i used to practically live on this game during the 2014-2017 timeframe (was a sorc main back when they were rare. glad to see they're appreciated, haha!!), and it's great to see so much love for a game that i grew up on & treasure even as an adult with new tastes 😊💕 this was so nostalgic to watch! thank you for the amazing content.
2014-2017 was my peak and active years in this game.. but when my 4th yr in college came.. I gotta get serious in school so I stopped logging in.. just made anime my pass time.. after that 3yrs passed found a job.. got bored in life tried to revisit the game.. but sadly my game account has been deleted (It was stated in the forums that they did a database cleanup and started deleting inactive accounts, I was the unlucky one, I just wished that they deleted the dummy accounts without much progress) I just lost interest and gave up. Now, it came to my mind so I just searched it out. just thinking if it's still up - I was amazed..

Unfortunately mods like that are against TOS, but you can turn off the visual damage effects if you don't like seeing them. In the settings, under functions>combat settings > you can turn off visuals for other's damage, your personal dmg, and your received damage. They're separate settings. Personally I like mine on and others' off. If you do turn that off, there's also two different damage monitors: a text based one that you can open as an in game chat window, and a time based one that shows your total damage, how long you were in combat, and your average dps for the last 10 in combat phases.

I just started this game and the feel and aesthetic seems quite interesting for a small anime like MMO, which is pretty new for me. The Engine itself does remind me a bit of S4 League. (And I never even PLAYED S4 League before, which is kinda sad since it died back in 2022.)
I'd actually never heard of S4 league, so I just looked it up. Its a shame to hear of games after they've already closed. It looks cool, though personally I'm not big on PVP. I hope you enjoy your time in AK!

haha.. I don't know what they were thinking when they teased it late last year because its not out just yet. But not long after I posted the June news update, they announced in the discord they are planning the next class adjustment for August. That should be the one!

The game failed miserably because of the greedy publisher and developers, it's been dead since then. The old accounts got deleted as well. No point for returning players who spent thousands
Well i've never played AK before but i randomly saw a video of it 2 days ago and started on private server since people said its much better than officials been testing / looking to play mmo for last 3 weeks tested like 20 mmos by now and i got bored of all of them so quick its funny how this old mmo currently makes me enjoy way more than any modern mmo even with the clunky combat and camera (holding lmb or rmb to rotate ur char / camera) which alot of ppl wouldnt like nowdays considering there is way way better combat in mmos in 2024 so far having fun we'll see untill when :D

Its kicking around! You don't see a lot of people in the low level areas because the curve has been adjusted so much over the years. I promise you wont be farming titan's root for 15 months anymore, you can get from start to lv 100 in ~11 hours... or at least I did on a livestream haha
Thanks for making quality AK content this many years after release. Do you know if it's still possible to recover old accounts from before Aeria transferred it to X-legend?
it is still possible- make an XL account on the new website to access the ticket system. They have a specific ticket for account recovery. Give them as much info as you can provide about your account to help link you up to it. If you need more help I would recommend checking the discord for the links, as I’ll be working extra long shifts all week till Sunday and won’t be able to reply consistently here
I didnt know that there was a server transfer. I submitted the request to get my account back because luckly I had old videos saved to enter in my server, name, and level before the transfer so hopefully I get my account back to enter in the transfer code to play again.
Fingers crossed for you! I've heard of lots of successes of linking people up to their accounts so I think you should be good with that kinda detailed info!

im playing with a tachi shuriken but among the people in my clan I was in who told me that it was one of the worst classes, and how difficult it was getting for me, I stopped playing it, I tried with a spearman but it was not the same as with my original character, never I found a way to find a way to play without having in mind that my character is bad, and I stopped playing it and playing others, the truth is I want to play it again but there are not many clans in Spanish, and if there are they don't speak much, we are talking about one of my favorite games... :c
I'm sorry to hear that. I know what you mean though, my main, warbow, is generally considered to be a very low (if not lowest) tier class in terms of power, and even worse with guard sub like I have, but I like it so much I main it anyway. Tachi was actually buffed recently though so some people might have poor impression from before that doesn't hold up. Make sure you're taking advantage of your Soul Blade state to dish out the big numbers when it matters, as when its active all your skills will do +50% dmg.
A discord user did provide us some details on the details, but that actually weren't released in the new patch today. I'd like to reserve opinion on just how much a difference those changes are for when I can actually see them in action but... they're seriously huge. 1000+ words in bullet points explaining changes kind of huge.

If it included a big movespeed buff and let you use all your normal skills that would be really absurdly OP, but if it switches to new skill bar like zeta, it would ruin rotations. Sounds cool, but I just don't see it being a great mechanic functionally.
Hmmmmmmmmm hard to say. I know there was an inactive account sweep up back when it was still Aeria around 2016 so it might not be possible to recover. You can try submitting a ticket to XL but honestly if it was that far back I would recommend just starting from scratch- with the newbie presents and exp curves you will pass your progress from back then real fast.
Me and my group of friends quit this game some 2016-2017ish cause they added +30 to the game and we were sick of it. We had the biggest guild on the game running but we all sorta went our separate ways,was kinda sad. I recommend the game it can be quite fun,but try to make friends

heyo- all of the main story quests are solo (the orangey-yellow ! quests)- anything that requires you to do dungeons to proceed in the game will only complete in solo mode. And second, the Starcaller and Nunchaku classes each have their own special start maps, but all 18 of the rest start at Port Skandia.

I played AK not too long ago in Feb 23, I remember transfering my data over but did not get around to playing again, I've tried launching the game recently but I have a issue with the game not launching to to an expired web certificate? I wished to ask, is it possible to log in still presently?
Hm, if you transferred your account it should be good to go, just want to make sure, did you get the new launcher from XL? You wont be able to use the old launcher. If the new XL launcher is giving you that error its probably because it hasn't been fully patched, I would recommend a full scan or re-install
level 99 on the main quest? How long does that take? I used to play this when I barely had time to grind for anything. Myabe I should finally max out at this game once and for all
i never played aura kingdom before but found it on steam back in like 2020 or 2021 and quit.. i was wondering while looking for private server of this game to try out to play again after not playing. The class i would usually like to pick when starting out as wizard in games unless there is no such class in other games.
@@shirouluffy3833 Yes, thats the official server. If you had an account on the steam version, you can send XL a ticket with as much info as you can remember about your account, they may still be able to recover it for you
( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) well pragmatically there are less costume options and they tend to be more expensive. I think the kiddos are cute too but I also like having costumes and options. Its my curse.
Unfortunately no, but you can just turn them off. In the settings go to the Functions tab, then head to the second category. You can turn off others' dmg, your own dmg, and your recieved damage visibility. I might be just used to it, but personally I like it on for my personal dmg so I can see if I'm getting backstrikes.
Sadly, you can't change your main class, if you want to play multiple you will need to level each one on a new character. You can change your subclass any time for free in the skills menu (hotkey K), it just has a 10 minute cooldown.
I don't have any class specific guides, but I did play rav for the livestream series where I started from scratch on a fresh account. What specifically are you looking for help with?
The truth is, lightning (holy flash) isn't recommended, like ryan said. Dark is prob the most common, with holy second. (I just did lightning because I like the lightning eidolon Tyr a lot)
Its not hard, but it really depends a lot on the eidolon and what you want to do to get them- you'll need 3 keys, a bunch of eido exp food, and emblems. For keys: If they spawn in game you can use charms to get more frags. If they're in the LP store you can farm LP and easily get them maxed out. Cash shop eidos/paragon eidos, hard to put a timeline on it because, for example, I bought two xiaoqiao lucky packs off another player and got lucky with a full key, but I I bought 25 Hodur packs off other and only got 7 fragments. Once you have them, its long game but you can get fragments from linking so you don't need to buy/roll them anymore, but that could be a few months to max out if you're not lucky or don't remember to link. For EXP crystals and emblems: running gaia modes will provide you with plenty. Especially with greater emblems, you're going to get more than your eidolons can eat.
Gear? no. Especially not before ~s10. crafting isn't gold-pricy before lv 100 (awakening), and there's a s5 (that is, 105) noncrafted armor set and s5 weapon that you can get without spending any gold or cash thats viable. One of the recent updates also massively increased the availability of fortification items in game. But like I said in the big screen text thing, there's collection systems where you gain stats by having collections of stuff. A set of fortified weapons, a set of eidolons, a set of costumes, etc. I plan to talk about these more in a future video. These don't really affect early game, since they didn't exist when that content was released, but for late game, you wont be soloing party dungeons in bad gear (like you can see me do with some of my alt characters in this video) without them.
I don't have a steamdeck, and I don't know much about them, but there are a few players who posted screenshots of playing on steamdeck in the discord. However also note the version of the game that was on steam is no longer playable- when the publisher changed over they transferred over to a new launcher. But those players who posted screenshots were post-transfer so it must be doable somehow. But yeah, I wouldn't be able to provide any technical support on that front.

I get it, and that may not appeal to people, but most games I've played do have restrictions in some ways on the number of times you can challenge instances for rewards. As someone who has joined in on some intense grinding sessions with players muuuch more hardcore than myself, I can appreciate there being a limit- because even then we could go 3-4 hours straight with all the dungeons in the set and it would reset before we finished. Goodness back on s25 cap grind there were people power napping between each two hour reset. I can't imagine how hard they would have gone if there was zero restriction.

@@farahani4388 I guess you can put it that way. To Explain: When the game transitioned from Gamigo to XL, they weren't able to transfer player account information due to the GDPR. As a result, players were emailed a long code, an account recovery code, that could be used to link a new XL login with an existing in game account. If you want to play on your old account, you will need that code. If you can't find the code in the email that was associated with the gamigo account, you will need to send a ticket to see if they can help you recover it. The codes were sent out over a year ago now, so if you didn't see it back then, your only way to get it now would be to send a ticket.

You can check out my Stellar Sphere 1-101 VOD, but it was about 11 hours if you don't count my lunchbreak.

i never played aura kingdom before but found it on steam back in like 2020 or 2021 and quit.. i was wondering while looking for private server of this game to try out to play again after not playing. The class i would usually like to pick when starting out as wizard in games unless there is no such class in other games.

@@shirouluffy3833 Yes, thats the official server. If you had an account on the steam version, you can send XL a ticket with as much info as you can remember about your account, they may still be able to recover it for you

can i make the damage numbers smaller? they take away like half of the screen lol
Unfortunately no, but you can just turn them off. In the settings go to the Functions tab, then head to the second category. You can turn off others' dmg, your own dmg, and your recieved damage visibility.
I might be just used to it, but personally I like it on for my personal dmg so I can see if I'm getting backstrikes.
Did you play this on the original servers or any of the private ones?

Im a newbie, can we change primary class??
Sadly, you can't change your main class, if you want to play multiple you will need to level each one on a new character. You can change your subclass any time for free in the skills menu (hotkey K), it just has a 10 minute cooldown.

Guitar should dark or holy flash ?
Holy flash is lightning, so of the 2 options dark is better, but holy light is typically the other option for dark
The truth is, lightning (holy flash) isn't recommended, like ryan said. Dark is prob the most common, with holy second. (I just did lightning because I like the lightning eidolon Tyr a lot)
On which Server are the most ppl active?
The servers are split by language. The US (english) server is probably the most populated.
How hard is it to get an eidolon and max that out ?
Its not hard, but it really depends a lot on the eidolon and what you want to do to get them- you'll need 3 keys, a bunch of eido exp food, and emblems.
For keys: If they spawn in game you can use charms to get more frags. If they're in the LP store you can farm LP and easily get them maxed out. Cash shop eidos/paragon eidos, hard to put a timeline on it because, for example, I bought two xiaoqiao lucky packs off another player and got lucky with a full key, but I I bought 25 Hodur packs off other and only got 7 fragments. Once you have them, its long game but you can get fragments from linking so you don't need to buy/roll them anymore, but that could be a few months to max out if you're not lucky or don't remember to link.
For EXP crystals and emblems: running gaia modes will provide you with plenty. Especially with greater emblems, you're going to get more than your eidolons can eat.

Need a lot of money to become quite geared I am guessing...
Gear? no. Especially not before ~s10. crafting isn't gold-pricy before lv 100 (awakening), and there's a s5 (that is, 105) noncrafted armor set and s5 weapon that you can get without spending any gold or cash thats viable. One of the recent updates also massively increased the availability of fortification items in game.
But like I said in the big screen text thing, there's collection systems where you gain stats by having collections of stuff. A set of fortified weapons, a set of eidolons, a set of costumes, etc. I plan to talk about these more in a future video. These don't really affect early game, since they didn't exist when that content was released, but for late game, you wont be soloing party dungeons in bad gear (like you can see me do with some of my alt characters in this video) without them.

Can you play this on steamdeck?
I don't have a steamdeck, and I don't know much about them, but there are a few players who posted screenshots of playing on steamdeck in the discord. However also note the version of the game that was on steam is no longer playable- when the publisher changed over they transferred over to a new launcher. But those players who posted screenshots were post-transfer so it must be doable somehow.
But yeah, I wouldn't be able to provide any technical support on that front.

To be honest, the limited dungeon entry is a pretty dated design, and super underwhelming
I get it, and that may not appeal to people, but most games I've played do have restrictions in some ways on the number of times you can challenge instances for rewards. As someone who has joined in on some intense grinding sessions with players muuuch more hardcore than myself, I can appreciate there being a limit- because even then we could go 3-4 hours straight with all the dungeons in the set and it would reset before we finished.
Goodness back on s25 cap grind there were people power napping between each two hour reset. I can't imagine how hard they would have gone if there was zero restriction.

When the game transitioned from Gamigo to XL, they weren't able to transfer player account information due to the GDPR.
As a result, players were emailed a long code, an account recovery code, that could be used to link a new XL login with an existing in game account.
If you want to play on your old account, you will need that code. If you can't find the code in the email that was associated with the gamigo account, you will need to send a ticket to see if they can help you recover it.
The codes were sent out over a year ago now, so if you didn't see it back then, your only way to get it now would be to send a ticket.
