Very cool technique, but this is one of those cases where Ableton does not animate the filter cutoff to show what’s going on… I wonder why, as most graphics are animated when applying modulation. Pretty inconsistent, if you ask me. Thanks for the video, Whitemary ❤

Use Shaper and map to cut off,then you can make your own lfos instead

But please make the Auto Filter's display reflect the sidechain input, internal envelope and LFO! The display only moves when automated or modulated by external device like LFO :(

I love this technique! I also like to use a noise or random LFO to modulate the envelope depth. It adds some very curious and kinetic movement to the filter, really great for Basses and drums.
