To anyone confused, here’s a summary... Ahadi and Uru were the parents of Mufasa and Taka (Scar). Ahadi favored Mufasa and abused Taka. Uru was always sympathetic to her son and they had a special connection as Taka loved his mother so very much. Growing up Taka and Mufasa were the best of friends and Mufasa always tried to comfort his brother whenever their father hurt him. Taka obviously started hanging out with the hyenas because they could relate to feeling like an outcast. Concerned for his brother, Mufasa followed Taka when he caught him sneaking out to places he wasn't supposed to be. Due to this, they were put in danger as cubs and the sons of a King who outcasted certain species. Ahadi found them just in time and saved them by fighting off their oppressors. Back at home, he was furious at Taka for endangering the precious and favorite child, Mufasa. As a result, he attacked him, giving his son a scar. From then Taka was called Scar as a humiliating reminder of the failure his father saw him as. When the boys were teenagers, Ahadi kills Uru (I'm not sure why). Scar was infuriated as he lived his mother most of all. Eventually, he convinces the hyenas to kill Ahadi. With great success, his father is dead, but his brother becomes King. As teenagers, Scar and Mufasa both fell for the same girl, Sarabi. Clearly, Mufasa is the final choice and they have Simba years later. At this point, the brothers have grown increasingly farther and farther apart. When Sarabi chose Mufasa, this was the final straw for Scar and he never forgave his brother. From then, they were basically strangers with the same blood. You already know the story from then, but know that Scar did feel bad for killing Mufasa. While it wasn't really touched upon in the movie, Scar was extremely guilty for murdering who was once his best friend who comforted him when their father would be abusive. Mufasa was his friend and brother, his safety net and blood. When Scar killed his father, an unescapable darkness took over him so when he killed his brother, he really didn't know what he was doing. The jealousy and anger he had known his entire life from then on controlled him. And he made some terrible mistakes. While he is known as a villian, remember he was once an innocent and vulnerable boy. A brother, a son, and a friend. I hope this helped!💕
I heard ahadi killed uru because she tried to defend scar from getting attacked but ahadi went crazy and just killed her. Scar and mufasa were both shocked and angry at ahadi. Scar eventually killed ahadi with the help of hyenas by ganging up on him and throwing him off the cliff
@@hayabusa1329yes, that’s perfectly said of that theory. Ahadi would “accidentally” kill Uru out of anger during their fight and argument. Mufasa and Scar would be left devastated of this tragedy and things changed after that. Scar would later inform the hyenas on his plan to kill Ahadi, and they killed him by throwing him off the cliff. Notice that’s the same way Scar also killed Mufasa. However, Uru likely died from old age as her and Ahadi did love each other. From the death of his mother, Scar grew more hateful and felt even more alone now that his mother, his support, his guardian, was gone. From everything that happened in Taka’s life, from being neglected by his father, losing his mother, and his brother dating his first true love, it would drive Scar to eventually grow homicidal tendencies and decides to kill Ahadi with the hyenas help in revenge of being such a horrible father to him. Mufasa was later killed by his brother out of an endless desire for the throne of the pride lands.
I’ve read all of that, and it’s all correct. However, I seem to favor the theory of Uru dying from old age as it seems more accurate. Ahadi was a terrible father, and that would later cost him his life. But he wasn’t as horrible as Zira’s father, Kuzimu, who abused her and actually killed her mother Azola.
Well that was the original theory when they made the lion king but they didn't release it so they could change it for the new one so it would be more realistic and so they could say in the Lion Guard that the snake did it so it was ironic that Kion got bit too
LPS TACO DOG I was just saying that in the Lion Guard it shows that Scar got his scar from a cobra, while in Lion King 2019 it hints that Mufasa gave him his scar whenever he challenged him.
@@joshuat770 it's hard to say because scar and jafar are my favourite villains where would you place jafar and I really like iago he's my favourite sidekick
@@meganpresland1682 The only reason as of now I can think of to put Jafar before Scar is: Jafar being a human was willing and tried to kill Aladdin more than once; and taking a human life is serious. Follow-up film On September 29, 2020, Deadline Hollywood reported that a follow-up film was in development with Barry Jenkins attached to direct. While The Hollywood Reporter said the film would be a prequel about Mufasa during his formative years, Deadline said it would be a sequel centering on both Mufasa's origins and the events after the first film, similar to The Godfather Part II. Jeff Nathanson, the screenwriter for the remake, has reportedly finished a draft. In August 2021, it was reported that Aaron Pierre and Kelvin Harrison Jr. had been cast as Mufasa and Scar respectively.

No, Scar was happy that his brother Mufasa was dead because TAKA/SCAR KILLED HIM, Mufasa did not come back to talk to Scar he came back to talk to Simba
