Thanks for Watching!
Thank you Shawn for your awesome video. The other video doesnt even metion the part with the ODB Module. i was very close on returning the remote start until I saw this video. Thanks a ton man!
btw, How did you mange to put back on the plastic housings with all the extra wires on the BCM. My plastic housings are sitting a little wonkey
Awesome! Glad I could help. And I kind of pushed it above the BCM Unit. There's some room right above it and I just made sure not to crimp any wires. It is a bit snug but it's probably the best place for it. Hope that helped!
Awesome installation video man! Is this the 12V plug and play or accesorides plug and play?
Disregard, I read the description and saw your links for accesorides and 12v. I’m leaning toward accesorides personally. Not sure if they’re the same? But I’ve seen less complaints about the accesorides. Seems 12v module has had more issues with programming. Could be wrong though... just going based off what I’ve seen on forums and reviews.
The white plug on top is giving me trouble
I followed the instructions and when I hit the ignition start there are no lights on the cluster module. However, the thing connected to it that I believe is for cell phone start blinks red. Help!
So this may be a stupid question, but I am trying to upgrade my Dronemobile LTE module and cant find the Remote start module. I have been looking all under the steering wheel area. From watching this, I am assuming it is on the passenger side and not under steering wheel?
Do you plug back in the first white one you unplugged on passager side?
How did you hide the cable coming from the driver side as well as the car module?
When you remote start it, do any of the lights turn on, like the DRL's, or just flashes blinkers? Also, any issues with the system, like car shutting off when getting in, or not starting, stuff like that?
When you start it only the DRLs are on. Your hazard flashes every 5-10 seconds while it's started. At first I did have the problem of it turning off when unlock it to go in, but doesn't happen often. I've only not been able to start it twice so far, but that was due to no connection errors on the app end. ( just restarted my phone and it was fine)
Shawn Baijoo any other issues? The starter I have from 12.volt is already driving my crazy. It’s now staring to mess with my rear door locks. DRL don’t even turn on, and blinks flash every 5 seconds and sometimes bug out and turns on the hazard lights, which can only be turned off from inside the car.
Double check the guide and make sure you have all the ports matching. I leave my headlights on auto (maybe that's it?) the hazards will continue to flash until you press the brake once inside. I'm not sure why it's messing with the rear doors. I would double check your connections and power cycle the unit if necessary. Hope this helps.
Yes, I know of that part. But the one from 12.volt does not activate the DRL as they stated AFTER purchasing. Then the chip that handles the blinkers flashing every 5 seconds bugs out and activates the hazards, it’s really annoying, among a few other things that happen with the unit. As now with the rear locks. So I was thinking of swapping out to this one and see if it fixes the annoying things about the 12.volt one
Would this work on 2015 Infiniti Q50 hybrid version?
Can you do it to the 2.0t
Hello, can tell me if you have my 2015 infiniti Q70 hybrid. Thank you
Did everything and all it does it cranks on but doesn’t turn on it gets stuck
Can you lock and unlock with oem fob while remote started?
Yuvraj Chohan Yeah
@@shawnbaijoo ah I wired my purple accessory wrong xd
Do you plug back in the top white one?
How different is this vs Fortin would you happen to have an install video on that or know of one I have a 2014 Q50s hybrid thx in advance
Its the same for the hybrid
My hazards flash every 5-10seconds too while it’s running. Is there a way to turn that feature off or have it honk once haha
I couldn't figure out how to turn the hazards off while it's remote started. Might be a safety feature
