    Jack, you debunked the CF myth and the same with the big muscle theory. Will you please do something on ground reaction forces. I’d love to see and hear your thoughts on this “new” idea. Thanks.

    I always thought the speed come from arms and shoulders
    however , most people think it came from fast rotation as they saw the tour players do that all the time !

      Only a few golf teacher through the years got it right. The few who got it right taught that the body is a stabilizer and that clubhead speed comes from arm speed. The majority that got it wrong, believe that body rotation (especially the hips and knees) produced clubhead speed.

    Thanks for the "factual" (observed measurement) analysis of all those spurious claims about where club head speed comes from. Centripetal acceleration as transmitted through the movement of the arms and the "hammer strike" of the trail hand (wrist) coming into and through impact. Moe's heavy clubs just meant more momentum transfer to the ball so he needed a little bit less speed (although he appears to have had plenty) but excellent timing (positional sequence) through the swing. His full name was Maistro Moe Norman? ;)
