The absolutely ONLY anointing we should be seeking for ourselves, is anointing to empower us be a blessing to other people(salvation for the lost,healings for the sick,encouragement for the depressed/down-and-outs/imprisoned,practicle helps for young children/the physically poor or disabled/the elderly), ALL FOR the Lord’s glory!!!
If a person needs/wants money, go WORK for it! We are commanded to work! Gambling for money is not work. If your looking for anointing, just to better and prosper yourself, then that is just plain greed, that is looking to serve money over The Lord.
What does the Bible say about not eating if you dont work?
For even when we were with you, we gave you this rule: "If a man will not work, he shall not eat." We hear that some among you are idle. They are not busy; they are busybodies. Such people we command and urge in the Lord Jesus Christ to settle down and earn the bread they eat.
Ephesians 4:28
Let the thief no longer steal, but rather let him labor, doing honest work with his own hands, so that he may have something to share with anyone in need.
Luke 16:13
No servant can serve two masters, for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and money.
