I'm so happy to be finally be filming and tackling this pantry! Being a single mom these projects get forgotten about! My small pantry was neglected and needed to be cleaned and decluttered. Seeing is motivating me to reorganize my pantry. When I moved into my mom's house after she died i had to go through her spices. I got rid of some kept some because they were good. But I do use my spices and seasonings

I keep a medium-sized wire basket on the counter next to the stove with the spices I use most. I just categorize into Mexican & Tex-Mex, Italian, Greek, and Cajun. I also have a basket of oils, vinegars, etc. I keep on the other side of the stove. Then I have baskets in bottom cupboards for potatoes and another for onions. I use very few canned goods other than tomatoes, tomato sauces, and pastes. I much prefer frozen vegetables unless I can get them fresh after a visit to my local farmers market. It took me a few years of cooking to set up my ideal kitchen. The one that works best for me. My advice to young cooks is that you'll find your own way according to your family needs and what works most efficiently for you. Happy cooking, everyone! ❤

Hi Penney! It’s so good to be back! I’m hoping to get back into a routine of filming and such. My life is so different now and it was hard adjusting. Haha I know I make fun of myself with all the seasoning but I’ll be thankful in fall that’s when I really use them.
