- Telling accounts of multiple investigations exposing corruption and abuse in evangelicalism, journalist and radio host, Julie Roys argues powerfully that we're experiencing a move of God to purify his church. This talk was given at the RESTORE Chicago conference on November 2, 2019, at Judson University.
I won in the court where my former "pastor" in the name of the whole church sue me for "slander" in 2018. Finaly, judge is reject any occusiaons against me. Five years without a lawyer, money, job, but GOD!!! Hallelujah, God is God

Having listened again I have come to believe that we do what is right in the “power or strength of His might”. He will judge when He is ready. He is sovereign but we must obey. Julie can not be responsible for defeating the Goliath’s of corruption. We, the parishioners, MUST do this locally in our own house of worship. So let’s resolve to lead the battle to restore the body of Christ instead of reading about bloggers who engage in the battle.

John MacArthur is supposed to be a pillar of what an elder Christian ought to be yet his covert actions of trying to hide physical, spiritual and sexual abuse within his Grace to You Church and Master’s university program was deplorable! Shame on him.

I remember these same defenses for Ravi Zacharias when people warned the masses years ago.
There was a prophet a good few years back who stated that God was going to bring to an end the age of 'celebrity' Christians. The concept of big names leading big ministries would ultimately cease. At that time, I didn't pay too much attention to it.

Roys pulled herself out of a conference she put together, due to some abusive behavior she had in the past. Wow, the irony, a self-claimed “exposing church abuse specialist”, is now the center of an abuse scandal. How sad. Maybe that’s why Paul writes: women should be silent in the church.

I don't know if James was "a wolf in sheep's clothing or not" but when he was the Singles Pastor at the (Then) Arlington Heights Evangelical Free Church, he was competitive and aggressive, but he was not the person he seems to have become and i feel very bad for him. I am NOT giving him a pass, I am just praying that he sees the error of his ways and repents fully of his actions!

Thanks for uploading this! I'm in Maryville, East Tennessee and am trying to get well enough to deal with this subject publically in my area, although I'm still mostly homebound. I know about the abuse cover up in the mental health industry as well as the churches primarily because I am a parent whose older child began offending my younger two when I got sick in college. Although I've found no churches to offer services for my children over the years, I'm still mostly struggling with Presbyterian Church USA since it's associated with my alma mater and this all began while I was a student there. @@duncescotus2342 I live in Canada and we are 20 to 40 years ahead of the United States in Western cultural trends i.e. The decline of the influence of the church and church attendance, health care for all as an expected given, true separation of church and state with no influence in the schools except for (Ontario by a quirk history) if you’re a Christian in Canada you are countercultural immediately fine believe in God and going to church alone! Most of the self-described Christians would be evangelical but many would have different opinions from their US neighbours and at least 25% of them would be ‘another animal’ completely! LOL

Jesus, the Christ, is God's word made flesh. Jesus is Jehovah God's (The Creator's) Word made into flesh.

John chapter 1 verse 1: "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

John's Vision Of Christ Seated On His Throne In Heaven:
Revelation chapter 4 verse 2 to 3: " Immediately, I (John), was in the Spirit, and behold a throne sat in Heaven, and One sat on the throne. And He who sat there was like a jasper and a sardius stone in appearance, and there was a rainbow around the throne, in appearance like an emerald."
Why did Christ Jesus came and sacrificed His precious life for sinners like us?
Christ (God's Word made into flesh), came because through flesh (Adam's flesh) sin entered the world, and then because of sin death entered the whole earth. Through flesh(Jesus Christ's flesh), the earth will be saved, sin is destroyed, and the curse of death shall be broken, death and the grave shall be cast into hell.
Christ, who is God's Word made into flesh, sacrificed His life for us. He was crucified for our sins and transgressions.
Christ died, and on the third day He resurrected in the flesh, conquering death and the grave. Now, Christ is seated in Heaven, at the right hand of Power(God). Through Christ's sacrifice we gain Salvation through God's abundant mercy and grace. We are reconciled and recompensed back to God, through the shed blood of His beloved Son Christ Jesus.
John chapter 3 verse 16: " For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that who ever believes in Him, shall not perish, but have everlasting life."
Romans chapter 5 verse 8: " But God demonstrates His love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us."
Christ came to undo the sin and eternal death brought upon the world through the sin of Adam.
Death in Adam, Life In Christ:
Romans chapter 5 verse 19: " For as by one man's disobedience, many were made sinners, so also by one Man's obedience, many will be made righteous."
Romans chapter 5 verse 18: " Therefore, as through one man's (Adam's) offense judgement came to all men, resulting in condemnation, even through one Man's (Christ's) righteous act, the free gift came to all men, resulting in the justification of life."
Romans chapter 5 verse 17: " For if by the one man's offense(Adam's offense), death reigned through the one, much more those who receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in the life through the One(Jesus Christ).
Romans chapter 5 verse 12: " Therefore, just as through one man (Adam)sin entered the world, and death through sin, and thus death spread to all men, because all sinned."
Romans chapter 5 verse 21: " "So that as sin reigned in death, even so grace might reign through righteousness to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."
Do you now see that through Adam, sin and death entered the world, so that is why Christ Jesus came to give life, and give it abundantly? Yes Christ came to give eternal life through Salvation.
Adam's flesh brought sin, death, destruction, and condemnation.
Christ's sacrifice, the crucifixtion of His flesh, brings reconciliation of sins, life, resurrection, eternal life, salvation
Christ is coming back again, not as a sacrificial lamb. He is coming back as a roaring, waring lion, to destroy sin, death, and the grave once and for all. Amen! Amen! Amen! Amen! Amen! Amen! Amen! Hallelujah!
Revelation chapter 22 verse 12 to 13: " And behold, I come quickly, and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be. I am the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last. "
Now do you see friends, Why Christ Jesus is so so Important for our Salvation? Yes.
Now, do you understand why there is only one way to God, and that is only through Christ Jesus,only? Yes.
Christ is Salvation. Christ is our Lord and Saviour. Christ is the only way to God. Christ is the only Mediator between God and men(us humans).
God loves us so much, He does not want anyone to perish in hell. God wants all sinners to be saved. That is why He sent His Word to save the world. God's Word became flesh, and dwelt among us to save us.
Will you accept Christ and be saved?
Romans chapter 6 verse 23: " For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."

Shame on you you read quotes by what these wolves say this is a very corrupt organization and I'm speaking of the whole 30 anything it's evil outright evil. I suffered abuse at the hands of my husband for 41 years and now pastors would help me even with written proof emails text messages between him and others. Abuse bullying goes on with these pastors and it seems like a good old boys club.

This prompts so many questions though for me.
Why does a god prompt a guy to make a recording and not the other guy to stop being an asshole? Freewill, right?
Why does a god care more about the reputation of his organization, let rampant shenanigans go for decades and centuries, more than the victims and their huge uphill healing battle? Gets worked out in heaven, right?
Why will these problems getting called out create some change, only to resurface in say 100 years by some different iteration of pride, lust and greed?
What did Jesus actually save us from? Heaven seems like the only trump card; but let’s not even go down the Trump route ;)
I think the big elephant in the room and the sad truth is, god hasn’t been nor is coming, justice waits for us to act, for us to be brave and to stand up to corrupt power. If conceptualizing god helps motivate and prompt you along the way, great, keep doing good.
‘Heaven’ has been mistakenly passed off as pie in the sky by and by... the kingdom of God is about much more it’s about the hope and therefore the hope/opportunity for the restoration of justice for the broken hearted and left behind. Remember ‘the first will be last’ it’s (at least) a comfort and a hope but that in No Way means we are not ‘justice warriors’ here and now. Wipe out God and you still have the same problems but with out hope.

But it’s hard no to think what you mean by hope is sitting back and wishing god will fix it or will at the end of days. To me this is the worse kind of hope there is. I can’t accomplish single-handedly righting the world, no matter how hard I try. I don’t see how you’re any further ahead than I am in this regard as you only have 75 to 90 years to accomplish what eventually I believe can and will be ‘completed’ in the ‘age to come’ ☮️
