Joe Mixon thriving under a new system is all the proof that this Bengals staff don't know what they're doing and how to get the best production of their players.
I blame the defensive ineptitude more on the office. They took away all his best players and leaders. Despite that, he is still able to get a few clutch stops, usually at the beginning of the game, and often at some point towards the end. (Eagles don't get a TD after failed 4-1. Ravens in OT) Despite the investment in the offense and trashing of the defense, the defense is more clutch. I still like Lou.
I fear that the team management is turning Joe Burrow into Carson Palmer. No decent QB wants to spend their entire career with a dysfunctional franchise.
At this level of play I would not blame Joe for wanting to exit. Bengals ownership, management, and coaches don't deserve such talent. They'd burn toast if they had to make it. Shameful.
@@Jeremyy745 Both Palmer and Burrow are Heisman winners. Not saying that they were necessarily equal but its likely that Palmer was better than Dalton. A lot of people what to hate on Palmer but the team's problems were above Palmer's position just like they are with Burrow.
I think Burrow is more to blame than the coaching staff. This offense is tailored (no pun intended) to his comfort. Blaming Zac Taylor is the obvious refuge of the stooge. But it was Burrow who checked into that 3rd an 8 run with the game in danger. I blame Burrow for the results, I blame Taylor for not forcing changes or adapting to what is and isn't working. They looked their best when Burrow was playing more under center to start the season. They looked balanced, the run game was producing, and Burrow looked far more safe. He had rust to shake off. They should be doing more of that. It's Burrow's fault for not asserting that and it's Taylor's fault for letting this insane garbage happen every week. He's a weak and timid coach.
This team is pathetic, it's hard to watch, coaches should take responsibility but they can't even do that I feel sorry for Burrow because Mike isn't going to do jack s***t.
No need to feel sorry for Burrow. He signed an extension knowing the organization is the same now as it's always been (unless you're saying he's not smart enough to see that).
Having an elite quarterback but you still have a below average team speaks volumes toward the coach. Taylor has lost this team, You see it in Burrow’s face during the pressers, he’s done. Taylor doesn’t have the answers, it’s time to find someone who does and they aren’t on this coaching staff either.
Not only we are ruining Joe Burrow and J Chase Careers, by taking from them their predator´s eyes to go after their rivals... This ownership only show one and ones again that they are more married with their weird dream of showing that their way (watever it is) can work out at least ones in a life time, than evolving into a succesful organization by taking all the tools that they may have (retaining developed drafted good players, hire one or two elite FA in crytical lack of depht possitions extending and paying well your best players and looking for and hire great coaching minds in and around de legue). But they are showing that don´t deserve Burrow or Chase or any competitive player that they have put his hands on by luck or by a weird miracle as the national media said. So, Hire Deion Sander´s type of coach or make that kind of hard moves including hiving him their nessesary economic and sports like tools to give Burrow at least anothar chance to win a Super Bowl. Scuse my english but i´m a die hard fan from Mexico who n eeds to say somthing after watch these team give one step foward and three behinde almost every year!
My nephew pointed out to me the simple fact that when top superstars get the super bucks , money is not available to pay other stars , so those other stars find better offers somewhere else . The Bengals lost at least a couple stars , probably more , that they had last year
I'm so tired of Zac Taylor running the same plays from the same formations and expecting his elite receivers and QB to bail his lame ass out. We have no run game and no run game coach to produce one. So everyone knows we're going to pass. And every draft pick we made the last three years has been busts. If anyone attends a Bengals game with this coach still employed here is stupid. The playoff window is slammed shut so tight it's going to take years to get it open.
Some one please Buy the Bengals so Mike Brown can stay at home His Dad is having a Fit Again how many years is this Going to go on ....... we went to our 3rd Super Bowl had good players and let them Go and we should have won that Super Bowl and the other two by 5 points 4 points and last Super Bowl by 3 points WOW
Joe Burrow is failing himself. He has all the tools. He is a primary, if not THE primary architect of this offense. Everything that is run is done so because he likes it or chose to do it. He is the one who audibles into a run on 3rd an 8 with the game on the line. He is the one throughout his entire career who has lacked possession control and lived by the splash play. The opening drive against the Eagles was a top 5 drive from Burrow who has been in the league for as many years now. He is a vet and still can't play the position under center. When they tried earlier in the year they looked better than ever and the run game was cooking. So, they stopped doing that and went pure shotgun offense and here we are, back to 3 and out, stalled drives, no running threat and defenses playing 5 man boxes with 3-4 man pressures. The offensive line has improved. Burrow has had time. And yet, he insists on running this offense without the slightest adaptation or change. The same thing, over and over and over again and he is as responsible as anyone for it. You people need to stop excusing him. You're so distracted by the 70% completion percentage, but that comes off a 7.6 yard per throw average (heavily skewed by a massive performance against the Ravens), which uses him as a blend of running game and passing game, but that % is HEAVILY padded by 3 yard slants and screens.
We have more than a hand full of Guys that don't get paid like some and play there Buts off but we will let them Go Mike Brown needs to Go .........................
No offense can keep up when their defense lets the other team score every possession. Also offense has no running game. Burrows best years will be wasted on this team.
Somebody tell Cincy that wearing white, is traditionally the sign of surrender. Armies giving up, tossing the towel in the ring. Guess what, Burrow and Chase will realize that they want rings, not Zac Taylor excuses. They will go somewhere else, and good luck to them. Pretty uniforms, 0 and 4 at home. Hey, Mike Brown, how many rings does this franchise have ? Well, at least they got pretty white uniforms.
It’s a repeat of Carson Palmer and Andy dalton..premium talent..clueless owner..cheap ass mike brown wouldn’t pay Joe mixon..wouldn’t keep samaje perine..been screwed ever since..brown got his afc championship and playoff appearances..plus a Super Bowl appearance.. cashed out when paycor put their name on the stadium..Joe burrow deserves better..and I’m a die hard fan. But he definitely deserves better so does Jamarr an Tee..I don’t blame tee for not wanting to play. I wouldn’t play for cheap owners either..just my two cents
The breakdown starts at the top. The Brown family has historically performed poorly. They are ultra-conservative and stubbornly unique in the way they approach player contracts. That intimidates trade opportunities from desiring to come to Cincinnati. It leads to players wanting to exit Cincinnati. And they want to employ coaches on the cheap. Hence they stay with inept coaches through what seems like eternity. Zac Taylor appears to be a nice gent. But he's not the elite level coach that the Bengals players deserve. And drafting and resigning players have frankly stunk up the joint. That being Pay"Less" Stadium. Fans deserve a better bang for the buck and their loyalty. Shame on the Brown family's leadership and ineptitude. The ladies of the family have made an impact. I give them credit where it's due. But the old man's presence continues to be a real drag. A real drag indeed.

I can't possibly agree with this more.
Zero pass rush (and also Zero blitzes by Lou) !

keep in mind...legalized gambling: did you Saty" Money Mac"?
Nobody should be surprised.

if Bengals were 2-5, and Eagles 5-2, why would a sane person think the Bengals win?
At this level of play I would not blame Joe for wanting to exit. Bengals ownership, management, and coaches don't deserve such talent. They'd burn toast if they had to make it. Shameful.
Dalton might have been better than Carson I wouldn’t compare Carson to burrow I guy why but still

Mike Brown's net worth = $3.9 Billion. He's fine with the status quo.

4 losses at home already says it all.
It goes deeper then Taylor. He was hired by morons who think he’s a good coach. Nothing changes until ownership changes.
I think the front office is ignorant. I think they will ignore Taylor's mistakes just fine.
Nothing will change until the team is sold to someone who cares.
Fire Zac ..................
Just watched Monday night Football and can't help but wonder what The Bengals would be like with Tomlin or Harbaugh as their head coach. 🤔
Speaking facts!!
I gave up already. zac likes to give us hope and then we suck.
