Thanks again folks. They all have their advantages and disadvantages. For me I prefer to shoot single actions like a 1911 or a traditional double action in single action mode due to the "surprise" factor when pulling the trigger making it inherently more accurate for me and for Carry especially IWB i prefer the grip safety XD's or something with a heavier double action or traditional double action trigger for the initial first round.
Thank you for such a cogent explanation. The "Double Action" result of pulling the trigger cocks and then releases the hammer, two actions/double action. I like a double action trigger in case I need to back out of the trigger pull when the shot should not be taken and the long heavier pull of a double action pistol may allow that action. Neil, how is your shoulder doing?
Da/sa could be better explained with semi auto pistol such as my ruger p95 or such. This is the only way I carry. First trigger pull is DA. After that 14 more single action triggers follow. No need for cocked and locked. Just one chambered and safety off. I will not own a striker fired pistol. Im just old school. Great job kim. Hot red head
Well, DA/SA can't be 'splained much better than that! Which bolsters the fact that it's the subject and content of GFA's videos that is growing your subscriber base! And the bloopers are a great idea! People love bloopers! They show more of your personality, which can at times be limited by subject and content. But, don't name your kids Blooper, OK? Mama said she was gonna name me that, but the nurse asked her if she knew that it rhymed with Pooper, so she chose a more traditional moniker..... You don't have to share that with anyone, OK?
LOU H. Single is easier to shoot because the trigger is requires less pressure and there is less trigger travel. Depends on your skill and preference. Thanks for watching and commenting
You guys have gr8 videos. I try to watch them all. But the last several months it seems, to my ears, that there is something wrong with the audio 🔉. I can hear the words clearly but the audio is kind of muffled. Not a lot but it's noticeable. Your earlier videos don't have that problem. Again you guys are doing gr8. Laters. 😎
Great Job Kim! Thanks for a very clear explanation. Now Neil... though I know that likely MOST of your viewers are "Fellas" you also have a rapidly growing number of "Gals" that follow you too! I being one. Love you BOTH!
Love the out takes. Good class on double/single action.
Roger Scott thanks Roger
You kids are doing great. Enjoy your videos and all the hard work you are putting in to them! Cheers.
Reality Becomes thank you very much! 👍
Very helpful thanks 😊
Red heads are my fav gun 😂 but on a serious note this was a great explanation and the dude knows what he's saying! Agreed

The video sound quality could be improved by having a mic on her. I am probably the only one concerned about that.
You are not.
i really like this channel but you need a better mic.
Excellent
Single action only is because of the actions of the gun when trigger is pulled so you are so RIGHT

Neil, how is your shoulder doing?
Stephen thanks for asking, I'm doing much better. Out of the sling and trying to slowly build back to normal activities . 👍
That's great! :)
If there was a crowd you could just hear the boos when neil came on 😂😂😂😂
mrgoodbar216 lol! 😂
Oh yeah. Good job neil.

Which action would be better or is it just preference?

Patti Cordeiro thank you so much! 😊👍
They are a adorable couple!
Like that revolver. Appeared to have a smooth trigger pull. Maybe at some point you could do a update on your M&P 2.0?
thanks for watching yes an update is in the works.
If that is a S&W victory model, which it looks like, it will have a very smooth trigger
pull.
Great video as always. However, I would listen to Kim talk about anything. She could make a bag of potato chips seem interesting. 😀
Crabapple Annie thank you! Always great to hear from you 😊
Chips are interesting to some of us!
you are the best .. thank you
Yanel Echemendia Cabrera thank you!
