if im being honest i like this level more than WHAT rn. WHAT is absolutely impressive in every way and is the most technologically impressive level of all time no contest, but this level is the most creative, unique, well made, and most importantly, OPTIMIZED, level i’ve ever seen. It was one of my most looked-forward-to levels when it was announced and it was better than i could’ve ever imagined. Good luck verifying it
I gotta say, I am so curious on how the object count is so low. Not many list levels are under 80,000 objects, even today's extreme demons are really unoptimized. But, this level is on some pedestal I've never seen! Absolutely amazing work!
Comparing this to Change of Scene with a similar object count. Which might I add the entire point of Change of Scene's popularity wasn't it's visuals but by the amazingly low object count. I would say Yoreid knocked it out of the park in my opinion. A minigame level of this dificulty, quality, and length is absolutely mindblowing. I hope this gets just as much if not more attention than Change of Scene because he really deserves it. I've been playing Geometry Dash since before 2.1 and I would like to talk about how happy I am with the community right now. WHAT by Spu7Nix and Floating Outskirts by Yoreid and 2.2 coming in less than a month! I cannot comprehend what people will acomplish with an editor that has so many new features.
Are they though? You could also argue that some of the cutscenes in change of scene would use less objects despite going fast because the animations follow the player.
Honestly, I dont understand why people devalue other people's work in comparison to Change of Scene. Change of Scene isn't even that good and this is totally more impressive.
I would say, no matter how good Change of Scene was, it was a tad bit overhyped and over-popular. I sure hope that Floating Outskirts reaches if not surpasses its level, because it actually *DOES* deserve all the attention imaginable!

Not impossible and never has been, pukklez is an absolute god though. Unless there is another level like that which I don't know about

I remember searching your video history to find if you've ever made a video covering ''Floating Maze'' another masterpiece of a Platformer Minigame level in YoReid's series of minigames, because it felt like the kind of level you'd love, but was slightly disappointed to find out that you haven't heard of it. Well, glad that you at least covered the next masterpiece of YoReid...
the temple section, specifically with its colour scheme and the firing dart-like objects, remind me of Terraria. the palace and the spikes in the garden also remind me of Hollow Knight. additionally some rain world vibes in the aqua duct... drainage system ptsd watched to the Monolith.. now I'm thinking about the Underhang

idk much aboout celeste but i think the green gem things you had to get in the palace area are like the extra double jump in celeste
