I'd love you to first know about Ayush syllabus and you'll see the subjects are same in fact more than MBBS cuz Ayush students study the same subjects considering the modern part as well as the ayurvedic part. The thing is u guys are not really worried about the patients but the rising competition. Ayush students during their 1 year of mandatory internship spend 6 months in Ayurvedic department and 6 months in civil hospitals for allopathic practice and exposure. I'm from Punjab and here allopathic practice is allowed so why can't all the states allow BAMS students to do allopathic practice legally? We definitely love Ayurveda but the main aim of a doctor is to treat the patients and if that requires selling some *BASIC* allopathic medicines during some emergency that's completely fine Lemme tell u, Ayush students also get a lot of clinical exposure and allopathic exposure in Punjab and I believe this should happen in all the states of India.
