I've always liked Smythe as a complimentary TE in short yardage 3rd downs and goal line plays, but having him as TE1 was not good enough. Smith is a big upgrade. He doesn't have to be Kelce or Kittle in this offense. Just make some plays when the defense is keying on the speed guys.
He's the biggest threat at TE the Dolphins have had since Randy McMichael right?? I loved me some Tony Fasano but completely different player. Either way that's a long time and I'm excited to see what they dial up for Smith.
I just mike to be not so smart this year... I love the dynamic in coaching he brings. But a couple times last year i wish he would simplify the game plan and would just be smoother to adjust ahen something isnt working.. just saying

I'm excited for this season to start. This offense is looking good. I hoped for a better oline.
All we need to hope for is a healthy O-line... if they stay healthy, this team will put up 30+ points per game.
Not a great of a blocker like Durham, but man does he make up for it in YAC.
