Zetsubou, Dead of the Night, and Moon all being so high makes me so happy 🥲 all maps that get a ton of flak from the community but I absolutely LOVE and think are SO immaculately designed
Justified ranking Moon high because of the setting being on a different planet. Yet, Shangri La didn't benefit from the treatment even though it's on Mars 🤔

The BO4 love is so welcome, I'm tired of not seeing goats like ancient evil and dead of the night not super high up. Even as a BO4 lover though, voyage being that high is crazy to me, I can't even explain what it is, voyage just annoys me to play
12:20 Oddly enough, Origins is my favorite Zombies map because you can EARN one of the best training spots in zombies. For doing the entire Easter egg, but not ending the game, you can train in the Crazy place without the falling walls, it’s super neat.
Finally someone else who shares my favorite training spot in all of zombies history. going back to the crazy place after completing the egg and seeing the walls dissappear was such an incredible feeling. Plus, it's all Templar zombies in the crazy place and makes the training spot even better 👌 🙌

@Doughnuts I suffer from the same syndrome, "Not enough time to play other maps" syndrome. I have all maps in my console, but I rather play the newer games. I mostly play BO4, Cold War, and MWZ. Right now MWZ takes all my free time. I appreciate your work on ranking them , it could help me with what maps to play next.

I cannot stand it when people say these things i mean truly are you saying a conglomerate of multiple maps floating on chunks of land IN SPACE is not cool and interesting and an original idea for zombies? I watched the whole thing and made my own list and it wasn't 100% the same but we had some similar rankings. I also put my predictions on the launch maps for BO6 up there with Terminus being low S tier and Liberty being high B tier. I agree with what you said though about the possibilities of what BO6 can be. We're in for a great year and its going to start in less than 2 weeks.
I'd honestly say the classic Kino Der Toten or Nacht Der Toten, even Der Riese, because the way you actually had to strategize and work for the Easter Eggs
Assuming BO6 is mechanically a significant improvement over CW I really hope they do a resurrection style DLC drop bringing the four previous maps from CW onto BO6 just for general quality of life - I feel like that would make a lot more sense than a chronicles 2 and maybe, hopefully, cement the title as a standout.

This list is awesome and I agree with a lot of takes. In my list I did bump verruckt up a lot but thats also because of my different criteria. Also what you said about ao, I completely get it, it has much more and arguably better content than most maps but sometimes you just don’t wanna play it, for me it’s the novas, both of them, I hate them
Verruckt is the best. Hands down. Your crazy not loving WAW maps! Setting and aura is hands down the best zombies has ever been. And it was the first zombies with perks
Controversial but GK and Zets is so much more replayable than DE. I’m sorry but I’ve always found DE Boring. When it came out I wasn’t in love with it and about a year later I started watching more zombie UA-camrs and that’s when I realized the map was rated so high. To me though just like Blundell said it’s just vanilla and to me it’s too easy

I'm a voyage enjoyer, The atmosphere and challenge is nice. The footsteps of zombie hoard chasing you on a boat deck feels intense.

Transit is not good. It sucked when it came out and it’s a map that still gets boring after you set up
