Only listened to a couple episodes so far and I am absolutely amazed by how thorough the investigations are. The fact that they could track this all the way down to the tech taking word of mouth advice due to a computer network error is so insanely specific it's incredible.
I'm so glad these are on UA-cam now. I like using premium for podcasts. Also is anyone else bothered by them not having a transition to the ads? Gus is talking planes and then in almost the same tone of voice he is talking about helloFresh. All other RT podcasts have transition music before the ads. I hope they add it one day.
But like, if they didn't think it was actually leaking, and it was just a sensor error; why did they open the cross feed at all? Props to them for landing it, but as mentioned, I can't help but feel like the situation was definitely exacerbated by them.
So good on the pilots for managing an engine out landing but they put themselves in that scenario to begin with. The maintenance issue was a contributing factor but the causal factor of the event was the crew just dumping fuel into the fuel leak.

I was under the impression that “toob” was the American pronunciation and “tube” was the U.K. pronunciation.
Some people here in the US say both. Although, "toob" is much more common than "tewb".
