Things have _really_ changed at a fundamental level in the last twenty years. I'm thirty-nine and have almost given up hope in getting married and having children. I haven't been in very long relationship for many years, the girl I dated was a nurse and it lasted for three and a half months. She was thirty-three and It ended amicably, but she wasn't interested in kids or marriage. I don't think I would be able to date a girl younger than thirty because they're mostly crazy.

I own my home (no mortgage), car (no note), have retirement savings (401K, Roth IRA, Mutual Funds, even crypto), was married, had kids, got crushed in divorce but rebuilt, I am only 46, have had plenty of women and sex (about 50 women in my life)…so why in the hell would I want to risk my hard earned peace of mind, and the financial security that I alone have suffered and struggled and continue
to stuggle to build…why would I even consider risking it all? No woman on earth has earned even $1 that I have or will ever have. No woman on earth can guarantee NOT to falsely accuse me, NOT to use me, NOT to lie to me, NOT to cheat on me, NOT to try to boss, control, manipulate, nag, complain, or over eat.

Just saw a pageant of high school girls and one got named miss congeniality. The title was given to the girl that raised the most money for "single mothers"! Not single fathers, not single PARENTS. Single moms. Also I was contacted to donate to a church outreach that wanted to give single moms a night out to a fine dinner because they couldn't afford it. I was like wow i bet there would never be an outreach like that for single fathers.

My Wife said that many times, the former-husbands will spin their former mates 180-degrees at their doorstep, whack them on their fannies, and send them back to their chosen life-style.

Do you remember when you were growing up how your dad always spent time in his garage tinkering away "fixing" his car or using his power tools building something? This is why. I can't give that up. This means if I did ever get in the dating world again the women would have to bring a lot of value into my life for me to trade in my peace & quiet.
At my age (28) i wont consider a relationship anymore, not with a woman my age. Most women my age have kids, double digit body counts or both. Three of my happily married friends met their wives either in, or fresh out of high school. Two of them are 4 years older. They asked me why i don't have a girlfriend. I am about 30 minutes and my major takeaways are that women don't care about what happens to men unless it is their son and that women are self serving and don't think of leaving a legacy. In the case of the former, I disagree. There are some women so dedicated to their way of thinking they don't even care when it is their sons. What I have learned from the former is that I will never meet a woman who cares about me because I am not her son. In the case of the latter, there is no point in trying to plan a future with a woman be cause she is so self serving that she doesn't think about the future.

What it did was force a two income family by decreasing wages and increasing the price of everything. Most notably the insane cost of housing these days. On top of this is an increase in immigration which exacerbates the problem. On the other hand, certain individuals and elite groups are benefiting from all this enormously. The idea behind the rest is to keep women interested in working, and offering them as many jobs that are available and that they are willing to do. The low birth rate is compensated for by immigration to fill low paid jobs of which lowers wages, all round, once again, and creates more customers and increases income tax (and other tax) revenue.

I think we get fed a lot of garbage that push us off course on our priorities. Women and employment isn't necessarily the problem, priorities are the problem. This trophy garbage really needs to go away and college education needs to be changed and not so much prioritized.
Since corporations are now government proxies in "equalizing pay" the obvious solution for men is to avoid working for corporations. Select a field where there are few or no women such as the trades, engineering, computer science, etc. Those fields pay well because they are in demand and few women want to do them.
