You have my condolences, I lost mine on Sunday 28th, she died in her sleep, I tried waking her up, but the rigor mortis had already set in, Her name was Natalia
My property out here in the Country we had rabbits ALL OVER the place constant bunnies hopping around and they do get use to seeing you out with them so they kinda become pets that you can't pet. I was mowing next to our field on our zero turn mower which goes around 10mph as I'm mowing out of the field a tiny little bunny runs out in front of me I was laughing so hard because usually rabbits are just gone like a flash but this little guy must have been a week old so he was giving it his all but he was a slow bunny finally he swerved off into a brush pile. Now there was a good bit of distance between the bunny and the mower so there was no danger of him being cut up. After I got over laughing at that one another bunny took off in front of me doing the same thing they were coming out of everywhere I was being invaded. The cutest invasion I've ever seen. this year NO RABBITS NO BUNNIES anywhere I asked my dad how is it possible to go from rabbits and bunnies everywhere to none? Hawks, eagles, and Coyotes was the answer. I don't mind having rabbits and bunnies everywhere😔 Unless they were the kinda rabbits off that movie Montey Python and the holy Grail. I don't have a yee old hand grenade to take care of evil rabbits
Your experience with the rabbits on your property sounds both adorable and entertaining! It's fascinating how wildlife dynamics can change so quickly, with predators like hawks, eagles, and coyotes playing a significant role in the rabbit population. Thanks for sharing your amusing story!❤️
Lol my Netherland spends all day napping and refuses to go outside for any reason and her favorite treats are saltines and twizzlers. She is a massive diva, indoor bunny!
Yeah people buy their kids rabbits as a gift and the rabbit starts staying in the cage longer and longer. Then they forget to feed it Don’t get little kids animals as gifts. It’ll last maybe a month. Then mom and dad are stuck and usually bring it to a shelter with hundreds of scared dogs. Or kitties place. Don’t get your kid a live animal for any occasion 💔
THE SKIN IS EVERYWHERE OH GOD NO THE SKIN IS ALL OVER THE FLOOR OH NO THE SQUELCHING NOISES OH IT'S TERRIBLE I AM GETTING MY FEET SNAGGED IN THE PILES AND PILES OF ANIMAL PAPER IT IS A NIGHTMARE I ATE A FEW PIECES ON ACCIDENT OOHH NOO THIS IS A TERRIBLE FATE
It was pretty goofy seeing all those fancy breed rabbits placidly posed outside like they were wild rabbits interspersed with footage of the real deals running away from predators. Like the rabbit who looked like he just returned from a show hopping into the burrow of his supposed "warren." But of course this is social media, so I guess when you're that cute you can get away with anything!
😅The flemish giant looks certainly bigger than my 12kg/~25lbs smooth foxterrier (btw, rest in peace, dear Leni🐾 🌈🏞️)... The dense fluff is making him look even bigger than he really is, but without a doubt, he's still damn huge for a rabbit!
While it's true that some rabbits may kill their babies in certain stressful or unsafe conditions, it's not a common behavior in nature. This can happen if the mother feels threatened, is inexperienced, or is in poor health. Providing a calm, safe environment and proper care can significantly reduce this risk. It's important to understand these behaviors to ensure the well-being of rabbits in domestic or natural settings. Thank you❤️
I think it was "Night of the Lepus." It’s the title of a 1972 American science fiction horror film. The term "Lepus" refers to the genus of animals that includes hares and jackrabbits. In the context of the film, "Night of the Lepus" describes a scenario where giant, mutated rabbits wreak havoc on a small town. The film explores themes of nature gone awry and the unintended consequences of scientific experimentation. Despite its serious premise, the movie is often remembered for its unusual and somewhat campy portrayal of giant, killer rabbits. Thank you ❤️
Look at how non-native rabbits effect the environment! Introduced to Australia, with 24+/- wild rabbits in the 18th century, they've effected every habitat in the millions! They eat everything green! It's happened in Canada also. Something has to happen.

Several of the "rabbits" in this video (the ones that being chased by cheetah and birds of prey) are actually hares.

To scale or not to scale, that is the question.
