Hi Miranda your beautiful smart and down to earth honest. Thanks for all you do, you make this industry better. I've been trucking for over 30 years leased to a small family owned company. I've always loved trucking but starting to grow a little weary of it, little hard on the health. Take care and keep up the good work!

I liked and subscribed to her channel about 3 or 4 months ago. She is extremely insightful about the markets. And she covers all markets flatbed which I am grateful for. Dry van, reefers the whole shabang. This video was awesome a little bit of insight to who she is and how everything came about. It's funny to listen to this video thinking she thought that the entire thing was one vehicle and that flatbeds did not detach from the tractor. To where she's at now!!

Thank you for sharing Miranda. That was tough for you. I get it. You want to be open and transparent however you need to (or should imo) keep your personal life personal. 23:39 Miranda, thank you so much for sharing your story. Your videos teaching and encourage me a lot. I just started my own company a month ago. I dispatch my self and drive as well. Great video Miranda! Thank you for sharing your story and your experience with us. I enjoyed your story because I came to the trucking business from corporate world as well as accounting and payroll specialist. At that moment I was working with my husband on financial part of his business but never had any experience with dispatch or compliance. Miranda, I've been in this industry since 1989 before the IRP. So many phone calls back then! And today it's internet by phone and or email. I still prefer the simple phone call to do business, And! I find this "by email only" more & more frustrating! We ALL come from 'somewhere' as I have come from also. I'm first generation myself. Keep on asking questions! Like your style survival mode here too. Since Trump left. My temp control set up down from 3.29 rpm to 2.18 currently. Learned I can survive @ 4,600.00 weekly but its much harder now that everything has pretty much tripled in cost whats your bottom per truck weekly just to pay bills

What an incredible and interesting success story. One question came to mind for me as I was watching this. Have you had the opportunity to rise along in the truck and witness the process yourself?
Hi Miranda trucking 25 years and it's hard to imagine how the gov could F Up an entire industry as vital as transportation & commerce. There selling of our jobs cheap. 78 countries around the globe have a lottery system so many thousands men are chosen paid for to come to America to drive a truck and have an opportunity to become a citizen! Pretty cool Now Capacity overcapacity More trucks than loads Is the number one reason Small, independent trucking compindependent contractors and owner-operators. Are being hit the hardest. The onslaught of foreign acontracting through broker's offices as dispatch services no problem intended literally 10,000 of people working from home lounging in their pj's for 150.00 you can learn to become a certified dispatcher And work for hire from the house. It's just amazing how many people with laptops working from home have managed to weasel their way into this industry. The US government is selling off. American trucking jobs. To anyone from around the world, willing to pay that cost for an e two visa It's one of the most blatantly obvious Deceitful And hateful thing unthinkable!
Hi, One discussion between brokers I heard on UA-cam is that because of the massive nationwide warehouse construction boom, rates can be low for a very long time. Why? we are moving away from the "just in time" inventory model because of lack in confidence with China relations among other reasons. Therefore with unlimited nearby warehouse space shippers will no longer be in a hurry to ship, and can have time to wait for the best deals. What do you think? Mick Nationwide reefer driver.
You definitely stand out because you're completely logical and are not ruled by emotions, which many women are in my industry. Did you ever do a video comparing SMLLC's or S/C corporations with a trust fund? I saw videoes stating LLC's are less hassle, but you seem to squeeze the most margin possible for your members. Is it better to outsource some of the S/C corporations taxes? Just curious. I'm not in trucking and a W-2 employee, but plan on starting trucking after retirement. Your husband certainly is lucky.
I really like Miranda and this channel !!! But honestly, People coming to the United States and driving trucks is hurting this industry. I've been in this industry for 25 years as a driver and a dispatcher. Very rarely does an owner operator /driver pickup from us that is american. Most of them can't speak english either. They will show you their phone so you can read the pickup/delivery info. Also, they are working for pennies and living in their trucks. Why is the US giving cdl's to non citizens!? I understand why people want to come here, but the US can't take care of everyone. The trucking boom was created by covid and online shopping. Now that it's over there is not enough work. This industry has too many drivers working for too little money and it's not going to get better. Love channel!
2 companies can be used to bypass many laws with stipulations about number of employees then this law takes effect. like family medical leave law, record keeping for fair employment and housing, etc. not alot of laws have those stipulations where certain amount of employees then a certain law takes effect. but multiple companies as 1 owner may raise some of red flags of try to avoid liability or other legal responsibility that employers would normally do.
@@TruckingMadeSuccessful btw i am not too familiar with insurance laws and regulations and that sort. im more into the employee-employer relationship. but i do want to expand into that catagory, do you mind sharing what specific laws regulating what it is you are refering to? im trying to grow my knowledge. no bad intentions.
I came in 08 and got my citizenship around same time with you, greek-turk-yugoslavian backgorund, you mentioned grade 1-4? how old are you? You meant college grade 1-4?
Lots of fish 🐠 oil my Dear Lady it helps!!!😀 plus walking 🚶♀️!!! Keep up the great work we’re at and inflection point msm is saying no resession people know we been in one for awhile!!! Big 🏦 are pumping out the disinformation Trump would be proud 🥹!!!😂😂😂
I used DAT, and they helped with MC dot. After the first week, they threw me to the wolves. I realized I could have done it all by myself. The fee that they charged wasn't worth it.

It's just amazing how many people with laptops working from home have managed to weasel their way into this industry. The US government is selling off. American trucking jobs. To anyone from around the world, willing to pay that cost for an e two visa It's one of the most blatantly obvious Deceitful And hateful thing unthinkable!
Bravo!
Hi,
One discussion between brokers I heard on UA-cam is that because of the massive nationwide warehouse construction boom, rates can be low for a very long time.
Why? we are moving away from the "just in time" inventory model because of lack in confidence with China relations among other reasons.
Therefore with unlimited nearby warehouse space shippers will no longer be in a hurry to ship, and can have time to wait for the best deals. What do you think?

7:35 had me 😂 same for me
What commercial insurance do you recommend for flat beds?
Thanks
You definitely stand out because you're completely logical and are not ruled by emotions, which many women are in my industry. Did you ever do a video comparing SMLLC's or S/C corporations with a trust fund? I saw videoes stating LLC's are less hassle, but you seem to squeeze the most margin possible for your members. Is it better to outsource some of the S/C corporations taxes? Just curious. I'm not in trucking and a W-2 employee, but plan on starting trucking after retirement. Your husband certainly is lucky.

I am the same way! I will be your friend hahah
There are always trolls. If you love your job, stay in it. Don't worry about what those dummies have to say.
I get that, but that's not why we have two companies as I said in this video
@@TruckingMadeSuccessful btw i am not too familiar with insurance laws and regulations and that sort. im more into the employee-employer relationship.
but i do want to expand into that catagory, do you mind sharing what specific laws regulating what it is you are refering to?

I used DAT, and they helped with MC dot. After the first week, they threw me to the wolves. I realized I could have done it all by myself. The fee that they charged wasn't worth it.
