There are lots of Korean wordplay, so some lines of lyrics might feel awkward, These are some clues that you can understand the song more. 88: GD's birthday is 18.08.1988, So he puts his own meaning on the Number 8. That's why he wrote so many 8s in his lyrics. You can see the Metro map on 2:03, it's a track-list of his up coming album, there are 8 tracks. The last line of lyrics ("Fly high"): The original Korean lyrics' pronunciation is "Pal Pal Nara" (Means fly high). There is a wordplay as well, 'Pal' is 8, same pronunciation, and 'Pal Pal' is kind of onomatopoeia, 'Nara' is Flying, so this line was translated flying high in English. I think the logo is a word from "Übermensch" which he mentioned in the lyrics at the start which I think meant something like a 'superhuman' and attributes of self-determination , creativity and self confidence. One thing I think most people missed is when the lyrics go "My-my name is (called) / G to the D, GOAT, The Living Legend". The part "My name is called" stand out to me. Called, like in a class, or a tribunal, or a plead for help. He is literally saying that he has been called for, all this time, by the police (investigation), the media (celebrity), by fans (legacy)... by everyone. He knows he makes a difference out there. He knows people are always watching him and everything he does. This adds a lot to the metaphor of being in a "Truman Show" thing. Also, the logo at the start seems to me like he is calling the duality of being both Kwon Ji Yong, the person, and GDragon, the artist. Both are always connected, and one can't escape the other. He had a huge impact on me when I was young. I never really cared about K-pop but then I heard GD and I started to get to know his songs. That's how I became a YG stan until now. He's still a legend. When he mentioned 2nd gen in the lyrics, I cried. He was right and i love him so much.

I think the logo is a word from "Übermensch" which he mentioned in the lyrics at the start which I think meant something like a 'superhuman' and attributes of self-determination , creativity and self confidence. This song feels like he's trying to tell us he's confident now and he doesn't care what people say about him and has power himself to do whatever he wants.

One thing I think most people missed is when the lyrics go "My-my name is (called) / G to the D, GOAT, The Living Legend". The part "My name is called" stand out to me. Called, like in a class, or a tribunal, or a plead for help. He is literally saying that he has been called for, all this time, by the police (investigation), the media (celebrity), by fans (legacy)... by everyone. He knows he makes a difference out there. He knows people are always watching him and everything he does. This adds a lot to the metaphor of being in a "Truman Show" thing.
Also, the logo at the start seems to me like he is calling the duality of being both Kwon Ji Yong, the person, and GDragon, the artist. Both are always connected, and one can't escape the other. He is living both in the real world as a person and in the media as an artist, and he's kinda making peace with that!
