- Did I pay too much in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia. In this Malaysia travel vlog I hunt for a Malaysian SIM card on my first day in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia. After some searching a nice Malaysian man in the 7/11 help me out installing and loading the SIM card. My Urdu and Hindi speaking skills help me get the job done. I also go to the Petaling Street KLCC market to buy a travel adapter and some flip flops but I wonder if I payed too much. I run into some nice helpful Malaysian people along the way.

You are in Petaling Street..bargain stuff.. if they ask Rm 100, you need to cut half to Rm 50 then next negotiate how much less from rm 50.

The glue on the flip flop cant withstand water. You can get much more simple, cheaper one for bathroom use at any grocery store
The place where you got the slippers sells fake goods. the street is called Petaling Street alias Chinatown. You should have bargained everything down to 20 percent of the opening price.
Learn to walk away. If you had insisted on 30 ringgit and walked away, there was a good chance that the seller would have called you back and agreed to your price.

The toothpaste that you bought used to be called "darkie" but was changed to "darlie" as darkie is not pc (politically correct)!! You've paid too much in chinatown but it's ok for you it's still cheap cos of the exchange rate. The sandals are not suitable for a wetroom, should get flipflops instead which cost around RM2.

@@myertravels Haha, from his name, most probably he is a keyboard warrior from indonesia. Most netizens from there are full of hatred towards malaysia for no apparent reason. Anything positive about malaysia they will pour their venom. They make toxic, snide comments in order to provoke. Because there are many bangladeshi foreign workers, they say malaysia is overrun and has been taken over by them! He seemed to ignore the fact that there are thousands of indonesians earning a living in malaysia, both legally and illegally and some have died from drowning. This feeling is borne out of envy cos malaysia is more developed/advanced and have better infrastructure.

RM 35 for flip flops ??? ... you got scammed Bro ... they knew you are a foreigner ... better go MR DIY or AEON BIG ... I bought a good quality flip flops to use in my bathroom from AEON BIG for just RM 12
