Totally, in fact they should've released in an album of the dubbed songs online, i'd pay for it, especially since they never did a fully dubbed version of Moon on the Water, But honestly, i was impressed with how the dub handled the changed lyrics of I've Got a Feeling, it honestly sounds like a real Beatles song.
TheEastunder you can actually get the ads for the music to this. The Japanese is the Frank album and Keith is the English cover. I downloaded them a few yrs ago.
This will always be my favorite song of all time beck is the reason i can still play my guitar up intil this day this song just is just so uplifting and makes strive to be a better musician.
@@MrDostoeyevsky he gets a lot of hate due to his unique sounding voice And it's true he's not great in every role Like He sucks in One Piece and as Monokuma But he is fantastic in Pet Girl Beck and so so many others
@@moldylemon1 Actually the english dub is much better in many ways, and of course they changed the lyrics, Koyuki isnt covering a beatles song, he changed it and made it his own, that captures the skills he developed in his efforts of being a musician.
I WAS LOOKING FOR THE DUBBED VERSION OF THIS FOREVER! Definitely one of the most Triumphant moments I witnessed, not just in any anime, but in any visual medium ever.
omg you have no idea how long iv looked for this version... to bad the talk scenes are still in it... and the fading... if there's one without the story talk scenes id like to know. :3
@MaxximumMATT Funimation could not get the rights to sing it completly so with permission from the beatles or something they changed the lyrics around so thats why it does not sound like the song!
@runawaymotor >_> dude. I completely forgot I posted this. And it's like two in the morning. but anyway, I know exactly what monologue you speak of, and what she simply said was, "Taking a song and making it their own." Not that the songs were mixed. Also, Paul does want his money back from the one legged witch. case and point.
@RevolutionaryLoser Sir, Do you know that all those fine hard working people in japan speak japanese? they don't have time to learn english, not to mention their syllables are alot different than ours.
I think the scenes in this video take placer over a couple episodes. I think it's 24 and 25..? Don't hold me to that but it's part of the last few episodes of the anime.
@Ryokan01 What's with the attitude? Calm down dude... Just remove where it says The Beatles wrote this song, and say it's 50c Wisdom, it's a bit misleading (btw. Paul didn't write this song, both John Lennon and Paul McCartney mixed two songs to make I've Got a Feeling)
@Ryokan01 In the original japanese, most of the songs are sung in English. This song is originally a cover from a Beatles song, but they switched it in the english dub.
I'm sorry but this is just a tad bit insulting to the series. It's not bad, but the original is just so much more powerful and it really conveys the emotion and heaviness of the situation. Overall Rating = C
Ok I got to say something. While the singer for the english dub version is obviously much better, you can't ignore the fact that especially in the intro it is very forced and does nothing near what the sub does to capture the magic of the moment. And the flow of the sub is incredible especially watching the show from the beginning all the way until the climax of this moment. Magic. Now while there are especially in the middle some moments where the english dub singer gets into it and the beauty of the moment is captured as it needs to be, it isn't nearly enough. Subbed wins, hands down.
Yeah this dub does nothing to capture my interest, everyone always says the dub is better for this anime but I ask where? not a single one from Beck I've listened to yet has been better in dub, the Japanese sub version of the songs flow better, sound more musical and actually capture my interest, if I had seen the dub first I never would have watched this anime.
The dub feels real. There is no way a garage band busts out a Beatles song with out any practice or set up. Plus the reason it sounds weird is because it's not I've Got A Feeling, it's a mix of I've Got A Feeling and 50 cent Wisdom. It sounds rough and thrown together because it was. It sounds like a song that Koyuki pulled out and used to stall for the rest of the guys.
Considering language barriers are a key point in several parts of the anime and that they weren't legally allowed to touch I've got a feeling in the dubbed version, it had nothing going for it, the songs aren't catchy in this version. And the do not actually feel real, this was a band supposed to be interesting and exciting to listen to, the song they use in place of I've got a feeling would have never drawn a crowd or any real interest.
+Sean T McGinn the reason the English is poor in the original is because it is supposed to be, it's there to demonstrate language barriers but to also demonstrate how English is so heavily intermingled in Japanese culture.
This song was originally a beatles song and was so in the japanese version. This is remake and mix up with the beatles song "i've got a feeling" and the Beat crusaders song "50 Cent Wisdom" There is also another beatles song in there but cant put my finger on it.
@TheFishyOneSKiT There is a large difference. However, covers do not need to stay 100% faithful to the source. Besides, no amount of correctness makes the Engrish any more bearable. The dub is considerably better than the sub in that regard.
@TheFishyOneSKiT Funimation probably couldn't get the rights to the song. Also if the dub does not fit your taste keep it to yourself. Don't insult the voice actors like that cause they work very and for very little pay. And the Japanese dub does sing the right one, but it is off key and with a very bad engrish accent.
@JoeChickenSqueeze Well sir, If they played the real song, Paul McCartney, the guy who WROTE it, would be flippin out trying to get back the money he lost when the evil one legged witch Stole his money. so they couldn't play the english words in the english dub.
@crimsonblade700 It is better though, it has much more emotion transmitted through the voice. This voice is dead just dead. I guess you need to learn more about anime before you can appreciate japanese voices, the instrumentals are also cleaner.
@yankeeboy1865 I know this is really fucking late lol but techinically they would have to pay to the estate of Michael Jackson because he actually owns (not himself but probably his family now) almost all of the beatles songs. Kinda funny actually.

For future reference, yelling "Get off me bitch, I'm in the band!" doesn't work so well. Trust me, I've tried.
Great song :)
Details.
I guess those are the details...
Beck rules no matter what! Best show ever!!!!
This will always be my favorite song of all time beck is the reason i can still play my guitar up intil this day this song just is just so uplifting and makes strive to be a better musician.
I can't express this emotion, due to copyright costs
hehe
“Get off me bitch, I’m in the band!” Man that line always cracks me up.

Greg Ayres actually has the voice of an angel

They were crazy not to do a full version of this song and include it in the DVDs.

I have to come back to this video at least once a year, just hits the heart different
@eggrole7 To be honest, I actually like this better then the Beatles track. Have no idea why, this just feels better to me.
Anyone else picked up their dusty guitars while watching this show?
Love this show!
just released on crunchy roll so i rewatched. Its 1:10 AM and im learning beatles songs. hahahaha hope you're still jammin'!!
Like here if you are still watching in 2023
Beck kicks total ass!! I love this song and his voice is amazing.
great song,great series, awesome comic

hard to believe not many people know this is a rewritten Beatles song..... does a pat on my back when I know I know this song both ways

@RevolutionaryLoser Sir, Do you know that all those fine hard working people in japan speak japanese? they don't have time to learn english, not to mention their syllables are alot different than ours.
why did they changed the lyrics?
Fire Duck Probably licensing issues, since the original is a Beatles song.
TackyRackyComixNEO and the idea that Koyuki decided to cover a popular song with his own lyrics and nailed it live is just badass.
I miss this show, absolutely would make my Sundays
Alrighty then.
I like both versions, the english dub sounds like a cross between Oasis and Social Distortion and I don't mind it at all.
@Artie0HC can you send me the audio for it, i want to put it on my ipod
Sucks that they weren't able to do a Beatles cover.
can someone tell me what episode this is

some of the lyrics are from 50cent wisdom of Beat Crusaders... O_O

What the-- this is not even I've Got a Feeling!
The Japanese version is WAY better...
This is not I've Got a Feeling... it's Beat Crusaders' 50c Wisdom over I've Got a Feeling's verse Chords... lame...
Dub destroyed All The pathos of this scene
nope subbed is better
Japanese version is better WAY BETTER

Lmfao this is so obnoxiousally bad xD
@z3Carlos Well you guess right. If you're gonna do something do it right. I personally feel this version pales in comparison.
Not as good as the non-english dub. Lacks the "feeling" of the original song, and engrish one from the anime.
