Instead, he had some appearance in later books. Also, he wasn't supposed to be that young and good looking. Pretty sure that Li Guinian was described as middle aged in the novel. I was just surprised that the donghua even gave him such a good design. Tho ig since he's gonna appear later they need him to be memorable 😂

The lyrics are from ancient poem from Tang dynasty written by Zhang Ruoxu (張若虛) and it's called A Flowery moonlight night by the Spring river.
