You keep an immaculate house, you cook, clean, bake, do laundry, make Gio's lunches for the week, buy groceries, entertain and still manage to look amazing all the time. I don't know how you do it and keep so composed with such a strong ability to communicate with your viewers. I have yet to see a flaw in you, your parenting and everything else. Gio is so lucky to have you. (He's pretty great too).

being a mom of a disabled child tends to turn you into a life long student making sure we know what is best for our chld. I am so encouraged by your videos because I see parents who love their child very much and also encouraged that though my daughter has a different problem, we have a lot in common when it comes to being a mom. sending you a big hug especially for those difficult days when it is easy to feel like a failure.

He was so happy, talking and rolling around. Also, pushing himself up. He's getting stronger. He was in such a good mood today. Even through therapy you could see the playfulness in his personality coming out.
You explain everything so well but it does upset me,that people feel the need to question everything in the first place. He's a dear little soul,on a different wavelength to the norm but you can see he is content, in his own little world. I could just watch him all day long, every little smile,babble,roll,twitch, whatever he does, its a joy just to see him content with his lot. Never have i felt such love in my heart,for another little human being. Xxxx
It hurts in my heart thinking anyone could be nasty, negative or pick holes in this beautiful family and how Sebastian is being brought up. The love and positive energy in Sebastian's family is enormous and I could never cope as good as Stephanie, her make up is always perfect too. As a special ed teacher, there is a plethora of expensive toys and materials that we can get for students. That does not mean that all students can benefit from them. Or want to. All we can do is offer stimulation and options. Hopefully we’ll hit upon what works for them. You’re doing an outstanding job!
I wonder if Sebastian would like a floor mat called "sensory soothing water pad with fish" or something similar called an aquapod? Maybe you already know of theses sorts of activity/sensory mats--just a thought. :)

I have been watching your channel for awhile and love that you're such a advocate for your son. But, who would know better than Sebastian 's parents. Being the mother of two children with disabilities I understand your frustration with people who seem to know it all. As I watch Sebastian I believe he feels and understands more than he can express! I’m the mother of a son with High functioning Autism, I have a hard time when people try to “help” by telling me what I should do with him, I think you are AMAZING with the things you do for and with Sebastian, not everybody sees your day to day activities to be able to tell you what they “think” should or should not happen

I just stumbled on your channel today. I was not familiar with the condition that Sebastian suffers from, but have learned a lot after watching a couple of your videos. At the end of this video you stated that you're not a perfect parent, but I believe you are the perfect parent for Sebastian. I have so much respect for people that care for severely disabled family members with so much grace. Prayers for your family. 🙏
I worked in NICU 50 years ago. When I met my first CDL babe there were not the diagnostic capabilities that we have today. Sadly, kids were not expected to do much and the therapies we have today were not present. People need to realize that each CDL babe is unique and goals reached are special to just that babe. You and Gio are way ahead of the curve in devotion to your son. It’s wonderful that you and Gio have committed your lives to Sebastian, and can give love and share honestly what it takes to help Sebastian develop to highest potential.

You know Stephanie, I am sure you have heard this many many times over but I feel like just n case you haven’t heard it, you ROCK girl. You are so strong. You could have gone so many different ways with the wonderful gift given. You could be sitting there crying everyday, poor me poor us, but no you don’t. Everyday I watch your videos and I see a woman who is strong and bright and one heck of a mother. In one of your videos you said we are new parents we didn’t know what to do what direction to go in, and this is what I mean you could have gone down so many paths and you choose to wake everyday, and be the brave, strong, beautiful, nourishing, worthy, awesome amazing woman be this amazing mother who rocks at taking care of her most beautiful precious baby boy. I love your positivity. I ask my children everyday and several times a day are you happy when they reply yes I always ask them, is there anything I can do to make you happier? When they reply to me no I know in my heart I have done my job as a mother that my children are continent within their beings. “NEVER allow anyone to make you feel inferior without your consent” that is a quote by Elenor Rosevelt I live by these wonderful words everyday. If I may a quote from my words, “God gave you your day, make your day how how you want it, not how others try and make it for you”. I truly believe in that. Keep smiling, stay strong and never allow anyone to make you rethink your judgement because you rock at what you do!
I loved how he was being so coy with the therapist, he was quite the little ham today. I just want you to know that I understand what a beautiful child you have. My aunt and uncle had a son that is a needs man now. Back when was born he did not have all of his brain, and by the time he was 3 yrs old the had to put him in a state run institution. His parents were told that he would near walk, talk,, dress or feed himself. He's doing all of it and lives in a group home for developmentlally disabled. I'd have to say he's around 60 now..I'm very proud of both of you for being such good parents to Sebastian. I've also got hooked on your friend Freya's videos now, she such a cutie. I love how she scoots and on her bum.God bless you and your family. I look forward to your videos. ❤❤

I got the feeling that the toys were annoying him….. that they were getting in the way of his rolling and vocalizing. The freedom to roll and vocalize as he desires must be so enjoyable to him. It’s certainly enjoyable watching him. It seems to be a very fun part of the day! ❤

As a musician, I believe that music can play a positive and big role for Sebastian, as well as the bright colors that you place before him. I've been told that my music "spoke" to someone and helped. Keep up the good work with giving him the toys and colors; you never know when something will speak to Sebastian. You are giving him things to focus on, to catch his eye and hearing. Please don't give up. How about adding music for him to listen to?
Look at the genius Rkelly is/was. He couldn’t read or write and has the education of a 2nd grader (some say Rkelly is autistic)and he is a musical genius!
I was impressed with all the PT Sebastian did today. I can only imagine how hard his little muscles worked. Maybe his stand up time could be by momma as she plays piano and sings!

I love watching your channel and you and geo are wonderful parents. My only suggestion, for what it’s worth, is to not talk so much during Sebastian’s time with Geo, his PT/OT, or whoever and just let them have time with Sebastian. You were quiet during Geos time today but at times it would be nice to just observe Sebastian with someone else. But again, you asked for suggestions so there it is. You guys are awesome.

Gosh Steph, the way you choose to focus on the positive is just so heartwarming. I think you are exactly the perfect mom for Sebastian. You accept him where he is at, you love him for who was made to be and at the same time, encourage him to grow and learn new things. You've mentioned a few of times now that he prefers to role on the floor and you've shown how he responds to light and sound, people don't realize it makes perfect sense because rolling gives him the sensory input that he needs that he isn't getting in visual or auditory ways. With his physical limitations in reaching unless he's assisted or in a position where he can move his arms freely like his bouncer or your lap he isn't going to interact with toys!
You are a terrific mum, never forget that. It is clear how much Sebastian is loved by you and Gio and how much he loves you right back. Love that Sebastian is soo loved and cared for. Working with children with varying needs it is not super important for them to be “interested” I think just him hearing new sounds, feeling, & touching even with guidance helps build new connections. Most of all I can see all the love and relationships are what keep him so full of joy even when he’s not feeling well. Many many prayers and blessings! Lovely to see Sebastian with the tambourine. I work in a SEN school (UK) we have a boy with CDLS in our class (10years) , he enjoys playing on a drum and can tap out quite a beat during music therapy sessions. He also likes to play with quite random objects, flicking a spoon and spinning toy car wheels ( all very sensory activities) And, he's absolutely adorable too, like your gorgeous boy.I'm sure Sebastian will find his own motivators ,he has a lovely variety of toys there . Plus Stephanie sings plays piano herself her and Gio are completely up on all different therapies for their precious man!!! Such a beautiful family!!! They always bring a smile to my face!!! Being the mother of two children with disabilities I understand your frustration with people who seem to know it all. As I watch Sebastian I believe he feels and understands more than he can express! I’m the mother of a son with High functioning Autism, I have a hard time when people try to “help” by telling me what I should do with him, I think you are AMAZING with the things you do for and with Sebastian, not everybody sees your day to day activities to be able to tell you what they “think” should or should not happen

I just stumbled on your channel today. I was not familiar with the condition that Sebastian suffers from, but have learned a lot after watching a couple of your videos. At the end of this video you stated that you're not a perfect parent, but I believe you are the perfect parent for Sebastian. I have so much respect for people that care for severely disabled family members with so much grace. Prayers for your family. 🙏
I worked in NICU 50 years ago. When I met my first CDL babe there were not the diagnostic capabilities that we have today. Sadly, kids were not expected to do much and the therapies we have today were not present. People need to realize that each CDL babe is unique and goals reached are special to just that babe. You and Gio are way ahead of the curve in devotion to your son. It’s wonderful that you and Gio have committed your lives to Sebastian, and can give love and share honestly what it takes to help Sebastian develop to highest potential.

You know Stephanie, I am sure you have heard this many many times over but I feel like just n case you haven’t heard it, you ROCK girl. You are so strong. You could have gone so many different ways with the wonderful gift given. You could be sitting there crying everyday, poor me poor us, but no you don’t. Everyday I watch your videos and I see a woman who is strong and bright and one heck of a mother. In one of your videos you said we are new parents we didn’t know what to do what direction to go in, and this is what I mean you could have gone down so many paths and you choose to wake everyday, and be the brave, strong, beautiful, nourishing, worthy, awesome amazing woman be this amazing mother who rocks at taking care of her most beautiful precious baby boy. I love your positivity. I ask my children everyday and several times a day are you happy when they reply yes I always ask them, is there anything I can do to make you happier? When they reply to me no I know in my heart I have done my job as a mother that my children are continent within their beings. “NEVER allow anyone to make you feel inferior without your consent” that is a quote by Elenor Rosevelt I live by these wonderful words everyday. If I may a quote from my words, “God gave you your day, make your day how how you want it, not how others try and make it for you”. I truly believe in that. Keep smiling, stay strong and never allow anyone to make you rethink your judgement because you rock at what you do!

I loved how he was being so coy with the therapist, he was quite the little ham today. I just want you to know that I understand what a beautiful child you have. My aunt and uncle had a son that is a needs man now. Back when was born he did not have all of his brain, and by the time he was 3 yrs old the had to put him in a state run institution. His parents were told that he would near walk, talk,, dress or feed himself. He's doing all of it and lives in a group home for developmentlally disabled. I'd have to say he's around 60 now..I'm very proud of both of you for being such good parents to Sebastian. I've also got hooked on your friend Freya's videos now, she such a cutie. I love how she scoots and on her bum.God bless you and your family. I look forward to your videos. ❤❤

I got the feeling that the toys were annoying him….. that they were getting in the way of his rolling and vocalizing. The freedom to roll and vocalize as he desires must be so enjoyable to him. It’s certainly enjoyable watching him. It seems to be a very fun part of the day! ❤

These people have to understand you don't know all the answers about your precious little Guy. He may not understand the concept of toys. Sweetheart you have many fans, and followers on here that love and appreciate all you do and take the time to educate us. Keep up the good work, I'm a mom 9f an adult special needs son and it takes so much patience and love. I admire you and Gio's love for your son.
As a musician, I believe that music can play a positive and big role for Sebastian, as well as the bright colors that you place before him. I've been told that my music "spoke" to someone and helped. Keep up the good work with giving him the toys and colors; you never know when something will speak to Sebastian. You are giving him things to focus on, to catch his eye and hearing. Please don't give up. How about adding music for him to listen to?
My companion has Alzheimer’s Dementia and he’s a saxophone musician, he still practices and still enjoys listening to music.
Music has help me speak and walk too.
Look at the genius Rkelly is/was. He couldn’t read or write and has the education of a 2nd grader (some say Rkelly is autistic)and he is a musical genius!

I was impressed with all the PT Sebastian did today. I can only imagine how hard his little muscles worked. Maybe his stand up time could be by momma as she plays piano and sings!

I love watching your channel and you and geo are wonderful parents. My only suggestion, for what it’s worth, is to not talk so much during Sebastian’s time with Geo, his PT/OT, or whoever and just let them have time with Sebastian. You were quiet during Geos time today but at times it would be nice to just observe Sebastian with someone else. But again, you asked for suggestions so there it is. You guys are awesome.

Gosh Steph, the way you choose to focus on the positive is just so heartwarming. I think you are exactly the perfect mom for Sebastian. You accept him where he is at, you love him for who was made to be and at the same time, encourage him to grow and learn new things. You've mentioned a few of times now that he prefers to role on the floor and you've shown how he responds to light and sound, people don't realize it makes perfect sense because rolling gives him the sensory input that he needs that he isn't getting in visual or auditory ways. With his physical limitations in reaching unless he's assisted or in a position where he can move his arms freely like his bouncer or your lap he isn't going to interact with toys!

Love that Sebastian is soo loved and cared for. Working with children with varying needs it is not super important for them to be “interested” I think just him hearing new sounds, feeling, & touching even with guidance helps build new connections. Most of all I can see all the love and relationships are what keep him so full of joy even when he’s not feeling well. Many many prayers and blessings! Lovely to see Sebastian with the tambourine. I work in a SEN school (UK) we have a boy with CDLS in our class (10years) , he enjoys playing on a drum and can tap out quite a beat during music therapy sessions. He also likes to play with quite random objects, flicking a spoon and spinning toy car wheels ( all very sensory activities) And, he's absolutely adorable too, like your gorgeous boy.I'm sure Sebastian will find his own motivators ,he has a lovely variety of toys there . Xx❤

Hi! I just think children play with toys when they want to. Sometimes a bunch of toys overwhelm my grandson. He will just take 1 car to play with. Sébastien plays when he's rolling, I think he has fun that way. Your an awesome mom you know your son perfectly. Have a great evening!!
