Beautiful and I don't know how people can down vote such an amazing scene recorded in such high quality! On my galaxy s8 it only let's me use 1080p but still remarkable none the less.

That sounds great and all, but the Samsung Galaxy S8 doesn't support HDR through UA-cam yet, but the scene does look amazing nonetheless. If you truly want to see its effect, watch it using Chromecast Ultra.

TheInfiniteNexus Productions it does only certain videos though and you know when its on, nobody seems to know why it works on some videos and not others but it does work. HDR is unmistakable when its on

You won't. Google has already stated that only some Samsung TV's, Roku Premiere Plus in the latest firmware update and the Chromecast Ultra support UA-cam HDR at the moment, they also have a tag that says "HDR" playing next to the video to let you know. People just think it's in HDR but UA-cam uploads two versions of the video one in standard dynamic range and one in high dynamic range, and people watch it on their HDR supported devices assuming it's automatically in HDR when it isn't. You need a supported device.

it looks great but if it's not 10/70 film it's not IMAX it doesn't have the resolution only 4k IMAX film can be 18k if IMAX was digital.

it may be claimed to have been graded to 1,000 nits, but i watched the entire thing side by side on z9d vs. lg oled c6, and it looked essentially identical on both sets. i really doubt there are many scenes with peaks anywhere close to 1,000 nits.

Wish this this worked on the Galaxy S8 but there version of hdr is jacking up the brightness and contrast. Fake hdr.

MobileDecay It now works with HDR on the S8. Might need to clean the youtube cache first though.
