to find a bold color trousers with the right weight and with the relax fit of pleated front and straight legs (wide) or a shorted length taper legs and have not found anything that checks off my wishlist. I have thrifted from the men's rack a few beiges, browns, and greys but not even finding navy. I want like cobalt blue, the bold yellow, Kelly green, and even red but it been a no go searching the racks for women and men. I will be chunky platforms, wedges, and men thick sole sandal this warm season (when warm temps decide to stick around) because this should be more comforting to me as footwear (other than tennis shoes) as I try to adjust to wearing heels again after injuring my foot in 2020.
