I'm currenty literally strapped on to my desk as I'm in the final phase of finishing my PhD thesis, but that doesn't keep me from vicariously living through you guys and pretending I'm doing the trip of my lifetime to the Faroe islands, haha! 😂 What I'm saying is that these videos are not only gorgeously edited, but you all all glowing! You just radiate happiness, which is a delight to watch 😍😍 Keep up the amazing content!

It is officially the best 4 episodes in the whole world about Faroe Islands. Nothing can be more perfect that this. I'm in love with the colors, locations, your kids and literally everything in your video. It's a masterpiece, I'm telling you! I can't find appropriate words to express my thankfulness to you. My grandmother was there for a couple months in 1941. The British established a presence there so the Germans wouldn't. It is the only land in the nearly 2500 miles between Iceland and Scotland so it is easy to see that the whole German navy could slip right past there without being seen. In Torshavn, the women and children would hide from them. They speak an archaic form of Norwegian so surprisingly the only language they could communicate in was Latin!!! There were no airports then. They came there by seaplane but most came by RN warships. The War Dept. gave them Danish Kroner and they dug peats to heat in the wintertime. There wasn't a tree anywhere according to her.
