CHP Hospice Patient Care Fund

As a nonprofit, community-based hospice, CHP Home Care & Hospice offers a patient care fund to help ensure timely care to patients and families. Hospice care is covered by Medicare, Medicaid, and most insurance plans. However, patients often find themselves with financial and coverage deficiencies.
A patient may have to quit their job due to illness and lose their insurance. Patients may have to wait on authorization from insurance, but their needs can’t wait. Each year, the CHP Patient Care Fund pays for hundreds of thousands of dollars in patient care expenses throughout our service area.
