Nice, only please redo this video and twist the knobs more gently and more to the point. So if you let the midrange knobs twist, do it slow and leave it a few seconds before twisting it back. Don't be afraid of some crackle...sometimes it stops if you let the sound go on that position.
Why is it that every demo that you put out all sounded better than anything else on UA-cam. I have similar equipment and I could not make it sound even close to yours. I can only hear the full spectrum of your sound thru headphone and not on my system.
I've always been under the impression that vintage Sansui and Marantz we're over rated. I gotta admit , the build quality looks exceptional and I have heard about a Accuphase level Sansui pre since then. They don't build quality like that anymore.
I was using a Shelter 301 Moving Coil Cartridge as the signal was not strong enough, I used a Sony 2000f as a pre booster in the flat position via the aux of Sansui 20000. Yes you were right about the toggle

Probably the rarest amp ever made by Sansui and at 170 w/ch, the most powerful integrated amp on the market. You really do have a nice collection.
The Sansui BA 5000 (300 watts per side) is almost nearly impossible to find.

you get better results using a video camera that has a mic input, get a couple mics and a audio/mic splitter adapter

I don't know what to tell you, other than, I use a video camera and set up a couple mics, one to each speaker. Maybe that's the difference
