Crazy theory: 22 is Edna mode. She is punctual, extroverted, annoying, and loves to create the suit because she loves the supers ie watching other people fulfil their passions.
Fun fact: in the original script, Joe was going to take the job as a music teacher at the end of the movie and 22 would later on become a student of his, which they were going to hint that joe remembered them from someone.
From the moment the movie ended and we weren’t shown who 22 became, I automatically thought it was Riley from Inside Out. Dead give away is the way that Inside Out begins with Riley opening her eyes for the first time. Another clue is that 22 looooved pizza as Joe, Riley loves pizza and was horrified when she seen that SF puts broccoli on it, which the broccoli pizza made an appearance in Soul. Another clue that would kind of explain why Riley’s emotions (even though a theory video has been made) were multi-gendered unlike anyone else’s emotions in the movie, possibly because Riley’s soul (22) experienced being inside a male body, possibly feels those emotions from a males perspective? Also, both movies were directed by Pete Docter! I was quite shocked that Riley didn’t make the cut for this video, totally threw me a curve ball on this one 😅
@foxquee They explained in the video that just because half the earth is facing the portal, it doesn't mean that's where the souls are necessarily going.
Wrong universe and wrong tine. 22 landed in Joe's universe with no supers. Also, Edna would have been born in the 20s or earlier to be an old woman by the time the Incredibles happened.
@@chimp5411 I have to disagree with that analysis that time doesn't mean anything. Time might not technically flow in the great before, but causality between the before and the zone is consistent. 22 knew the hippies and messed with the artists in real time. that means time might not flow consistently, but it does flow in one direction. Therefore, there is no real way that she would be born back in time.
@@Benjamin1986980 actually if you look at where 22 lands on the earth it's the afternoon but when Joe goes back into his body in about the same time he left if time were going forward this wouldn't happen because 22 is in Asia and Joe is in America
Actually, that's a good point. If you think about it, that would be so sad for someone like that, who came to realize earth is "great" and being alive would be worth it. I dont think Pixar would do that to its own character, would it?
I think 22's future identity has already shown itself in the movie as Connie. When 22 is in Joe's body and she talks to Connie, 22 remarks that they share a lot of similar ideas and have the same personality. It's like Connie is having spirit deja vu. 22 also remarks by the end of the film that she enjoys jazz among many other things. Kinda cool if you think that the universe put 22 inside Connie so that Joe could still be her mentor, and they could still see each other on earth.
One interesting bit about Soul is how it fits into Inside Out. Note that there are six pieces of an incomplete earth pass and five of those pieces are colored yellow, blue, green, red and purple. Does that sound familiar? Yes! Those are the colors of each emotion in Inside Out! So it appears that in The Great Before your soul has characteristics that become the personalities of each emotion which explains why emotions have different features in a young individual. Presumably, when a soul enters a body, it splits into the different emotions with those specific characteristics. Later as that individual grows, their emotions become unique to only that individual.
What if 22 became Riley. I mean maybe the personality is different but the fact that the badge have the colors of the emotions and there was a movie about it, it could be a clue. Or I could be wrong idk 🤷🏻♀️. It could be a little Easter egg or something 🤔
It’s Ellie from “Up”. From the moment Carl met her, she was living her life with immense fascination and love for travel, and nature, which fits in perfectly with the traits of 22.
22 could be alberto from luca as he collects lots of stuff, he is extroverted, he is here to enjoy life and he enjoys seeing luca discovering for example. he can be pretty sinical (especially when he is betrayed)
If 22 does end up being Wall-E, then that’s actually really sad. The whole reason 22 wanted to go to Earth was so she could live the life that she experienced in Joe’s body - eating pizza, enjoying music, etc. However, when she finally gets there, she finds that she can’t, because humans have destroyed the planet and there’s no hope for Earth. Imagine how heartbroken she would be. Maybe that’s why she collects all those souvenirs, so she would be able to live the life she had dreamed of as much as possible. Then again, she wouldn’t be able to remember anything from the Great Before and her time with Joe, so maybe she wouldn’t be doing this consciously. Maybe 22’s soul would do all these things subconsciously because while Wall-E wouldn’t remember anything, his soul, 22, would. Edit: God, can everyone please stop saying, “Oh there’s no way 22 could be Wall-E” in the replies. If you want to criticize the theory, tell that to SuperCarlinBrothers, not me! I’m not the one who came up the the theory.
it takes place in 2000's and soul takes place in 2020 and thats when 22 finally came to earth, so no. it could be, if it took place in 2020 instead of 2000's
While that's true, it's shown that there are specific things that give *fuel* to the spark. Certain behaviors or objects or habits - that's why they go to The Hall of Everything. If it were purely philosophical, they would just have conversations with the mentors instead of looking for specific things to light up the badge.
The spark sounds more like a passion or desire for life. Without that desire to "do" or "act", you won't take birth to act out your desires. Of course 22 had a "desire" to be left alone and do nothing, so this other Earthly desire can be compared to a materialistic desire. It's almost as if you aren't allowed to just do nothing, that the nature of the soul is to be active and learn through experiences. Sounds similar to some of the teachings found in Hinduism and partially Buddhism.
Thank you!! The movie clarifies this at the end too... Well, they at least mention that is not a meaning or purpose. And how can a seed be a purpose? 22 didn't know anything else about it or what our would become so it's not like it's a spark for gardening or something. The spark is what makes you WANT to live. Something that finally hits the "I gotta find out more" button lol.
I think that 22 is Walt Disney, meaning that “every” Disney main character is 22. I think this because Disney has always strived to be able to create something that appeals to the majority of people, and that they used 22 to show that you can become anything you want to be if your willing to explore new things
Honestly, I just like the idea that 22 becomes a really skilled and successful mental health professional that saves numerous lives, teaches people to deal with whatever they’re struggling with, and helps countless people, not just their patients.
@@theREALsilviautism Maybe? Baymax is a robot like vision is a robot and you can definitely say that vision has a soul. Both characters care for their friends and family. You can say that baymax was programmed to do so, but vision was also programmed by Tony and Bruce. So yeah
I have two additions to the list: 1. Riley from inside out. Her emotions are both male and female, possibly because her soul spent time in a male body and has experienced emotions from both perspectives. (Side note: do emotions have souls, or are they just PARTS of souls?) She loves pizza, much like 22, and hates broccoli pizza, which is shown in the Hall of Everything. She is moody, cynical and punctual and lives in the moment. 2. Edna Mode from the Incredibles. Moody, punctual cynic? Check! Entire life purpose is making sure other people (supers) achieve their best selves? Check!
When he first mentioned Wall E my first thought wasn't "does he have a soul?" It was "How would we go about applying 22's characteristics to a non-talking robot?"
@@wyverntail1811 not exactly true, main character(idr his name) wanted to leave but couldn't, true it's a consent in sorts but it's only come once they find something that give them the will to live
I think it’s pretty clear that 22 is Riley from Inside Out. Cynical? Check. Moody? Literally the whole movie is about her moods trying to sort themselves out. Punctual? Well, she pretty much immediately set up a pretty solid plan to run away from home once Anger gave her the idea. Plus the very first thing we see in the movie is a spirit enhabiting her body, and we watch 22 split into the different emotions the first time she eats pizza. And while you might think that Hockey is Riley’s spark, it’s actually pretty well explained that Hockey was something she decided to specialise in after receiving a core memory, not a spark, similar to how Joe specialised in Jazz after watching that one guy play
Soul happened after 2016. While Inside Out took place in 2015 and that year Riley was 11 years old, So Riley was born in 2004. So 22 wasn't born as Riley
@@brennar928 Joe could probably know- but she wouldn’t. It would be like the end of something like Jumanji or Tenet- where the main character meets the side character at the end. Alan meets Judy and Peter and they don’t remember him, and Neil tells the Protagonist that they actually will have an incredible Friendship- but when the Protagonist eventually meets Neil again in the future, Neil’s younger self won’t know who he is. Essentially- Joe gets this happy, feel good moment and a chance to guide 22, while she just meets a new friend.
I love all the speculations. We don’t know who 22 would be, but we do know she would enjoy life to the fullest. We don’t need to know more, it’s a perfect ending.
Soul question: Why is the cat still alive? The cat's soul got pushed out and replaced by Joe's. Then, we watch the cat's soul move up the conveyor belt toward the great beyond. By the end of the movie, Joe gets his body back, and so does the cat? Assuming that the cat went to the great beyond, did the cat's soul really come back? Or, did another soul inhabit the cat's body (human or cat)?
Remember Terry being very meticulous about his job.. my guess is that he knows that the count is still off... He must've noticed that when the cat got pushed in the great beyond the count got restored but that missing soul is still out there.... Think about it.. when Joe got back to the great beyond thing the count should've been off again cause the count would show one extra soul.. the cat... But we don't see that happening... So my guess is that Terry must've returned the cat's soul back when Joe came out of it's body
22 wasn’t described as being punctual because of how they behave in the Great Before, she was assigned that trait remember? Nobody chooses their personality, all the Gerry’s assign them to u
I'd like to point out that at the end of WALL-E when EVE kisses him to restore his memories (and thus, his soul, I guess), that kiss is represented by a spark. So there's definitely something to that.
Imagine if 22 became forky from toy story and that’s why he has the crisis because 22 knows what it is to be alive and stuff? Idk just spitballing but that’s be a cool theory to be fleshed out
When mentioned in the movie that Joe had a friend whom he liked and possibly could love I liked the idea that 22 could possibly be Joes future child. Especially since the great before isn't like anywhere in time
exactly, with how obscure that person is otherwise, ii feel like its a hint or foreshadowing. i was surprised and annoyed to not see a black fade/flash to the end of them holding a moody baby girl that's obviously 22 but its not directly said. that kinda ruined the end for me and made me disappointed in the entire movie and creators even tho I still enjoyed it.
As I absolutely love this theory, I feel like there's some holes in it. Yes there's no time in the Great Before, she eventually went down before Joe. Joe resumed his life right after she went down to earth to be born and where she was being pulled to wasnt anywhere in the states where Joe lived in New York. Again not trying to correct anybody, I'd absolutely love to see this happen. I just think it's a stretch in the theory, but this is why we all love theories❣ Edit:Sorry I went all logical there I just love having these conversations
I have a theory: can a plant have a soul too? I can’t help but wonder, what if WALL·E’s plant gained the will to live through interaction from himself or the humans. Think about it, once the humans started taking care of it, this plant that was falling apart, was able to grow into a full-sized tree. Just a thought
Plants don't have souls, they're just plants. And all plants are like that, then they're taken care of, they flourish, when they are abandoned, they die out. Pretty much basic plant 101
@@queenperrytheplatypus458 that is not the point. In the pixar theory, humans can push soul power into other creatures and items like pets and toys, just by interacting with them. I just wondered if a random desk lamp possesses a soul, maybe the same concept was possible with a plant.
@Queen Perry The Platypus Actually, there's some research that plants and trees interconnected with root underground share a certain nerve system, and they communicate as well. Take the Venus Flytrap for example
@@hijabiart8653 the movie itself explains that the spark isn’t necessarily a passion. It’s more than obvious that her spark was actually witnessing real things and not the ones they showed her in the great before.
One thing I didn’t like is how the claim was made that a spark has a purpose. It was made super clear that the spark isn’t just the person’s passion. It is the soul finding excitement in life. A spark that can lead to anything. It is the soul realizing that anything in life can provide meaning to it. I think the personality traits that would influence the person they become. The spark just ensures that they understand why they exist
That was a huge point in the movie! Joe THOUGHT that’s what a spark was, until he was told that a spark was a passion for life itself, not just on thing! You weren’t meant to like what he said 😂
I think it's the personality/gender 22 chose for herself. But that wouldn't prevent her/them from being born in a male presenting body or a machine. So... Just a thought 🙃
@@charly2271 yeah because she/they could be trans but it's also possible that 22 is non-binary and goes by all pronouns but I would assume it's probably she/they or she/her
Considering they made a soul an manipulative megomaniac, and are like "oops but it ain't our problem" could suggest that when they put a soul in the wrong body, they don't care
I honestly think that 22 was only referred to as she/her was because they had a feminine voice, which they even admitted at some point was just a random decision they made and they could have easily had a male voice
@@sam4gaming135 exactly. and we watch stuff like this as its normal, but when we think of it with real people we forget and shun them. ironic.. lol but yeah they didn't seem to care that 22 was in the dudes body, they cared that the dude was still alive and his soul not going to the beyond cuz of THE COUNT. and that's literally it. the jerries didn't care so much as terry (?) did. finally they decided to rebel against the spoiled terry and say what ever this is our little secret haha! , they also probably don't think the human body should define you, the person, mind, ego, soul etc, because you =/= not your body. (unless you decide such for yourself, alone.) because they know there is more. humans don't but should..
I just wanted to point out that the whole "cooking isn't 22's spark" point doesn't actually matter since (at least how I interpreted it) the movie seemed to suggest all sparks are the same. It's not a purpose in life it's more of a want to live. Again, I could have just completely misinterpreted what Jerry was saying, but I don't think the fact that Colette is a chef means anything in this case. Though with that being said, it's definitely Wall-E.
OMG THANK YOU!! Every single video about this is like, "22's purpose is bleh bleh bleh" but like... They state *in the movie* that the Spark is you wanting to live

I think I like Ellie as the best candidate. It feels even more special having that extra part of getting to know who she was before and I think it fits perfectly 💕
And it's cute to think that because she came when she did, she got to be with Carl. If she had come earlier like she was "supposed to", they would have missed each-other, maybe?
Possibly! But also could be a guy or something else. They just choose to sound like a middle-aged white woman because they think that voice annoys others the most.
Or she becomes the cat since his soul was taken out and also souls can land at any point in time, so maybe 22 landed in the cats body the moment it was removed
The first time I saw the movie I thought to myself that 22’s personality resembled Ellie’s so much. Their have the same thrill for nature and adventure. They are both very outgoing but very punctual.
@@Deewavey Yes! Also, she's very loud and obnoxious, but very charismatic and has the ability to enthrall anyone listening. Also, they all clearly identify 22 as a she throughout the entire movie, so despite souls being "genderless," 22 is not, so I do think it matters for her.
22 is Riley from inside out. It makes sense because at the end riley's "boyfriend" like music and whatnot. Therefore riley's passion is inspired to be music by him. Also, they are a lot alike with the traits or whatever they are called.
My theory: 22 became Frank from Up. 22's struggle is learning who she is and accepting life. Her spark is just living with joy. Carl's struggle is loosing/regaining his spark and dealing with death. Aside from similar character traits, the films feel like thematic counterparts
I want 22 to be herself. If she must be a previously seen character, then she’s either Riley, because Soul is a direct sibling to Inside Out, or she’s Merida. Because of the Pixar Theory, 22’s personality, and the little seed pod that I believe was her spark. It’s nature and just gave me super Merida vibes.
Remember that 22 doesn't really have a gender. They may "sound" female, but souls can sound whatever way they want. Once they are born, they could be a man, a woman, anything.
Ok it HAS to be Riley! I didn’t even think of that!! We see that Riley has different gendered emotions, hence showing that they are not necessarily a girl. Maybe 22 is hammering home this fact in the fact that they say that they don’t really have a gender yet. And if they are sister movies, this makes even more sense. We don’t really see TOO much about Riley, because it’s mostly what’s going on in their head that’s focused on, but it makes perfect sense that 22 would be Riley.
Okay but I kinda think 22 could be Edna Mode. Moody, Cynical and very much punctual. Not to mention she doesn't spend her life dreaming, but actively living her dream.
I thought that was just 22's? I thought the point was that the spark could be anything but they don't bring one true purpose (then again, I've only seen the movie once so I could be wrong)
@@clancytkmru8527 the "spark' is just the thing that sets off your will to live so to speak. 22 just couldn't find that will to live in the great before, she needed to experience actual living before she gained the will to live. If that makes sense
22 is Riley people because Riley is all those things as she learns how to grow up and when she is moody she plans to run away. When 22 is moody she turns into a depressed monster in "the zone". Riley likes pizza so does 22.
the first character i thought of was merida from brave, i dont know if merida is all that puntual but she sees the life different from her parents, she is kind of cynical too, and she is some times reckless, i think merida's personality match pretty well with 22, also she doesn't want to follow the rules and wants to know the reason behind the stuff her elders told her to do, as 22 they dont want to just blindly follow the rules, they want to know why they are forced to do things they do not find meaning to.
Why would anyone know he is in the hospital? His accident just happened that day, assumably a few hours ago. He’s not married, he doesn’t have kids. If someone checked his phone they might find his mom, but if the phone is locked how would they call anyone?
I dont know why they didnt know who he was but the first the the doctor asks the nurse as she walks in is if theyve had any luck finding his next of kin. I came back here five months later just to say I think 22 doesn't become a person, monster, machine, or anything else that's been guessed. What makes the most sense to me is that 22 is the will-o'-the-wisps from Brave. 22's whole MO in Soul was helping other people find their spark and the will-o'-the-wisps lead people to their fate. And they're shown to have a personality and, right at the end of the movie, even a little bit of a mischievous side.
That makes no sense. Will o the wisps are not souls. They are sprites and nature spirits guarding the forests guiding lost people. They are not incarnations. Plus Brave was like medieval times and 22 was incarnating into “modern” times
I thing a lot of people misunderstood the spark thing. They seem to be under the impression that sparks are their passion, that some hobby becomes their sparks when the movie was very clear that spark are just the moment they decide they want to live. I mean it was a whole theme of the movie right ? That we don't have predetermined purposes, that we have to choose that on our own. That's why 22 had such a struggle, because all her mentors tried to share their passion while all she needed was to ease her insecurities.
@@keerya4179 I mean to be fair up until the end they keep egging you on that's what a spark is and once its in your mind its hard to get rid of also we've used that term in that way for a while now.
Thats exactly what I thought at the end. That her spark was life or enjoying life. That's why she couldn't find it in the hall of everything. Is because you can't experience life there.
@@Andrew-qs2gz What they meant was all sparks are just the will to live. That anything can give you the spark because it's just the desire to be born. 22 couldn't find her spark because she was scared and insecure. The unknow scared her and she felt broken because all her mentors told her to find her purpose but she couldn't (because that's not what the spark is all about) hence why she didn't felt ready to live at all. Once on earth she could forgot about all that and experiencing Joe's life made her want to live too.
Theory: 22 might be Priya. We don’t know if she’s lived in Canada all of her life. She could’ve originally have been born in India and moved later in her life. That’s where it looked like 22 landed.
remember that the movie turning red takes place in the early 2000's? they used "jokia" phones, and in the movie soul, all the people use smartphones. so that can't be possible, because soul takes place in 2020, not early 2000's
Ellie is awesome it would make sense for 22 to be her because of how much she loves the little things and she’s a scrapbooker. 22 is definitely a scrapbooker.
22 could have been the reason that Ellie wasn’t pregnant! All the Soups could have had pre-determined parents, but dodging the parents, she would get new parents pre-determined in the future!
I think its Vanelope von Schweetz: She is sassy and full of emotions, she's got kinda the same bucktoothed smile as 22, and the chocolate in the movie may be a reference to Sugar Rush Just a theory
Another great argument for Ellie being 22 is that one huge feature of 22 in soul form is her tooth which prominently sticks out. Now of course she can change her face but she tends to stick to the one with the one single tooth out. Now if she were to be born she might've been so used to her face that she decided to keep that feature with her, which is why, when we see young Ellie, she has a bucktooth like grin. Just a guess though please dont hate lol
I'm shocked you aren't saying it's possible 22 is all of those characters. I don't know if the timing works out for 22 to be Ellie, who dies, then he becomes Russell. But the same kind of logic could even apply to Andy and Woody -- Andy likes collecting things (toys, obvs) and then when he gives up that passion, he could very well lose his soul and 22 could somehow end up in Woody. Maybe 22 is in every single PIxar movie.
I think she becomes Elastigirl. Punctual: "when you asked what I was doing tonight, I didn't realize you'd actually forgotten...cutting it a little close, don't you think?" etc. Extroverted: Definitely. Cynical: She's certainly got a sarcastic bent. And as for jazzing? Well, that's just another way to be more...flexible.

Unrelated to who they become, but I'd like to think that 22 was one of the first souls created, as evident in the relatively very low number compared to the other new souls.

It seems like everyone forgot something. Your spark isn't your purpose in life, you get your spark when you're ready to come to life. It's not something to live to do, you're just ready for life. That's why Joe was willing to give 22 back their Earth pass, he'd figured that out. 22 could've found purpose in life through anything, they could've become a baker, or a mental healther worker, anything that they discovered an interest in during their life. My question is, what took 22 so long to be ready, what does it mean to be ready to come to life? I think 22's future identity has already shown itself in the movie as Connie. When 22 is in Joe's body and she talks to Connie, 22 remarks that they share a lot of similar ideas and have the same personality. It's like Connie is having spirit deja vu. 22 also remarks by the end of the film that she enjoys jazz among many other things.
You should do a video on that.
What if 22 became Riley. I mean maybe the personality is different but the fact that the badge have the colors of the emotions and there was a movie about it, it could be a clue. Or I could be wrong idk 🤷🏻♀️. It could be a little Easter egg or something 🤔

I kinda thought it was gonna be Guilia, but Alberto fits so well!
Yeah it might be
But 22 is born in Asia. Not Italy

You're getting 1 big thing wrong. A soul's spark isn't their purpose. It's just their desire to be alive
While that's true, it's shown that there are specific things that give *fuel* to the spark. Certain behaviors or objects or habits - that's why they go to The Hall of Everything. If it were purely philosophical, they would just have conversations with the mentors instead of looking for specific things to light up the badge.
yeah I kept saying "He didn't get the movie, did he?"
The all spark is the history of transformers here on ea-
Oh wait...sorry, wrong spark.

@@Unwatered_Plant didn’t they say in the movie that sparks don’t work that way
the first character i thought of was merida from brave, i dont know if merida is all that puntual but she sees the life different from her parents, she is kind of cynical too, and she is some times reckless, i think merida's personality match pretty well with 22, also she doesn't want to follow the rules and wants to know the reason behind the stuff her elders told her to do, as 22 they dont want to just blindly follow the rules, they want to know why they are forced to do things they do not find meaning to.
My first question after seeing the movie was: “Why didn’t anybody know that Joe was in the hospital?” And then the 22 question. Haha.
Why would anyone know he is in the hospital? His accident just happened that day, assumably a few hours ago. He’s not married, he doesn’t have kids. If someone checked his phone they might find his mom, but if the phone is locked how would they call anyone?
@@Kangakool theres usually an emergency contact number which i guess would be his mom
@@karolinapupi19977 Thats to only call 911 cause, I tried to call my mom from that -,-
I dont know why they didnt know who he was but the first the the doctor asks the nurse as she walks in is if theyve had any luck finding his next of kin. He must not have had any ID on him or lost it in the sewer when he fell. Thats why no one came to the hospital. They didnt know who he was so there was no one to call.
@@karolinapupi19977 On Android Devices, you can set your phone to show a contact's phone number on the lock screen. Or at least you can on an LG Stylo 4.
And they're shown to have a personality and, right at the end of the movie, even a little bit of a mischievous side.
woah.. I've never heard that theory before but I love it
I 100% believe this now
That makes no sense. Will o the wisps are not souls. They are sprites and nature spirits guarding the forests guiding lost people. They are not incarnations. Plus Brave was like medieval times and 22 was incarnating into “modern” times
What about Coco, she didn’t care that Miguel was playing music, as long as he was following his passion.
Im just imagining him taking the time to reposition his chair every single line
Russel from Up. The symbolism with the badges, excited about “life”, one of the only Asian characters in Pixar.
Ooh good theory
Thanks 😊

You do realise She doesnt have a Spark for enjoying life, the last sticker is for if your ready to live
Yesss good people here! You understand!
Once on earth she could forgot about all that and experiencing Joe's life made her want to live too.
maybe 22 becomes a random person in the pixar universe which we never have seen and never will see
Ben and J should definitely react to the ratatouille musical
yessss!!!
Thought u were bruhify
The what?
The WHAT
The what????
Really liked the Colette or Ellie connection, it just makes sense to me
Theory: 22 might be Priya. We don’t know if she’s lived in Canada all of her life. She could’ve originally have been born in India and moved later in her life. That’s where it looked like 22 landed.
22 went closer to China tho from what I remember
remember that the movie turning red takes place in the early 2000's? they used "jokia" phones, and in the movie soul, all the people use smartphones. so that can't be possible, because soul takes place in 2020, not early 2000's
Ok that Catch 22 joke was absolutely nuts. I think 22 becomes Yossarian
Who is Yossarian?
Who is Yossarian?
yeah i hope most people got that joke
@@jamesthanoob haha he’s the main character of the book Catch 22, not a pixar character or anything!!
When I first saw 22 I thought that they would become Joe's future child
I think if they ever do a sequel, that could very well happen
Everyone seemed to.
When I first watched this with my family, we thought that 22 was going to be one of Joe's students.
I’d like but this has 22 likes
I like to think 22 became Joe himself based on the way time works in the soul world
Ellie is awesome it would make sense for 22 to be her because of how much she loves the little things and she’s a scrapbooker. 22 is definitely a scrapbooker.
22 is not ellie
22 could have been the reason that Ellie wasn’t pregnant! All the Soups could have had pre-determined parents, but dodging the parents, she would get new parents pre-determined in the future!

22 is Riley from inside out. Watch when 22 jumps to earth and when Riley was born. It lines up
I think its Vanelope von Schweetz:
She is sassy and full of emotions, she's got kinda the same bucktoothed smile as 22, and the chocolate in the movie may be a reference to Sugar Rush
Just a theory
WoW cool!
22 = Vanelope
Yep It all matches!

I came up with the same thing! Plus Sugar Rush is an asian game
I think we're looking for a Pixar character though
@@flowersoffrogs oh lol i didnt realize she wasnt pixar oops

Another great argument for Ellie being 22 is that one huge feature of 22 in soul form is her tooth which prominently sticks out. Now of course she can change her face but she tends to stick to the one with the one single tooth out. Now if she were to be born she might've been so used to her face that she decided to keep that feature with her, which is why, when we see young Ellie, she has a bucktooth like grin. Just a guess though please dont hate lol
James Charles: hey sisters!
SuperCarlinBrothers: we dont do that here

Nice

Love this, but I think 22 would fit better with Edna
@@JediDrewsterT something I noticed was the in the hall of everything 22 says while firefighting is “The fire’s so pretty, I kinda want to let it spread!” And while Edna’s showing off Jackjack’s suit she seems uncomfortably excited about it’s heat resistance and shows this to Hellen. Just a thought.

Unrelated to who they become, but I'd like to think that 22 was one of the first souls created, as evident in the relatively very low number compared to the other new souls.
This isn't a theory, this is exactly what the directors wanted to make clear when 22's character was introduced.
He... Is

After the repeated "call Lisa" pushing across the movie, I was expecting him to call lisa and hear 22's voice. Or for a fast foward of after he calls Lisa to him and Lisa with a kid, and the kid has the same face as 22

1. What site that had that information
2. Why it could be a great ending or a bad but its kinda in the middle but why???

I feel like it’d be so sad if 22 became Wall-E. They spend all this time seeing the beauty in the world living as Joe just to be sent to this wasteland. Even if life gets better for Wall-E and they turn that around I still think that’s so sad and ugh
It took them until they experienced actual life, not just the you seminar's recreations, to be ready for it. How have they been the only one to have to experience real life to be ready, how does being ready for life work?
It could be like a leap of faith sort of thing. And 22 wasn't ready to leap yet.
