It's been years since I've seen a horse pumped that hard at the bell dropping from 9:2 to 5:2. The smart money came in right at the bell on Major Hill.
They do it all the time, seem like someone is better as race is going on.

The accidents are worse, than horses running without the carriages...
Trotters and pacers don't run as fast as the thoroughbreds.

You should had seen what accidents look like with multiple Trotters, unable to get up and stuck when more carriages run into each other.
A crew of men have to help those stuck horses that cannot get up on their own.
@@parkerbohnn yeah Standardbreds are very hearty horses. Plus horses have pulled chariots and carriages fully-loaded back in the day.
