"Ain't Nothing Wrong With Your Radio" and "Where the Stars, and Stripes, and the Eagle Fly" are great songs by Tippin too. Another great male voice yall should check out is Travis Tritt.
Agree one hundred percent. Foolish Pride and Drift Off To Dream are great Travis Tritt songs and a great place to start.
And “Country Club” by Travis. My favorite by him. Also the song by him and Marty Stuart by the old mic. Forgot the name of it.
Don’t forget Kiss This
Absolutely
@@floridaboy6051I've requested Tritt before but I suggested the three songs that go together and tell the story of Annie and his daughter.
Met Aaron at a charity event and had the pleasure of talking to him for about 20 minutes over lunch ... he's 100% genuine, down to earth and just a great guy. Ain't Nothing Wrong With the Radio is silly but so fun.
Yes, I met him years ago too - just a friendly, normal guy. A pleasure to hear this ol' classic with a wonderful message ;)
Two more of his greats: There Ain’t Nothing Wrong With The Radio and Kiss This.
Kiss this is a funny song rob squad. I think Amber would get a kick out of it.
@@williammurphree6221 ,I was just about to type the same thing.
Kiss This 💋 I hope they do that one next and soon!! 😊 this one that they did and this request are my top 2 from Arron Tippin
My daughter was maybe 5 when Kiss This came out. When she realized what the woman was saying, she slapped her hand over her mouth and just started giggling. Has been one her favorites since.
People always make fun of country music but what they don't realize is it has some of the best storytelling of any genre. The sound might bug but when you hear the message it truly grows on you til you learn to LOVE IT.
The stuff from this era and before was awesome. Modern country is corny
Country before 9/11 was good. Everything after is all patriotic or singing about getting drunk in a Walmart parking lot 🙄
I don't hear people always making fun of country music. It's the opposite. No genre has more awards shows on network TV than country music. The most watched television shows every year, Monday Night Football and Sunday Night Football, always have country music theme songs despite NFL being 65 percent black, hardly your country music base.
I think country music gets a disproportionate amount of play in relation to sales.
Aaron tippin is a pipe welder turned country artist.he sings music for the blue collar working man.I met him once.super humble and sweet guy.I still have the CD he signed for me.for a really cool and fun song of his you need to check out KISS THIS!
I was just going to suggest Kiss This! It's one of my favorites of his.
I met Aaron at Freedom Fest in Dallas a number of years ago. Your right, very humble and super kind.
He has a super catalog. Very much worth exploring
Yes! 90’s Country is some of the best around! Tippin has a great catalog, as well as Alan Jackson and Travis Tritt.
Working Man's PhD, My Blue Angel, I Got It Honest, The Call of the Wild, its hard to go wrong with Aaron Tippen.
That's As Close As I'll Get (To Loving You). Such a heart wrenching song but still a great song.
Arron's got another song called Working Man's PHD. He used to, don't know if he still does, assemble a bicycle during the course of performing the song. Afterwhich he would give to a a kid, or family in the audience. A pretty cool, stand-up kinda guy all around. He's got alot of great hits guys.
My favorite of his is t Ain’t Nothing Wrong With The Radio!
One more country suggestion-Maren Morris “My Church”.
Yes! Saw him a few years ago with my dad and he did that. He was so lovely and talked a lot about his dad, really sweet guy!
You need to check out Aaron Tippen's "Kiss This", it's a great tongue and cheek song! For Female Friday, you need to add Ms. Barbra Mandrell to the list. She was just at the Opry celebrating 50 years as a member. You will love her 1981 hit "I was country, when country wasn't cool".
I can't believe this song is 30 years old. I remember when it came out
and I was so happy to hear a new song that sounded like "Classic" Country.
This song is very important for today. One of the best lines of this song is, never compromise what's right. So many today want to be accepting to the point where they're compromising what's right.
Y'all really need to check out one of his big hits Kiss This. Y'all will love it. He has a winery in my town here in Crossville Tennessee and has a wine called Kiss This and one called Blue Angel after another one of his hits.
Aaron Tippin grew up just down the street from me. My dad went to high school with Aaron, and Aaron was in a grade level ahead of my dad at Blue Ridge High School in Greer South Carolina. Aaron also sang years ago in our church choir with my dad. He knows my family personally. My grandpa and my great grandpa did some work for his dad and his grandpa and my family’s machine shop business.
Two weeks ago we had the Roots & Boots tour as part of our summer concert series. The show consisted of Aaron Tippin, Sammy Kershaw, and Collin Raye. It was a great concert. Aaron Tippin came out afterwards to meet with his fans and sign merchandise. Nice guy.
They NEED to do “Love, me” by Collin Raye! ❤
Saw Aaron Tippin in '91 or '92 at the Iowa State Fair. He opened for Clint Black. "Working Man's PhD" & "Ain't Nothing Wrong With the Radio" are my 2 favs by him. Sammy Kershaw was also at the fair (free concert) "Don't Go Near the Water" is my fav. Last concert I attended until STYX 3 weeks ago in Des Moines!!🤩 3 words A-MAZE-ING!! Got some great vids! Thanks for always making me smile! 😁
I saw him at our county fair in Virginia, then ran into him in Walmart buying A pack of those signature snug Hanes t shirts, lol. Super sweet guy.
Aw man, this brings back good memories. I used to love Aaron Tippin back in the 90's. He had a lot of great songs but I think you'd like "Blue Angel" and would also get a huge kick out of "Kiss This".
One of my top 10 country artists. Saw him years ago he played in the rain and we all watched, danced, and sang in the rain.
90's country was some of the best and Aaron Tippin had a lot to do with it. This one is a straightforward warning to stand for your principals and be an individual. Others have mentioned "Ain't Nothing Wrong With the Radio" as another song of his to try out and I wholeheartedly agree. I was dating a country boy at the time and he turned me on to Aaron's music.
"Where the Stars and stripes and the eagle fly" is gold from him.
My favorite Aaron Tippin song is For You I Will. It’s got a beautiful fiddle lead and it’s a beautiful love song.
I LOVE that song . I was going to mention it since I hadn't seen where anyone else had. It's such a beautiful song, and wondered why no one had thought of it. Glad to see I'm not the only one that did.
My favorite song and artist for many years. I saw him in concert 1994 and he is touring with Collin Raye and Sammy Kershaw, "Roots & Boots Tour".
Aaron Tippin has a number of great songs,,One if my favorites is Kiss This..Fun song that I think you would enjoy..Please check it out.
❤ I have seen and meet him person .he's a nice and down person, his music just like is awesome. Oh he does alot for his fans and country too.
Hey yall 👋 I saw Aaron Tippin in concert at Renfro Valley in Kentucky and I loved it so much. Y'all should check out his song Workin' Man's Ph.D. Every time he sings it at a concert he puts a kid's bicycle together on stage and donates it to the local Toys for Tots program.
I saw him in Indiana. But I am from Kentucky.
@@sandraturner4539 Kentuckian born and raised right here! Howdy neighbor 😁
Glad to see you guys doing more country. Aaron Tippin is one of the greats! I have an idea how you can squeeze more in without offending all the pop rock subscribers (I happen to be one that likes both genres but not everyone is like that). You could set aside one day a week (or every other week) for a couple of country reactions, Sort of like you do Female Friday. Also, maybe make a space for more songs from the 40s and 50s. I really enjoyed the last few you did. One 40s group that I've requested previously on your channel is the Pied Pipers. "It Started All Over Again (Jo Stafford and the Pied Pipers) and "Dream" (The Pied Pipers & Ernie Felice Quartet) are good ones. Jay and Amber you will absolutely love the harmonies! And Jo Stafford is considered one of the greatest female voices ever, They say she had "perfect pitch" and I believe it!
Good suggestions, I'm definitely down for that idea.
Totally agree about Jo Stafford. She was an incredible voice. In fact, I'd like to recommend, "“Yes Indeed!” (1941) Tommy Dorsey with Sy Oliver and Jo Stafford. It's a great catchy swing tune.
Sawyer Brown, JoDee Messina, Mark Wills, Steve Azar, Jimmy Wayne, Loanstar, Jeff Bates, Clay Davidson, Montgomery Gentry
I saw him perform at a small town fair in the 90’s. He’s tiny and full of energy!
“Kiss This” is my mama’s favorite song by him! The message is a little different! 😉
Met Aaron at my local Wal-Mart, Tippin and a couple of other country artist were signing C.D.'s. My home town had two tornados hit in the same day, did a lot of damage. Aaron was in town doing a benefit concert to raise money for our town and they had made a CD and when you purchased it, Aaron and Ricky Scaggs would autograph it for you. All money made on CD sales went toward tornado damaged areas. I took my grandson to Wal-Mart to buy the CD and get an autograph from them. They hugged my neck and took a picture with me. Down to earth people and very kind hearted. They raised a lot of money for my home town. Brooks and Dunn bought a lot of real estate there, George Jones built a house there and Hank Williams stomping ground is not far from there.
He did a duet with his wife "Love, Like There's No Tomorrow" is a great song.
This is the song that brought me to country music.
One of his best.
We NEED this song today, with so many not standing for anything and just going with the crowd.
Like y'all said, this song is a life lesson and that is among the staples of classic country music. My favorite of Mr. Tippin is a romantic song entitled, "That's as Close as I'll Get to Loving You."
Saw Aaron Tippin in 2008 when I was deployed to Iraq. He performed in Iraq and Afghanistan several times on USO tours. I also saw Lonestar and a couple other country bands during my 2008-2009 deployment.
I cannot understand why nobody has reacted to Barbara Mandrell. Her voice is stunning and she is very talented. She was popular in the seventies. Female vocalist for several years in a row. My favorite from her is, I was country when country wasn't cool and years.
Representing South Carolina strong. SC underrated for producing great singers
Recommendations for Aaron Tippen "That's as close as I'll get to loving you", "Workin man's PhD", and "My blue angel"
" What you do today you'll have to sleep with tonight". My dad harped that to me and my siblings since we could move around. Back in the early 1970s. Word for word. I have lost him a couple of years ago and everytime I hear this song its tears but also it warms me knowing how much i was loved. Thank you so much for what you guys are doing. America is hurting but we are not as divided as this administration wants us to be. I believe in my heart of hearts that people such as you and jamel and lfr and a few more are doing God's work bringing people together. If we can find something to unite us and bring us together we then can discuss what little things that we need to work on. Because united America is incredible. I doubt yall two remember how it felt 9/12 the day after. We where hurt we were scared a bit we were embarrassed we then got angry and pissed off but it was all of us Americans together. We spoke to strangers we helped in the neighborhood checking on others. You could literally feel the love from stranger's. It was maybe the darkest day 9/11 but 9/12 will always be special because I witnessed what this country can be. I want that world for my kids and grandkids and I want it for all Americans. Sorry i went long but I just felt like it needed to be said. Again thank you both ans keep on rocking
He is from my home town in South Carolina, still active in our town 😊
Aaron's First big hit showed his sense of Humor and I recommend you give it a listen "Ain't nothing wrong with the Radio".
One of them country songs that brings me back to my childhood. With my dad explaining the world to a young, bright eyed boy, me.
Also, Aaron's voice is an epitome of country twang.
Pride of Greenville, SC. You can find him flying nowadays. He became a pilot.
Love me some Aaron Tippin.
He has so much good stuff and he might even be from Oklahoma, I don't remember for sure. My Blue Angel is one of the most painful but rocking ballads I've ever heard. If I had it to do over is so emotional and sincere and it's just heart-wrenching. My kind of town is a total banger it's just fire all the way. It's so intense.
Working man's PhD was a huge hit and it's just something you relate to no matter what your exact job is. Unless you're superrich or something, laugh.
There ain't nothing wrong with your radio is one of his greatest really super fun hits. You guys would absolutely love it.
He's from Spartanburg South Carolina
You guys gotta listen to more Marty Stuart, Travis Tritt, Alan Jackson, Joe Diffie, Sammy Kershaw, Mark Collie, even Billy Gilman! He was a young kid but he had a great country sound when he was young
He has other hit songs, try doing There ain't nithin' wrong with the radio also by Aaron Tippin.
His song and video Kiss This is really funny and a good song.
This is a beautiful song!! ❤️🎼 enjoyed it!! ❤️
I got it honest, where the stars, stripes and eagles fly, working man PhD, this as close as I'll get to loving you, blue eyed angel, and kiss this are must aaron tippin songs
If there was ever a song written for Amber it's Aaron Tippin kISS THIS ! !, I bet it just as good as the weather girls reaction !!!
He's got a great song I know you would enjoy "KISS THIS".
Aaron came to our County Fair a few years ago along with Saamy Kershaw and Collin Raye. All three had numerous great songs in the 90's, with Collin Raye leading the way. PLEASE do "Love Me", probably his biggest hit. Others were "One Boy, One Girl", "In This Life" and "NOT That Different". You will love Collin Raye's incredible voice!
Seconding Collin Raye - his sweetest song is "Love, Me", his funniest is "That's My Story", his most intense is "Little Rock". I also love "Every Second, Every Minute".
I've been requesting Tim McGraw's "Don't Take the Girl" and "Chain Of Love" by Clay Walker - Amber, you want some good crying songs, please do both of those! Great country twangs in both of them.
Both are story songs too!
Crying stories. Haha! I love them though, even though they make me weepy.
90's country then best decade for country in my opinion. Born in 88 I grew up in the 90's and love everything about it.
Haven't heard Aaron for several years, can hear influnces in his music
On August 8th will be one year since our Beloved Olivia Newton-John has passed away, please honour her with a song. "Twist of fate" is a great song, also "Sam" "A little more Live" "Shakin' you" ...Thanks guys
Kiss This, is awesome by Aaron Tippin
True, you don't have to agree with the crowd....stand your ground
Ooh! I love that black & silver guitar on your wall 👩🏻🏫🙀😻🎸🥰‼️
Two more by Aaron Tippen that you must hear are; "Ain't Nothing Wrong With The Radio' , his first hit, and "Kiss This".
In this day and age, more people need to stand for something good and hold their ground
Also have you watched where the heart is, with Ashley Judd and Natalie Portman? There is a song on it called That's the beat of the heart by the Warren brothers and Sara Evans.
Kiss this is an awesome song by him also
Travis Tritt - Tell me You Didn't say Goodbye is a really good one. Will probably bring some tears but such a good song. Travis was one of my Grandmother's favorites
Cal Smith Country Bumpkin. Academy of Country music and Country music association song of the year 1974. One of the sweetest story songs you'll ever hear.
"Where the Stars and Stripes and the Eagle Flies"
Haven’t heard Aaron Tippin in a lot of years.
Have Loved Aaron for the longest of times. Keep them coming, pretty please. 😀
"Where the Stars and Stripes and the Eagle flies" and "I got it honest" are 2 of My all time Aaron Tippin songs.
This song is very applicable today and I wish more people could find their courage within themselves to stand up.
Aaron Tippin was a Lear Jet pilot who stepped off the plane in Nashville and never turned back....Whole Lotta Love On The Line, Blue Angel, Where the Stars and Stripes (ANd Eagles) Fly, and Kiss This were only SOME of his top 40 hits
Aaron has a great southern twang to his voice my sister-in-law is from South Carolina, and I'm from Oklahoma, I say hi or hello, and she says hey!! just like on Andy Griffith show, great people in that part of the country. I wish you would react to Vince Gill, singing "WOULD YOU KINDLY KEEP IT COUNTRY" a great song by Vince, which topped the charts at #1 give it a try. Thanks
90s country was some of the best country hands down.
My Favorite from aron is i have a drinking problem great song
Being a man of conviction isn't easy; but you sleep well and you're right with God! You'll be blessed!
People make fun of country, but for story telling, life lessons and ways to live.....it’s the best!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Since u watched a Aaron tippin ballad u have to listen to kinda a jam by him “kiss this”
I saw Aaron in concert and he was wonderful. Love his other songs and I think you would like, "Honky Tonk Superman" and "Kiss This". He has many songs that great I am sure you would love to listen too.
Love when you kids do Country Music Reactions. Ya’ll are the best reactors!
Stay Blessed.
"I Got It Honest" is another terrific Aaron Tippin song with a similar theme that I think you would enjoy.
“How far it is till over you” is a great one by Aaron tippin
One of the very best older country story tellers is Red Sovine. His songs “Teddy Bear” and his sequel to it ”Little Joe” were hits in the early 80’s. Other really good songs by him are Giddy Up Go and Roses for Mama.
AT, a real musician, American, and a real human being. 🙏🏼✝️💯🇺🇸
Aaron Tippin recorded a song with Tony Justice a few years ago called Brothers of the Highway
Great singer I saw him live twice.
Here’s a great country music for y’all. Marty Stuart Hillbilly Rock. All of his songs are amazing but this song was the first song I heard in country music.
Love this song... Glad you found him
Love you guys the 90's were great people cared not like today.keep ur babies close sick world out there. With love from alabama
You'll love his song Kiss This'
My dad always told us that you take your whole life building your name and 15 seconds to f it up. And you may slip by me but you sleep with your actions every night. It has served me well in my 56 years
I loved your reaction to this song. My favorite Aaron Tippin song is, "I got it ho0nest". I would love to see you react to that one.
I was a marine in Desert Storm and he came to our camp along with Bob Hope. Bob Hope asked a support person if we “were his Marines” meaning the marines from 29 palms Ca…near his home in Palm Springs. He got a yes and he immediately went off script and had few jokes just for us. You could tell he was absolutely thrilled to meet “his marines”
Aaron sang his song and was great though not a country fan. Good memories
Aaron is an interesting guy. He definitely earned a working man PhD and got it honest. Before making it in county music he worked the night shift at Logan Aluminum in Russellville KY, he was a truck driver for awhile. Today he’s also a commercial pilot and aircraft mechanic and he’s still out there touring
I almost always play this song with another country song that came out around the same time. Billy Dean's "Only Here For a Little While" because both has messages about values and what is important in life.
I haven’t thought about Billy Dean in a while. He had some good songs, I need to look for some to listen to now!
And love Billy's,I miss" Billy the Kid".
I’m blown away there aren’t more reactions to Jon Secada. Angel and Just Another Day are all the 80s & 90s Miami vibe. His voice is even more beautiful when he sings his songs in Spanish.
Good call, John Secada had many hits in the early to mid 90s, he's a great singer. His song, Angel, is excellent.
Real good tune 👌 👏
Great artist and I'd suggest one that is outside his most popular but one of my favorites: That's As Close As I'll Get To Loving You. If Amber would like a great and somewhat teary song try Sawyer Brown's 'The Walk."
That's As Close As I'll Get to Loving You is one by him y'all definitely need to react too.
