INT LA Engine

This is my LA engine my grandfather bought it new back in the late 1930s, still trying to read the numbers on it. It ran a water well pump for most of its life. last run in the early 1970s. This engine is throttel governed.

Yes I learned the hard way 40 some years ago when I started this engine in the pump house, I had gloves on and was in a hurry, the engine kicked back and the handel grabed my gloved hand, busted my hand on the spot. I gained a great respect for how to start these enginesthat day, that has lasted since then. Thanks.
