On our 3rd Holland cruise in March 2024, we saw more kids than we've seen before. They are advertising to younger families now. And it is obvious in the pools and dining venues. We are now looking at riverboat cruises.
What NCL paid to have all of you there to see the Aqua will come back to them ten times! It was very inexpensive advertising and will get information about Aqua and Luna that will get people excited!
Tony, glad you made it home safely ! I'm sure you brought many great memories with you! Thank you for all that you do for us, bringing videos of all the destinations to us.
I thought that the highlight of the Venice trip that we took was taking the boat to the airport. Funny how we also felt like it was a James Bond moment. Anna
Venice is my absolute favorite city in Italy. Sooooo different without all of the cars we’re normally dodging. I hope you can get to Pompeii one day, with your love of history, you’d find it so amazing and interesting.
I've only visited Venice on ships, so during the day ... and it's SO crowded. You can't get to where you want and it's pretty frustrating. I've taken it off my travel list for a while .... maybe with restricting cruise ships it will be more manageable to visit Venice. I'm just back (in May) from a 3 week Rio to Rome cruise and then we spent a week in Rome ... now there's a city I could visit multiple times!
About the Carnival Sunrise (Triumph) it’s a Destiny class ship. I had so much fun on that ship back in the day. Interestingly it was also built at Fincantieri shipyard, where you were a few days ago.
iPhone 14 and above already have the capability to connect to a satellite for an emergency call when you have no cell signal. It would be easy enough to extend that feature. I'm sure the cell carriers would not like that.
Question? Sorry I am late but my Question is, were you briefed before filming on the ship not to take certain pictures of any blue prints that might be exposed or protected info you might see on the tour?
Q:? Did you tour the future kitchens on the Aqua? The roller coaster engineer sounded American. Did you get to chat with him? We are loving your tour vlogs. Please keep them up on all your trips.
Tony, thanks for bring "cruise news for your face". I'm certain I speak for many folks we appreciate your style of commentary. While I have visited Italy many times for business and pleasure. Venice is always flooded when ever I'm near; Still debating whether I would do a land or now sea/port visit. You gave me something to consider🤔🤔
QUESTION: Hi Tony. I love your style and all of your videos. I'm hoping you can help me. We are thinking of taking a 12 day transatlantic cruise from Miami to Southampton on Feb 7 on the Norwegian Breakaway. We want a balcony but would it be too cold to enjoy it? What is your opinion of the Breakaway? I value your opinion! Thanks!
You realize the real purpose of steel toed shoes is, if your foot got smashed by something heavy and immovable, the steel parts would snip your toes off, and it would be easier to remove your foot sans toes from the boot. I don't think the general public has a real need for steel toed shoes.
IMPORTANT QUESTION: Do you need anything else besides a passport to stay a couple days in Rome Italy? Cruising Oct 6 from South Hampton England ending in Rome and staying over two nights. So need to know IF any other documents are needed. Thank you in advance Tony and Jenny 😊
@@LaLidoLoca okay Thank you. I was worried because I know they can refuse to let in you the ship without the proper documentation fir the different countries.
Hi from Switzerland Tony! Love your channel, the newsy stuff and your on-location videos. You just mentioned that you and Jenny were going on the Eurodam still this year. I will be anxious to get „your“ opinion on the ship as we will be doing our bucket list „through the Panama Canal“ on it next April. We did our first cruise 15 yrs ago on HAL, liked it and feel the demographic fits us best, still, now. But I have to refrain from reading negative reviews on cruise critic so that I don`t regret our decision. I realize there are always positive and negative reviews. Loved following the trip to Italy!
Tony, have you considered building and selling your Lego projects to raise money for the benefit of the areas your heart is concerned with? Use your hobby for good.
Although I appreciate your promotional trip to Venice. I understand the marketing impact of this. However, I’m annoyed at NCL. They gave you an expensive trip to Venice to see the Aqua. Meantime, I’m booked and paid for the Bliss on November 24, 2024. They cancelled Ensenada and refused to refund the port fees for Ensenada. Yet, they spend thousands of dollars on your and others free trip to Venice. This is not fair. Port fairs but they refused. Meantime, you who are connected get these benefits.
Well, @timczerniec4043, it looks like you and I aren't good "investments" for NCL ... I don't have a channel or visibility in the industry, and, I assume neither do you. My hubs and I will be on the Joy for 32 days in January/Feb, but haven't been offered anything special .... I'm a Sapphire Latitudes member ... so, there are a few perks, but meh.

Thx for taking us with you!! Very cool
Elation was my very first cruise in 2003. Very fond memories

I just booked the Philly cruise. I'm not much of a joiner, but this cruise ticked a lot of boxes, including doing my first group cruise.
So happy to hear you are " waking up" to Leggos!
What does this mean? Are they bad for the environment?
The closer you're to San Marco the worse it gets, best food & price is better further away.
In excited for the AQUA, we'll be in the sailing from S. Hampton to Boston.

I missed the live but QUESTION: will there still be smaller ships for those of us who like Panorama as the largest ship we are comfortable with?
yes
Those showrooms are not allowed to be filmed because believe it or not people do steal artwork ideas
Question: Long way to travel for just 4 days. Did you wish you could have explored more?
When is your next trip on Mardi Gras??
Like disney rockin roller coater bat WDW?
Where are you going with Don in December?
Question: Aren’t European sizes smaller/different
