@@pastordanielsministry All the church images of the congregation, the people rolling in the floor, they seem more to be behaving as we've seen for decades with the likes of Benny Hinn... I think with all the TV influence over the last 100yrs people don't have a clear understanding of "possession" and spirits are, its all been dramatized.
So we get these congregations full of people ready to roll in the isles and scream and cry and be "comforted" with attention... Meanwhile, the real evil lurks in the shadows...
Then you have the one man that approaches the street preacher... from my own experience, I would say that man is clearly walking in slavery to a demon...

I’m posses and don’t know what to do
I have a few questions, I’ll start by saying that I’ve always been a decently devout Christian. But I am only 25 so I am full of ignorance and curiosity, over the course of the last few years (and especially lately, I have been trying to walk with God in my own way, I’ve decided that me learning the world around me, is learning the world He created. To me it’s the best way to try to understand, seek and worship Him. My questions stem from this video.
1.) are there signs to look out for to know if you or people around you are possessed or oppressed?
And 2.) As I’ve been studying Christianity, I’ve learned there are many false teachers and prophets. And many falsities dwelling within many churches. To that extent I usually refrain from attending. However, I’ve always wandered how exorcisms works and why they almost always seem to be put on as a show?
3.) if I were wanting to talk with someone to know if I have any attachments or anyone around me, how can I attain the levels of discernment that is required to not fall subject to the deceptions of the enemy?

Hi my friend, good questions. I'll answer in the same order.
1. Just to clarify Christians can not be "possessed" by a demon. We have God in us. He who is in us is greater than he who is in the world. However, Christians can be oppressed by demonic influences. That oppression and possession can come in many firms. Sickness, a cold, anger, lying, disunity, cheating, adultery, any form of sin has some demonic influence behind it. It's not only when people are shaking and screaming but it is often in other ways mentioned.
2. I'm sorry you feel this way. Although there are a lot of false teachers and churches but it is your calling to be a member, attend, serve, love the church. Christ died for the church so that you can be with the body of christ, to submit to leaders, to attend bible study, to hear the word of God preached every Sunday faithfully, to sing praises with other believers. You will never grow to maturity unless you commit yourself to a good church and the church won't be all that it can be without you. 3. You have to be in the Word of God every single day. Reading it, meditating on it (filling your mind with it), memorizing it, hearing it preached, studying it etc. This is the only way you will properly discern God's truth.
