Water Hash Hacks - Advanced Techniques How To

  • These hacks include: How to protect your bags, how to remove water faster and easier and how to clean debris out of your water hash.
    A few notes about the hacks: About the shield, after you put in the shield the screen pulls tight. With a light push the screen should not touch the bottom of your bucket.
    About mixing runs, if too many runs are mixed the largest micron bag used will catch most of the hash, this happens because the screen does not have enough surface area to drain properly. (makes good dahbus though)
    About rinsing, refill hashwater in the 32 gallon bucket and siphon it again to give the hash one big rinse.

    Why not wash with a drill and plaster mixing head in a separate bucket? Then pour through the bubble bags?
    Any friction is wear & tear on that fine mesh. I don't even allow ice cubes into my bags?

      yup. no point. I'm using a cement mixer. Dump into a 30 gallon trash can with 5 gallon size hardware cloth trash catcher. rinse and repeat. when I've got five or 6 gallons I dump through my three bags. That 5 gallon hardware cloth catch pan has been rinsed and now lined with a 5 gall 220 work bag. I'll dump about 3 batchs through then drain and screen. I've got a pulley rigged over the table to hold the bags to drain. Meanwhile the mixer is tumbling another batch. I'm outdoors. About 35 degrees and my fifty foot hose is laying in the snow.

    do i need to cure if im just gonna make bubble (ice water) hash? should I cure before? thanks

    • @JustWengie
      @JustWengie Рік тому

      Short answer is no. But if your hash is green you will want to cure the hash the same way. Otherwise I like to cure the bubble hash in a similar fashion but for different reasons. I put it in a jar before it's totally dry, it should rehydrate in the jar. The first time you do this only leave it in the jar about 4-6 hours, then put it back out to dry for 24 hours. Then back in the jar and repeat. Each time you do this it will take longer to rehydrate and you can leave it in the jar longer and longer and start to just burp it once and awhile. About six months and then you should make sure to dry it 💯 and put some silica packs in there for long term storage. Disclaimer, be really careful to much heat or time in the jar can lead to mold, error on the side drying it out again to early then leaving it wet in the jar too long.

      @@biancagarcia4006 The bags I am using in the video are the 32 gallon size. Boldtbags are reasonably priced for a great high quality bag and Payload bags are good quality inexpensive bags. I have drifted more twords the Payload bags because of the extra recessed screen they have, the flexibility of the material, and they are slightly bigger around. I recommend a 17 gallon muck tub, you will need to cut the handles off and use payload bags for muck tubs because they are a little bigger around and Boldtbags will not fit the muck tub even with the handles cut off. I like the muck tubs because you can get away with using half as much water and process a little more material each run. Otherwise any nice 32 gallon garbage can will work fine with either companies bags. They also make a 20 gallon garbage can which is quite nice and will fit any 32 gallon bag.

      You can most definitely drink the water and it is delicious. It barely contains any thc because thc is not water soluble. It will give you a hell of a buzz though and I think it is all the water soluble stuff in cannabis that gives you the effects. Different strains taste better or worse, I recommend adding half fresh water and half hash water to lighten up the tea. It is strong straight out of the bucket. My favorite ways to drink it are hot, or on ice with a little sugar and cream.

Especially when working with low quality trim or larf that rinsing process is super important for improving quality. Rinse until the water is clear and you will be surprised how much better your trim runs will come out.

You could eat a pound of weed and be fine if it's not decarbed. That water is full of everything you don't want in you final product that's why it's used to remove the garbage and dust and plant matter

      you need a tied system of silk screens (micron 120 down to 50) a gravity feed eg; 60ltr plastic barrel (for water and crud, in line barrel with capture net with release spout at bottom sitting above tied screens,the screens can be made from fly screen framing and the screens can be fitted the same as you would do with normal fly screen and the frames can be made to fit your tied stand that will seat each screen(my screens are 30cm by 30cm square ,with the filters from 120 first screen then 100 to 80 then the 50 sit at the bottom drain tub below the tied system,i use 100ltr for the bottom tub and pump the water back up to the barrel as it is then a continuous cycle maxing the yield nothing is lost.i run 4 oz per run for 4 to 6 hrs more if it is still producing, collecting yield off the screens as you go(a small window cleaner is good for collecting running over screen), and then drain the barrel and let water sit over night in tub to settle,and yeah i have tap at the bottom of the tub below the 50mc screens ,to drain out tub(do it slow) the 50,s are super fine and collect incredible amounts of fine yield,when dried all the yields from the diffferent screens can be blended (coffee grinder)then heated and compressed, if ya got and washing machine ya can swap that for the barrel ,if i use the barrel i stir the crud with drill and a paint mixer for best results and keep ya water cold as, i freeze buckets of water an add to tub 2 to 8c best temp good luck Bud, i am sure even this system can be advanced:)

      I promise you this method makes full melt, rinsing the hash improves quality. I have test results for hash I have made this way, you can see them here helpourcirclegrow.com/store/index.php?route=product/category&path=80_102

      @hocghelpourcirclegrow7693  6 років тому

      I'm sorry I don't have any yield percentage numbers. The tricks in this video will not effect your yield percentage in any way though. In my opinion the mixing process is what impacts yield percentage the most.

      I do have test results here: helpourcirclegrow.com/store/index.php?route=product/category&path=80_102 and I was finally able to get some numbers after working for a company in Portland. I processed 100 lbs of Gorilla Glue per day with just over a 10% yield, and the resulting hash tested out at 73% THC

    Is this water thing even comparable to RSO..... I'm a medical user..

    • @JustWengie
      @JustWengie 6 років тому +2

      I can not say for sure the differences between the two when it comes to cannabinoid profiles, but my opinion is, if you are eating it I would stick to RSO. If you are smoking then I would go for the water hash. Water hash is a solvent free extraction process that leaves your trichomes intact, so it will have a longer shelf life than RSO.

      Sorry I didn't show the final result of the hash. You can see a pile of hash at 4:10 before all the water was removed. My next video I will be sure to include my finale product.

      the cloudyness of the water is the hash. maybe for somebody who has only ever observed the final product you see no hash, this video should change your perspective.

    Low quality trim and very unsanitary methods! No gloves or hairnets let alone out in the open air. People care about what goes in your body, these methods we used in the late 90s, very backwards totally contaminated. No thanks.

      No gloves or hairnets? I thought you were making a joke. Do you use tweezers and gloves every time you pack up a bowl? Oh, you forgot to mention a gas mask and hazmat suit. Wouldn't want some terribly contaminated hash!!!
