I too fasted two years in a row and decided after that I would convert. Even though a Muslim told me my fasting would not COUNT.... I told him that it didn't matter because this was my path to Allah. When you are a revert take it in stages. It is difficult to give up alcohol ( not for me) and pork ( the most difficult for me). I hope people don't judge...we all have our own path to Allah.
