Hello, Doctor. How's health? The last part of the video regarding the incisors wasn't very clear to me. I imagined that the auxillary wire will cause, intrusion in the front teeth and extrusion of the post. teeth.. but the talk was contrary to expectations. So I didn't get it right.
Thanks a lot for such a rich and informative biomechanic lecture, almost an hour of compressed information, u can not stop for a minute cause ur gonna miss the next point. always following ur lectures and looking forward for more in the future. if i may, i have a question regarding the last mechanic to overcome the lingual tipping as side effect while retracting the front using a segmented cantilever to flare them, the retraction is been done with the power chain attached to the TAD but in the anterior where is it attached ? and after retracting and flaring the upper front we can notice a small amount of opening in the bite ! why did it happen ? thanks a lot for ur effort.

i have a doubt pertaining to three piece intrusion arch,there are helices of cantilevers abutting the molars ensuring the cantilevers doesn't move,the anterior segment has a step ending in a hook for e chain application.when the anterior segment moves there will be a time when this step hits the hook of cantilever hindering the distal movement,does people keep on changing the position of cantilever hooks to facilitate retraction, i do not incorporate helices to ensure that the anterior segments and cantilevers slide smoothly.

The power chain is directly attached to the lateral incisors. As the incisors procline the overbite decreases.

Limit it if the arch is well aligned. In crowded cases it has no effect
