Ive had it for a month and im happy with it. I upgraded the saddle and handle bars. I'll eventually put an airfork on it. But it's a great all around ,go anywhere, bike.
If their customer service has gotten better then I wish everyone who buys their stuff the best trails. I had a Discover 1 from October 2022 to April 2023 and it was honestly fantastic for those months. After a simple ride my tail light got stuck on. Contacted support. They asked for a video showing the problem. I sent them the video, they claimed it was the motor controller, sent me a new one, but then weirdly sent me an email of a very grainy photo of a hand written address in China and demanded I send the old one to them (and pay postage). I did not. The new motor controller worked fine for exactly 7 days then failed entirely, totally defeating the entire purpose of an ebike. Eventually they got back to me and said it was the battery, sent me a grainy Google Drive video of someone seating the battery (it was 100% not the battery) and after many many emails they said in so many words, "wow that sucks, take it to a bike shop, good luck!" even though it was under warranty. Sold the bike at a loss and will never purchase from them again. That experience showed me that they are all flash and zero backing up. That being said I am very happy their tech is improving, but without a backbone support, it means nothing.
Lov this but can't find Anyone to finance me IV got no credit not bad...I hav down payment n. I newly disabled so ss isn't alot but my shiftted spine is now a z n I found biking to get freedom outdoors n I can't find anyone to help me u hav any suggestions I have 500 down payment
Everything is relative. $50k would be an affordable house or an expensive toothbrush. With most electric mountain bikes costing twice this much, this is a much lower priced electric mountain bike 🤷♂️
@@Electrekan average e-bike is ranging from $800 to $2000, $1900 is on the expensive side, considering most e-bikes sold are under $2000. $1900 can get you E-Cell Five Star which is a much powerful e-bike.

Nice looking bike
How would you compare the Summit 1 to the Ride1up Prodigy XC that you reviewed earlier? Your preference?
Needs to have a belt drive or its a non-starter for me
Thank you.
Thanks
How is sitting on bike / road commuting
Very good I use it to commute to work everyday
Wow a mountain bike review without the mountain....did someone mention pudding?
Who knew that you can mountain bike in relatively flat states?!

Riding over fragile dune plants is not a good idea.
This is Florida, ain’t nothin fragile about this flora. Also those aren’t dunes.
What a polite environmentalist. 😂

@@blackwhirlwind1245 There are plenty, and I mean plenty, of ebikes that cost over $2.5k
Also this is talking about electric mountain bikes. You rarely find them at this price. Most electric mountain bikes range from $2k to $8k
Are you from the past? Time travel?
HUB MOTOR : NOT A MOUNTAIN EBIKE 👎
What a strange form of gatekeeping
