@@hi12235 he was never proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt. Therefore, by the definition set forth by our established justice system, Khalifa was innocent. Now whether this individual was a good man, that is irrelevant. We don’t execute people based on if they are ‘good’ or ‘bad’. We use the US penal code sentencing guidelines, established by legislation, to administer appropriate justice. We should not deviate from the agreed upon justice system. It works really well when applied correctly. But we must hold all people to the same standard, not ‘worse for certain types of people’ and ‘better for others’
      That’s BS!

We have to judge cases based on the standards of what was conceivable at the time. It's one thing if we find new evidence that changes our opinion. This is why the defense appealed & requested DNA testing to be done on the murder weapon to prove innocence, since this was not available during the original trial. That's not what happened here. They didn’t find anything useful for the defense. His DNA not matching the murder weapon does not prove his innocence, in a lot of cases perpetrators don’t always leave DNA to be found by forensic testing, but are still found guilty by creating beyond reasonable doubt.
Someone else’s print DNA on the murder weapon also doesn’t explain the confession Williams’ gave to the two people who testified against him (although both who testified also had motives for the incentives involved), the presence of the victims property in his car, the testimony of the individual who purchased the victim’s laptop from the defendant, and much more other things. All of this isn’t evidence of actual innocence, it isn’t reasonable doubt, and no way is it reversible error.
I believe their is potential that he is innocent & did not murder the victim, but he was definitely involved. Defendant should serve LWOP for this case, but then again even he is already serving a 50 year sentence for an unrelated robbery when he was initially put on trial for this murder.

The defense didn’t find anything useful to prove his innocence.
As you might not know, lack of Williams’ DNA on the murder weapon does not mean he is innocent, as the court obtained the conviction him as the murderer based off of persuasive evidence.
Someone else’s DNA on the murder weapon also doesn’t explain the confession Williams’ made to the two people who testified against him prior to them turning informants, as well as the presence of the victims property found within his car, or the testimony of the individual who purchased the laptop of the victim from the defendant days after the murder. This isn’t evidence of actual innocence, it isn’t reasonable doubt, and it isn’t reversible error.
I believe he is innocent in regards to committing the murder, but with the testimonies & the victims property found in his vehicle, it’s very conclusive to understand that while he may not have murdered the victim he was definitely involved in some way. In fact, he had an extensive criminal record which included multiple robberies. I just did a little research here is what I found there was blood hair and finger prints a shoe print none of it matches Mr Williams . He was convicted because of a jail house informant saying he confessed and his ex girlfriend said he picked her up with scratches on his neck and bloody shirt covered by a jacket he had stolen from the home and she said he confessed . Here is my issue if the DNA at the crime scene didn't match nothing matched hence the prosecutor stating I messed up I think he might be innocent . The jailhouse informant and his girlfriend both changed their story and both were facing convictions of their own so the both of them gained benefit in their own cases from lying the girlfriend said he had scratches on his neck Corner stated the victim had no DNA under her nails . The shoe print was smaller than Mr. Williams much smaller.

He may have a record but this crime he was set up and she knew they would believe her for the same reason you did he had a past .You said he was facing 50 years he wasnt he was in a work house paying for his crimes when this came up . He was locked up when his girl went to the police with the said confession she was locked up and the day she got out she went straight to the police with that said confession . Im thinking because she did not want to go to jail for murder and she was trying to get that reward money because they had just announced it and to hide who really killed those people with her .

@@hakeemfrancis1099 If he is a "patriot," why did his office go against the constitution and purposely ignore court orders to release other people who were already found to be factually factually innocent of the crimes they were accused of? Sandra Hemme, Kevin Strickland, Christopher Dunn? You have struct rules you have to follow as an attourney general to uphold the constitution, not use it against the people. What would have happened to people like Kirk Bloodsworth if they said "Oh we know there is DNA evidence that proves your innocence, but we are still going to execute you anyway?". You are acting more of a libtard than a conservative right wing like myself who is supposed to be supportive of people who uphold the constitution. We are supposed to be on the same boat.
