With how Sensei was talking to the King, he's got something cooking. What I'm thinking is a motorized coffin, lol. That way no one has to drag him and he just goes where he wants, even if into a river or volcano, rofl. Of course I could be wrong. Guess we'll have to wait to see.
Elves being high-strung as you have observed is a trope that originates because they were kind of metaphor for British nobility in early fantasy. Fair appearance (because no manual labor) more educated than most people. Had a lot of power but lost it. ect

Ah I remember this arc reading the manga, The Avarice arc, probably the last arc we will see this season but still a good high note to end on.
Sensei: "Yeah, I was hoping that tornado would've killed me, so I guess I'll help this former "bishop's/priest's" magic familiar with his love for a current "bishop's/priest's" magic familiar since I'm still alive. Maybe I'll even include that in the story about the current "bishop's/priest's" love story with this random old lady and other former student/lover who has the powers of Greed. Idk."
I also like Wolff's relationship with Doran. An elf getting along with a dwarf like Legolas getting along with Gimli in the Lord of the Rings trilogy.
The student girl I believe they called her the fallen angel of greed in which case she kinda obviously steals sh*t such as life force. So I don't think the old lady is an old lady also we know what happens when you DRAIN sensei's life force so that might happen

its in the desert, so he gets a gold plated mummy sarcophagus to replace the coffin
This anime genuinely impressed me this season. Sad to see nobody talking about it much. It doesn't seem like the entire plot can be summed up in just 2 episodes. Hope it gets a second season announcement soon.
well if any good came of this that this series is still very popular thanks to the anime and the good news is that in the author notes in the most recent chapter raws they said that Volume 11 (the most recent volume out now) is a mega hit so we might some good things coming out of this series in the upcoming future.
Sensei riding that huricane at start of the epside brings a whole meaning to riding like hurricane XD. Which each episode its more entertaining and fun then the last. We need to get season 2 of this show.

All I know is it's going to shock us and the party while keeping the coffin theme.
Ossan and this are on the same level for me this season as underrated animes with great animation,action, and storytelling unfolding

Found this to be a very interesting episode, I was ready to see him teach that elf wizard a lesson but when he followed him & they dropped that bit of mystery about his character I thought "Wow they did it to me again." I really enjoy the way the writers tell their story, fun then emotional then mystery or action. Don't know if anyone is watching but Mission: Yozakura Family also has drops of mystery/action amongst lots of fun & emotion, that's one of my Sunday favorites.

6:58 Yes! Anime doesn't have to look good. It just has to be consistent. Wisteria camera view/ story boarding changed compared to Episode 1. Ossan, Parry, and No Longer Allowed are consistent from beginning til now.

The animal at tend turing into car reminded me of Morgan from persona 5. When I saw the fallen angel of greed powers with dark tentical arms it reminded me of Betelgeuse from re zero. Some kind of dark control and with power drain abilities. But wolf is similar to sensei but also kind of. The opposite. Both have their pride,both like to drink substance for him it’s alcohol for sensei pills. mething happend in their past to drasticly change them
Both Morgana and the delinquent bus cat are reference to the bus cat in My Neighbor Totoro by Studio Ghibli.

I don't want to spoil but you are NOT prepared for what Sensei is gonna get from the dwarves lmao. This episode didn't have that much, but is still a good setting up for the final arc of this season.

o7 previous coffin, hopefully a new one is born. Now for the new enemy, I like her, her power reminds me of Satella from re zero in terms of the shadow hands and then she even represents greed so I can’t wait to see what depths her greed goes to. I really liked the new equipment the main crew got, really looks good and suits them well, especially Tama’s. Lastly I can’t wait to see what story of love and more sensei will create from the connection from wollf and the old woman, plus wollf’s student as well, all of it will connect into something interesting I bet

Until I found out more of the real person Sensei is meant to be a representation of, I’d agree with the old lady dragging him prediction, but he’s a real historical figure and I’d like to think he’s better than that
No spoilers but let’s just just say we are going to see more than one fallen angel fight the party this arc.

I suspect that your idea about the old lady being the human true love of the elven mage is likely spot on. And your pointing out the possibility gave me an idea of where the arc is going to go. Sensei definitely appears to be looking to focus his power on the mage this time. My thought is, when Sensei kicks in his reality rewrite ability, he's going to give the old lady back her youth. Give the couple another (human) lifetime together. Whether this gives the mage the kick he needs to save the day, like Sensei did with Tama, or we solve the situation with Greed some other way I don't know, but I'm thinking the power will focus specifically on the old lady.
Edit: And if the old lady is another otherworlder student of the elven mage, then she likely has a cheat power as well, and giving her youth could bring back her faded power, solving the arc that way.
Edit 2: (Still 100% speculation here. I'm not a source reader on this one.) Old lady was student to elf mage. She and mage fell in love. She aged, and his heart has been breaking over that. Greed came along as his new otherworlder student and fell for him in almost the same way that old woman had. Elf mage could not handle going through the same thing a second time, especially with his first love still alive, and he breaks the relationship off with Greed in a nasty breakup. He stops teaching, becomes a drunk, and Greed becomes Greed, bitter at the mage.
Do you think during the journey. The old women will somehow become young again?
