Depends on caliber. .308’s are the least generally assuming they are stock. One in cgn sold for 7 with a bunch of mags. Another one with 1 mag is now listed for the same. That’s high imo for a basic .308 m78, but they are nice guns and given the limited supply and collect ability they are worth money.
Haha not exactly. The valmet m78 is actually designed to be an improved version of the standard ak47/akm. All ak’s were banned in the early 1990’s here after a mass shooting. The government went though and banned most ‘scary’ looking guns that were popular at the time. I have no idea why the m78 and m88 valmets were exempt, but I am glad they were.
@@armandgun I would suggest that your self and others you know in Canada to try and sell and export to the US. Yall have alot of historical guns that we would love to have and if they are sold back to the government then they will be destroyed and lost forever.
Zach Devine we have more than our fair share of them here too. Unfortunately we don’t have the “right to keep and bear arms” like you do. It’s even easier for them to take ours away
Up here they don’t even have to compensate us if they ban them, nor do they even have to warn us. Further they punish licensed people more then criminals if they commit crimes with a gun, even if we simply forget a piece of paper and a mugger uses a gun in a crime the guy who doesn’t have his paperwork in order gets punished more. ☹️ If you can afford a good lawyer you can definitely reduce such issues significantly but for myself I made multiple duplicates of all my paperwork for my restricted guns and carry my permits for all my restricted guns always to a avoid such issues. (The police aren’t typically looking for trouble unless you are a jerk so it’s not quite as bad as I’m making it out, but......)
@@armandgun yeah, honestly i want a saf 9 with a full stock but they dont make a nr version. it would probably look good with a mock suppressor to cover the extra length. plus the mini version of the saf looks a bit off to me with the fore grip. i like the slightly longer barrel on the standard saf and full stock. but i need a good cottage rifle other than my new valmet lol
I had a saf once. They are really nice shooters. I know of one. You could get it nr’d, but it would be decently expensive. I had a sig 552 classic green nr’d awhile back. It was a cool project.
That bayonet is so dumb; but of course it’s a must have! It’s not so much that it looks cool with it on, (it definitely doesn’t) but it is cool that you have it. (Does that make sense? In any case I love it.)
I've just got one for myself from wolverine. So excited!!!!
mr523592891 so I heard! You got the x39 hey? Great score. Congrats, you’re going to love it.
Know of any more?
This gun has a nice finnish
Your mag appears to be missing a critical component if you know what I mean...
AustinYT no it’s still pinned internally. All my mags are pinned.
No lanyard loop?
I want one of these, what is an original m78 worth? I cant even find one

This rifle are prohibited or none restricted?
Alex Statham this one is non restricted. It’s one of the only types of Ak that’s not prohibited in Canada.
Arm&Gun because ak 47 more strong than m78 and vz58 more militants love ak 47

Arm&Gun Canadians are surprised and excited with Valmet m78 ?

Your lucky you’re in Canada the U.S has a bunch of people that think guns are scary and want them banned.

@@armandgun well, if you're polite about that, yes.
Well _this_ didn't age well...
can you do your famae soon if not next?
Blackdog Gaming hey man, sure I’ll post an overview of the 542, 543, and mini saf in the morning.
@@armandgun thanks, we talked on ista and there's a strong chance i buy a 540 soon
Nice. 543 is just the sbr version of the 540.

I'm sorry you have to get rid of all your guns. You should look into selling to an importer in the US.
