So sensitive and hauntingly beautiful, makes the hairs on the back of my neck stand up. One of my absolute favourite tunes/songs. I must have deep Celtic roots somewhere back in time…I do hope so. Thank you for sharing.
haunting; what a rendition. it took me somewhere where it's cloudy, misty, and i can see clouds over the mountains and hear the ocean shoreline crashing in the distance
A terrifying, heart-tearing tale of grief carried in a storm of beauty
Exactly, so well put.
Interesting terminology, but I still remember that chilly early Sunday morn when first I heard a different version...it was fascinatingly erie...my adjectives...and every nerve up my back became electric. I enjoy once or twice a year seeing if there are any new YT renditions I haven't heard. This group of kids (or they were 12 years ago) & this arrangement is one of my faves! Sinead's, too. But if ya wanna hear 4-part acappella singing at its' best, check out Celtic Thunder's version. Wow!
This is bloody brilliant
Beautiful rendition of this song , I grew up listening to the chieftains playing their instrumental take on this song
Hypnotic. Exquisite. Sublime. Beautiful people, timeless and trend-free. Beautiful music this most evocative of Celtic mysteries. Inspired rendition by true artists who push the music not themselves. Transported blown away.
Me too. Couldn't think clearly after i heard it , just FEEL. but u said it Dawn. Chris
One of the best "She Moves Through The Fair " i ever heard 💙✨✩☾
ME 2
Might be the best
I can't believe this only has 180k views/listens. This quality deserves so many more!
So mystical & mysterious, clear & beautiful against the wonderful’drone’ of the other instruments!
Just fabulous !
I will be buying their music ….❤
fantastici..... ascoltandovi chiudo gli occhi e volo sui cieli d'Irlanda......grazie di esistere.
I have heard this by so many others. this is the best ever.
bellissima versione!
My pitt bull dog love's this song it makes her fall asleep peacefully.
Absolutely beautiful version! I just love the blend of instruments and voice and the way you all 'feel' the music! Gorgeous!
Just WOW you all just great! WOW
Same here! I'd thought I'd already found all my favorite versions and accidentally came across this awesome piece!
Beautiful rendition of the song. Some people complain about too many or too few instruments, sound too high or too low, as usual. I found it hauntingly fantastic and the guitarist lovely.
Beautiful, food for the soul.....
Thank you so much... you cant imagine how your way to perform this iconic song helps me every single day.
What a joy to discover this amazing group of musicians!
Oh, this is sooooo beautiful, guys. The best rendition of this song ever. xxx
I've been a lover of Celtic music as long as I can remember & I just discovered the B-Tribe version of this and now I am listening to every version I can find. WTF. I LOVE THIS!
Man, I wish I could thumbs up every time I watch/listen to this
Absolutely gorgeous performance from everyone there. I love to see such young and talented singers and musicians playing "classics from the past."
Wow! 🤩🤩🤩 - Gorgeous!!!
Excellent rendition, great ensemble of musicians
Beautiful version of this song. Awesome job from all you guys. Everyone has amazing talent.
this is one of the best performance of she moves trough the fair, the instrumental part as the singing. i love your particular voice Philippa :)
I’ve loved this song ever since as a 16 year old in 1969 I heard the late John Peel play Fairport Convention’s version on his radio show. To me nothing can beat Sandy Denny’s singing or Richard Thompson’s guitar accompaniment ( and he was just 17 at the time) Fond memories , but having said that this version is truly beautifully sung , played and arranged
You're so right. Sandy's voice and Richard's subtle grace notes make the Fairport reading inimitable .
I could not agree more!
Bert Jansch's version is my absolute favorite; and beautiful guitar work
The whole song sounds like the band is just getting stealthily warmed up. Fun times.
Wow, simply stunning. Purity, simplicity, emotion,
THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU ladies ( and gent) beautiful ......!!!!

I was used to this being sung by John McCormack as Ballad as my father was a John McCormack fan.
Also the Fairport version I remember.

A voice as pure as water. Better than all the famous singers. Accompanying musicians are fab!
Thank you for this. I just found out that a friend died and I really needed to listen to that.

What a beautiful cello player...
za zen That would be a bass, not a cello.

You will be loved by me and this stubborn gut next to me. You are a real Irish talent and everything I look for
That voice is how I would imagine angels sound.
