What’s crazy is the director was done and got down off the stand and the drimline brought it back. I was like why 🤦🏾♂️ That tuba part was already risky and it was flawless. Definitely didn’t have to run it back.
Even with the mess up. They played the song great they just didn’t have the run it back together. Granted issues with the tubas but it was an amazing piece
@@damargittens4934 agreed, definitely one of my favorite songs of the battle, honestly didn't need to run it back but I'm sure it's gonna sound Alot better this weekend.
I’ll never get over how much time we put into this song only for the drummers to fuck it up for the whole band. Just can’t understand why they decided the day of the event to run it back as if we rehearsed it that way. Smh
Drummers didn’t fk nun up stay in the front worry bout yall notes it was a clean bring back the tubas fked that up but the horns most definitely can’t talk yall had more mess ups then normal
@@dopeetezzy FOH, the tubas would’ve never messed up if the drummers didn’t run it back in the first place. The whole reason the tubas messed up is because we literally NEVER rehearsed running the song back and the director/arranger made it clear to the entire band…we WERE NOT running the song back, so why would y’all decide to do it the day of the gotdamn performance? Not to mention the song is already damn near 3 minutes long…what’s the benefit of running it back when the song is already long enough and was perfectly executed? I got love for y’all but I swear I think some of you percussionists don’t have a brain.
Simple rule. Don't bring nothing back if the director doesn't bring it back. Our messups came from bring backs that wasn't called by the directors. Now put that blame where you want
Minus the mess up this song was crazy 💯
